We enjoyed our stay in this clean, attractive condo. It had all the amentities for a comfortable stay and a minor problem with the phone and internet service was resolved quickly by the rental agency. The shore in front of the complex is not usable because of rocks and seaweed but there are two nice sandy public beaches a 5 minute walk in either direction. Duval Street and downtown Key West was a 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive from the condo complex.

If you want a laid back, self-initiated and private vacation, then Key West and this condo is ideal. Wonderful decor, well-kept facility, great amenities for what we wanted. Rent Key West is professional, reliable and courteous. One does need a car as the distance to Duval is significant and the length of Duval is significant.

This was a fantastic rental home, easily worth the full 5 stars except for one thing somewhat out of control of the owners: the ocean absolutely reeked. The city finally started clearing away the dead seaweed toward the end of our stay, which helped tremendously.
Now that that is out of the way up-front, if/when the city finishes cleaning or if you do not mind the smell, #204 Beach Club is fantastic. It really feels like a private beach home. Both bedrooms and the living area are very spacious. The bathrooms and showers are near spa quality. The kitchen is incredibly well appointed. And the layout, including a balcony overlooking the atlantic Ocean, is open and extremely comfortable.
The location is perfect for a Key West visit for a family, too. Easy access to nearby beaches, Duval and water activities. I really struggled to not give this 5 stars but I want readers to be farwarned about the smell. Call ahead, find out the condition of the beach outside of the balcony. If it is completely cleaned of seaweed, book immediately... if not, decide how you feel about that before booking.
For me and my family it really was not an issue outside of the initial shock and the unfortunate fact that it made us not want to eat on the wonderful beachfront balcony. -

Suite 204 was just perfect! We loved the modern amenities, the wonderful Key West colors of tangerine, lime and yellow accents. The family portraits made us feel at home. We had our own covered parking with elevator to our condo and the shoreline just steps away. Everything was spotless and in great working order. Our balcony looked out through the palms and occasionally we would catch a glimpse of a green iguana sunning himself on a branch. The Beach Club is also near the airport which was very convenient. Our family had a wonderful time snorkeling right out in front of the condo. It was nice and quiet but only a couple miles away from Duval Street. Truly one of our best vacations. Paige, at Rent Key West, was so much help in getting us set up as well. Thanks!

Great location, condo provide great views and plenty of space for the 5 of us. Rented bikes for the week and usually rode them where ever we wanted to go visit.

Our 3rd year at the Beach Club. The location is great because its in a quiet area of the island. When we want to venture out we have the option of Duval. The condos are very spacious.
The only problem this year was one of the units were being renovated from morning til night. Quite noisy. -

Check-in with Rent KW was great. Very nice folks.
Bc#204 is a very nice condo with a great view.
Nicely decorated, very comfortable.
There were a few things that need repair, ice maker, refrig light blubs, could use a new disposal. Couch needs to be cleaned and bed mattresses could be replaced.
"Noseeums" were a real problem for us, bites all over.
Overall we had a very good vacation and would rent from Rent KW again. -

We enjoyed our stay at Beach Club 204 - the weather was a little chilly but sitting on the balcony and enjoying the sunrise to the sound of the ocean and palm trees swaying in the breeze helped make it worthwhile.
The location is quiet and secure.
Duval Street is a $10 cab ride and worth it - with parking or lack of, it was expensive to bring your own car down and the cabs are easily obtainable on Duval well into the night.
Suggest a later than 10am check-out - with the requirements upon check-out(remove sheets/towels, clean dishes, remove trash, etc.) limitied cleaning is required to get through the condo for the next visitor. -

We were not happy with the condition of the condo: rugs in bathrooms, bedrooms and kitchen were filthy, bedspread in master bedroom had stains on it, coffee pot had to be thoroughly cleaned before our initial use, kitchen counters were dirty, ice maker didn't work, deck furniture surfaces had not been cleaned and deck floor had food left on it.
This was our 5th experience with renting from RentKW, all at the Beach Club. The condo we had the last time also was not clean but we thought we'd give you another chance. We spent some time on our recent vacation exploring other housing options for future Key visits. For what you charge for a week's rental I don't think it's unreasonable to expect a place that's clean, do you?Response from Rent Key West Vacations - 05/03/2010

The Rent Key West staff was knowledgable and helpful; listen to their suggestions! This condo is simply wonderful. The rooms are very large and airy. The building is quiet with a view right on the beach. This is a unit that is clearly used by the owner, there are comfortable family touches throughout. Much larger than it appeared in the photos, with vibrant and fun colors that are festive and well thought out!
Please, do not rent this unit, we want it available for us! -

We enjoyed the unit. All appliance were working and the unit was in good condition. The location was quiet and secure. We were close enough to drive or bike to the downtown area but far enough away that there was no noise. The neighbors in the condo comples were very friendly. We were well satisfied with our experience. The rental company was accomodating and flawless. We arrived after rental office hours but did not encounter any problems. We would do it again!
