Really enjoyed the condo and the fact it was across from the ocean. It was only minutes away from Duval Street where we spent the majority of our time. Would stay here again.

Lovely spot off the beaten path

My husband and I spent 10 days here in august and thoroughly enjoyed our time. The view from our balcony was great and was one of the reasons why we picked the spot. The apartment complex has plenty of parking and you get an assigned spot in the covered, open air garage. This complex is not down town and is walking distance to only a few restaurants, so be prepared to bike or drive everywhere you go. We had a car, and drove most places--which meant paying for parking most days.

Master bedroom is large and spacious
2 bathrooms--I also liked how the master bathroom had a door between the shower/toilet area and the sink area as it made getting ready in the morning easier

washer and drier in the apartment

*No blinds/curtains on the balcony windows. We had to close the hurricane shutters if we wanted living room privacy. Basic curtains would have been nice
*We had two inspections while there--fire extinguishers and fire safety walk through. Each inspection happened at a different time and we had a 2 day window for each of them. I know this is scheduled by the town, and not the rental company, but the first inspection that happened was the morning after we arrived (exhausted) and I was still in my nightgown and had to wake my husband up for them to come in! Pinpointing the day and time of the inspections would have been nice. -

Easy smooth reservations,Nice 2 bed room condo.
Condo fully equipped, kitchen,washer dryer,beach towels,
games,books,the little things like that made it very homey.
Good location short drive to all points of interest.
I recommend bringing bikes or renting them,easy to get around on bikes.

I would just like to thank the owner of this rental property. After reading the reviews I wasn't sure what to expect. It was absolutely perfect! My husband, my daughter and I stayed at this property for 10 days and loved it. It was very comfortable, accomodating and the location was just what we were looking for. We loved Smathers Beach across the street. However, we went down the street going north and we were completely away from any crowd. There were really not too many people there at any time. We went to Fort Zach beach one day as we had read in reviews that i was a much nicer beach. I have to disagree! We loved Smathers the best. Yes, there was seaweed around the edge, but we walked through the seaweed out to a sandbar and spent the day lounging with rafts on the sandbar. Perfectly clean, clear and beautiful! We loved being away from Duval, but close enough to get there is a few minutes. The unit had everything we could possibly need. It was very clean and we appreciated that! Thank you and we hope to be back soon to visit Key West!

The first day we walked in we were so excited! The supplies that were there for us to use to get us started! Usually we travel with timeshare and you need to bring salt/pepper, beach towels, Pam, garbage bags, etc. but our unit had these supplies! We understand there was just enough to get you started, but it was great. I realize this is someone's "home" during other times of the year. She left us notes all over to help us out!!
We traveled with family, renting other units, and organized a picnic midweek. Everyone was able to "make" their favorite food with all of the kitchen gadgets that were available in the units.
One thing we did hesitate on was the beach... I guess it is the time of year that seaweed takes over because of the currents and storms. But we did enjoy the pool! -

This was a great apartment. The rooms were huge, the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed except food. The one downside is the location if your going to be going out at night, it's a little far from downtown. It was nice to be right on the beach though

We liked the location.beautiful view.We ate breakfast and had cocktails out on the deck,we walked on the beach in the morning.the kitchen was well equipped and even had spices we used.the only convenience to add would be another towel rack in the master bathroom.

The view was ok, and access to the beach was appreciated - after-hours checking in was a bit of a hassle, to go into town to get the key, then back to the condo, then return a day later for more check-in. The furnishings were just not comfortable. Because of the weather, we stayed in more than we normally might have, and the couch, chairs, etc. were worn and uncomfortable. Nice walk-in closet. Only 1 roll of toilet paper in each bathroom. I don't know if we would return to Key West, but if we did, we would probably try something else.

It was a real pleasure going thru the booking process( thanks Laura), and the condo was more that we expected- a great condo with lots of room . The view from the balcony was amazing, and we had everything we needed to enjoy our Christmas there.
The Grill area was nice with clean grills, but the swamp area behind it was a bit smelly. -

We arrived from Miami one night earlier than planned, which was no problem. Very fast, friendly and professional response. Keys were in the dropbox, you can basically check in any time you like. Great service! The apartment was great too! Big clean rooms, nice kitchen, airco, living room and an awesome view of Smather's beach. Be aware that Smather's is not the best beach around for those who like to get into the water. Lots of green in there. Not everyone likes this, unless you're a snorkel enthousiast like me. The price for the apartment was reasonable, split it by four or five and you really dont pay that much a person. It's cheaper than a hotel and you have more luxury on your hands. Before booking this I read about the traffic noise...it did not bother me at all! It was actually very quiet. It's a quiet block of apartments anyways, so don't expect many young people partying. However if you want to go out, it's only a 10 to 15 minute bike ride to Duval. I'm sure to go there again..and when I do I know where to book my apartment.

We have stayed many times at La Brisa and this unit was clean and keep up but needed upgrading. The original decorations and furniture from construction was still there. It is a lovey place, great views, easy to get around Key West from this location. Not as busy as downtown.

We loved the apartment although there was some work going on which was quite noisy during day. Only downside, it is quite a walk to historic old town. We had bikes so good for us. Would definitely book this apartment again.

We are very happy that these guests will visit us again! The work they mentioned in the comment was just the temporary paving of the parking lot. Oldtown is just a short 2 miles away so someone will need a car or bike if they wanted to get into town quckly. Smather's Beach, one of our most popular beaches, is just across the street.

From the 4th floor, the view of the ocean and all the beach activity is great. This unit was secure, well supplied, had a very comfortable bed, updated plumbing and appliances. The decor is a bit outdated but comfortable furnishings. The edges of the rooms need cleaning and the door lock needs to be replaced. The main problem with this unit is the road noise 24/7--we'd hoped to leave the windows open but couldn't..

My family stayed at La Brisa #403E for a week in July, 2008. When I return to Key West I will rent this condo again! The views of the Atlantic are beautiful. We would sit on the deck and watch the cruise ships come in and out and just relax to the sound of the ocean. Thank you RentKW Vacations for a fantastic vacation!
