OhioGreat House
Left on 10/03/2012 for a stay in September 2012
I shared with 3 other friends on a "girls getaway" . The Family House was perfect for us. We loved the historic element to the house but couldn't believe how wonderfully it had been updated yet kept its charm. It is very clean, spacious and comfortable. We loved having our own hot tub, ate breakfasts on the private patio and also enjoyed wine there in the evenings. The bedrooms are a bit small but have wonderful huge king beds. The pool is right beside the house and even though you share with a few other cottages, it was never a problem. A great place to relax for a few hours. The location is within walking distance of everything we wanted to do including great restaurants. We did not use our car for the entire three days. Also the staff was professional and helpful in all ways. I would highly recommend the family house if you are looking to enjoy a total Key West experience.

LythamWell appointed and located family rental
Left on 09/16/2012 for a stay in September 2012
I would echo the positive comments of other reviewers - a very good choice for up to 4 people as the downstairs bed is a comfy wide sofa but gives its occupant little privacy from those sleeping upstairs if they want a cuppa or shower.
To get shopping essentials turn right out of house and at end of road is a CVS which has milk eggs cheese and other staples.
The Internet cafe on the same road has great coffee and allows workaholics a comfy place to clear emails (shame on me!) At the end of the road are booths to book tours and excursions and tickets for the excellent Old Trolly Tour.
Back to the house - two pools proved useful as they were never both full. The hot tub proved too warm to use until later at night. Take ear plugs and eye masks for the main king bedroom - comfy but noisy air com and blinds that didn't fully black out.
We ate out at the near by Square 1 - delicious! And at the wonderful Tapas frequented by locals Santiagos bodega on Petronias st about 12 minutes walk away. And I have to commend the cheerful service at 'dennies' 2 mins away.
All in all an excellent base to enjoy KW -

Plantation, FloridaI absolutely love and recommend this house
Left on 08/06/2012 for a stay in August 2012
This is something I felt that I absolutely needed to do for anyone skeptical about rental properties found online like this one. I cannot vouch for everything on this site, but I can only gush about this one. This property is exactly like the pictures you see, exactly. It was pristine on arrival. I was so afraid of renting like this because I had nver done it before, but I will be using this company and this cottage/house anytime I go to Key West. I just returned home on august 4, I occupied this location for 5 nights, myself plus 3 teenagers. I don't really know where to start, it was just perfect for us. It is nicely located, we walked almost everywhere, Duval St. is just steps away and several nice restaurants are too. The house is well equipped, Tv's in both bedrooms, 2 large flat screens, one in the dining area and living area, plus everything you need for daily living, eating utensils, plates, blender, etc.
I think it was the perfect amount of space for us. I had my own bedroom, two teenagers in the other, and the oldest teenager on the queen size downstairs. We made use of the patio everyday whether we were using the jacuzzi or just eating outside under the umbrella. Our check in was quite easy and the Key West Vacation Rentals staff are quite efficient and friendly. I love this cottage. Rent it you won' t be disappointed. -

Stayed here last year with parents, wife and sister. Comfortable and spacious for us 5, clean features, cool climate, great hot tub. Only drawback is only 1 bath, so at times we had to use the outside shower. Quick walk away to Duval St, easy access to many great restaurants (our fave was Pisces, best dinner ever!). Parking is do-able for all 5 days we were there. Great price rather than doing other cheap motels.

Left on 11/10/2011 for a stay in November 2011
This cozy cottage is hidden off a quiet lane but a short stroll to all of the action on Duval Street and beaches. There is a bike rental store and a CVS within a half of block. The cottage was clean and very tropically decorated. The kitchen was well equipped. There are flat-screened Tv's in the living room, dining room and bedrooms. WiFi was available but a bit slow-just on island time! Off the front porch is a soothing pond and there is a private patio in the back with a dining table/umbrella and a six person hot tub. Also there is an outside shower off of the main bathroom-a wonderful experience! You also have access to two perfectly heated pools.
All in all a great trip and would highly recomend this vacation rental. -

We stayed at the Family House for what turned out to be a great time for all of us and thats a lot to say for a house full of teenagers!!! All of whom had a fantastic time. ( That they still talk about today) From sunning themselves by the pool and neighboring roof top to being close to the action on Duval Street. The house had a fantastic feel to it and was more than cozy and spacious. We look forward to returning!!!

Left on 07/10/2009 for a stay in April 2007
A group of 14 (7 couples) decided we wanted to make some wedding anniversaries and birthdays special and we wanted to go someplace warm to get out of the West Virginia winter. This group travels together often and we all think this was one of our best trips.
We rented 3 of the "Family House" vacation rentals. We had 1 4 br, 1 2br, and 1 1 br. The 3 houses shared a common patio and pool. The 3 houses were all beautiful and the location was perfect. We walked to everything. I can't say enough about what a great time we had.
This group talks often about the great trip and great fun we had in Key West and that we want to plan another trip soon. There is no doubt when another trip is planned, we will want the same houses we had and perhaps a fourth house which was in the same group.
GREAT HOUSES - GREAT VACATION - GREAT TIME WITH GREAT FRIENDS. .... Thank you so much. -

The Family House accomodation, through Key West Vacation Rentals, was a great way to enjoy Key West. The House was very roomy for the 6 of us, had all we needed, and the house was kept nice and cool. Outside patio was great, with a nice gas grill. The Family House is just off Duval street, and close to everything. The Family House is highly recomended, can't wait to come back!

your accomodation was excellent, very well maintained
and comfortable. the only problem was the location
and some young noisy vacationers in the next unit
making a lot of noise ALL night.we could also hear
the nightclub over the wall until early morning. if
your property was in a quieter location i would no
doubt return. still a lovely place to stay.

Centre Court has lost its appeal. Maintenance was poor (we cleaned the filter basket of leaves daily, there was no chlorine pucks in the basket)there was no DVD player or phone as you advertise - I could go on. We staid there for several years and found the experience outstanding - we returned to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary and found the place not at the quality it was in the late '90,s and early 2000.
Your staff did move us to a more acceptable - but location after a few days and for that we thankyou (still no chlorine in the hot tub).
We will not rent from you again. The Sussex of London Ontario -

From the moment of check-in to our last day in town, the staff made
us feel really at home. The Family House appointments met all our
needs and provided a relaxing environment. From the entry koi pond
to the hand-picked artwork adorning the walls it exudes class and
charm. It is an easy stroll to shopping and dining on Duval Street. We
couldn't find anything not to like and plan on returning again. -

Wonderful place, womderful people! We loved our stay would hope to go back soon. When we got there our cottage was still in use because the people before us wanted to stay longer. They asked if we would take another cottage and gave us an upgrade. We didnt really need the extra room but I liked that they wanted to please everyone. We were very satisfied with all!

I have stayed in Key West for years at various resorts, hotels and private homes but I think my favorite experience is the Family House at Center Court. This is my second time staying there and I loved it even more this year. It's private and beautiful, it's right in the center of everything that is Key West and you feel totally at home there. After a day of the hustle and bustle of Old Town you can walk through the door of the Family House and hop in the private hot tub and relax your evening away. It's a wonderful place to enjoy Key West!

MY FAMILY AND STAYED AT THE FAMILY HOUSE HE WEEK OF JULY 4TH 2008. IT WAS MUCH MORE THAN WE WERE EXPECTING, THE HOUSE HAD EVERYTHING YOU NEEDED AND THE SERVICE WAS GREAT. THE LOCATION IS RIGHT DOWNTOWN AND MOST THINGS ARE WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE, I WOULD HAVE WENT BACK AGAIN THIS YEAR BUT THE FAMILY WANTED TO GO TO SC.
THE ONLY DRAW BACKS ARE THAT THE PARKING IS VERY VERY LIMITED, AND ACCESS TO THE BEACH IS VERY FAR AND THE BEACH IS NOT USER FRIENDLY. -

We had a wonderful time, we come to Key West often but it was Susan's first time. We had the best time. The Family House was wonderful, it was a time we will always cherish. The house and the setting was very nice, walking distance from downtown and really the way to go if you are traveling with a group. The house was nicley decorated, clean and very well supplied with everything that we needed for our stay. Parking is limited but did not cause a problem. The staff at Vacation Rentals went out of there way to make sure we had a perfectly wonderful time.

We stayed in the Family House a few years back -- my wife and our two then-teenaged sons. We had a GREAT time. The house is awesome, particularly for a family. Key West was blazing hot, since it was July, but the house, and the great private patio and hot tub (which promptly became a "cool tub") were like an Oasis after Duval Street. Can't recommend it enough -- one of our all-time favorite places to stay!

Our party of four artist friends were very pleased with this rental. The location was central yet quiet. It was well furnished and very clean, although the house was not cleaned during the week as promised, just re-supplied with towels. Nice poroch, and deck. We did not get to use the jacozzi, but it is there. The upstairs powder room could use a sink. All in all, however, we were very pleased.

Myself and 4 friends shared this cottage from Friday to Sunday during the HD Poker Run. We loved it! It was clean, modern, with plenty of TV's for the guys and it was so nice having a full kitchen as we all love our morning coffee and breakfast. We really enjoyed our private deck with the hot tub and grill. We stayed up very late a couple of nights out there! There was absolutely nothing negative about our stay. The accommodations were perfect and the price was an excellent bargain. We had friends who paid much more for a small hotel room! In fact in 2008 we came back - 4 couples - and stayed in the "big house- 4 bedrooms - 4 baths in the same complex. AWESOME!

We started with a much smaller, cramped rental but KWVR moved us into the Family House unit! It was really larger than what the two of us needed. It was large and spacious and we really enjoyed the pools. We had breakfast and dinner on the back yard patio everyday. The only downfall was that the WiFi was too weak for me to connect to my work computer so I had to bike over to the internet cafe a couple of times that week. This unit is very close to Duval and Truman so it is in a great location! I would recommend this unit to a couple or a family.

Just a few notes about our stay at Family House in Key West. It was a perfect vacation! The house was immaculate and plenty big enough for our group. The location of the home was outstanding. We were one block off of Duval Street yet we felt like we were secluded. The home has a high fence to lend to that feel. The pool was clean and just the right size. The kitchen was gorgeous. We loved the little patio out back with a hot tub and grill. We ended up parking our car during the entire stay and renting one of those cute little electric cars. It was a great and easy way to get around town. We will definately use Key West Vacation rentals again. Friendly staff and very efficient.

We used this cabin for four of us to rendevous from the far reaches of the
United States and found the cabin to be comfortable, tastefully decorated, and
even included many amenities you normally find only at home. There were
tons of clean towels, boxes of tissues everywhere, plenty of cooking utensils,
an outdoor grill, phone, TV, stereo. We did have an issue with the stereo
when we arrived and someone came to swap out the player right away.
Great location (parking was tough on Friday/Saturday night) . Would definitely
