Swanky! Roomy! Great property! Close to everywhere you want to be from beaches to bike rentals and food! The backyard is a paradise retreat! Peaceful and relaxing but close to the nightlife if you want to party and need to walk home:). State of the art appliances and Rainer, the owner, is not only "Johnnie on the spot" but is the most helpful person; wanting your stay to be perfect. I keep coming back to this property time and time, again! The pictures online simply don't do it justice. It's the best value for your money, no doubt, and I know because I researched them all. I'm a repeat Key West vacationer. You will love it!

My partner and I stayed in this charming little cottage for one month and just loved it. We've rented many holiday apartments/houses over the years and this was our favorite so far. It was beautifully decorated, the kitchen had everything we could possibly need (we cook a lot) and we spent a lot of time sitting in the peaceful back garden with its relaxing water feature or sitting on the front porch watching the world go by. We both work from home during the day and there was quick and reliable internet access. Rainer, the owner, was very responsive and did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable. We absolutely loved our time in Key West and were extremely sorry to leave. Would not hesitate to recommend to any visitors.

With last minute travel plans, my husband and I were so fortunate to find Carpe Diem Key West! The house is even more beautiful than the photos and it was exactly what we were looking for. When we walked into Carpe Diem we were intrigued by the architecture of the historic Conch style cottage. The Dade County Pine walls give it such a unique and warm feeling. The furnishings and pacific island-like decor instantly made us feel relaxed and comfortable. We could tell right away that the owner wanted his guests to experience something special and it showed inside and out. Carpe Diem is conveniently located in Old Town, within walking distance of beaches, restaurants, shopping and nightlife... yet far enough away to escape the crowds on Duval Street. We both loved getting up in the morning and walking down the street to get our cafe con leche and sitting on the front porch swing. We highly recommend Carpe Diem and would definitely stay again.

My family and I recently spent the month of august at Carpe Diem in Key West , and it was truly spectacular!
The house is beautiful, well maintained, and has everything you need to enjoy a relaxing Key West vacation.
The house is convenient to everything, Higgs Beach, Duval, stores etc, yet in a quiet and beautiful street.
The owners are tremendously helpful in every way, providing precise information about the area, and attending to your every wish.
We will most certainly be back to Carpe Diem...a true gem in this magical place called Key West .

My partner and I just got back from 4 wonderful
weeks in Key West.
We have been so lucky to have found this gem of a
rental. The quaint cottage is perfectly equipped
with everything you might desire (heat would have
been nice – Key West was a bit chilly this year).
You can tell that the owners did not furnish this
place as a rental but as a place of their heart –
they also must love to cook as the kitchen had
everything you could possibly desire.
The area is close to all the essential shopping and
feels more like “real” Key West, even though it is
close enough to Duval Street and only a few blocks
from Higgs beach (you have to go and eat at
Salute’s there!!!).
We brought our little dog and the dog park and dog
beach are also close by! All in all – highly
recommended!!
