My review is as much about the rental company, Key West Vacation Rentals, as it is about the house. First, the house. Casa Grande is a great property - plenty big enough for a group of 14 with enough room that we weren't always stepping on each other. It is clean, well maintained, and has a gorgeous pool. You can't beat the location either. Amelia Street is a quiet little street and you can't hear any noise from Duval when you're in the house (or at the pool). It's also conveniently located - we walked all the way to Mallory Square a couple of times.
And now the rental company. The staff at Key West Vacation Rentals were beyond awesome (thanks Chad!). We were stranded one night due to the american airlines computer issue. We asked Chad and the staff for hotel recommendations since we had already checked out of Casa Grande. To our surprise, they let us stay in the condos above their office for a rate that beat that of a single hotel room. The next day they even drove us to the airport. They really bent over backwards to help us and were incredibly hospitable. We will absolutely rent from them again! -

We had such a great stay at Casa Grande! The house layout was so perfect for our large group. Everyone had their own space, yet the kitchen/living area was a great gathering space. The pool was excellent, perfect mix of sun and shade. Location was perfect. We had no problem walking down to Duval and back several times a day. I agree that the floors were not great. I wore flip flops when coming in from the pool. Everything else was pretty clean. Great rental!

We had a group of nine friends staying at this house. There was plenty of room for everyone and having the pool out back was wonderful and that is where we spent most of our down time. The location was great, just off Duval Street and we walked everywhere.
Would definitely recommend this house to others. -

We truly enjoyed our stay at Casa Grande and it has set the bar pretty high for future rentals. We were in Key West for the Ragnar Relay Florida Keys in January. The Ragnar Team was made up of friends, but not necessarily all friends of each other. By the end of the trip, we were ready to plan our next Ragnar-cation together. The house was large enough and laid out so that each family could have their own space when it was needed. We had four children under the age of 4 in our group and there was never a worry about noise or them getting into something they shouldn't. As a matter of fact, the sound of a crying baby in the Master Suite did not disturb the others in the upstairs bedrooms.
The amenities were well thought out and very comfortable. We felt right at home in the kitchen and had everything we needed to cook a meal. It would have been nice to have had salt, pepper and a few spices supplied so we didn't have to buy them, but every rental is different. It was nice to have housekeeping daily to swap bathroom linens and they were respectful of privacy. The pool was great once the pool attendant let us know to keep the pump house door open to maintain the water temp to 87 degrees. The proximity to Duval Street and the beach was excellent, but you'd never know you were that close to Duval because of the privacy of the location.
I must agree with the other review about the cleanliness of the floors. Even on day one, we found ourselves with "Winn Dixie Feet" when walking barefoot inside. On the upside, we have plenty of stained socks to remind us of a great vacation!
Key West is a fantastic destination and we felt safe biking around the entire island and to/from Mallory Square at night. Casa Grande is the top choice for a large group rental. -

We absolutely loved staying here. It accommodated our large group and we didn't feel crowded. Everyone had there own bath rooms. The pool was so much fun. You cant find a private pool that size in Key West. Only complaint was the floors were pretty dirty. Socks and feet were black after a hour in the house on the first day. Everything else was up to date and clean.

We were down in Key West for a wedding, so we had a large group of extended family staying in the house. This house fit us perfectly with separate rooms and bathrooms. Having our own private pool right in our backyard was an added bonus. Also having a kitchen and living room made our place central location for everyone that was in town for the wedding. The house is also in a perfect location on a dead end street right off of Duval Street. We were very impressed with the house.

We rented amelia House and Casa Grande and had both our complete families including our boys (2 english bulldogs) along for this memorable time. Thanks for making this a wonderful experience.
