Stayed in the house 1st week of april for our duaghter's wedding. The 3br / 2ba house was nice and comfortable. nice outdoor patio to eat / entertain relatives. Mbr is upstairs in converted attic with private bath. Room is spacious. Downstairs is 2 br's and bath is off the living room.
Upstairs a/C went out and @Home took very long to get it repaired. A/C started acting up during one night, but we could not call until just after lunch next day; no service visit until late afternoon the following day. Can't hold them accountable until we called, but response time from the call should not have taken as long. They said they had to go through 2 service companies to get someone to come out - no reason to doubt them. But as a service comparison, other relatives in a house from different agency had a defective ceiling fan on arrival - entire ceiling fan was changed with a few hours on the day of arrival!Response from At Home In Key West, Inc. - 04/22/2013

We sincerely apologize for the delay in getting the a/c serviced but please understand it is a bit more complicated than replacing a ceiling fan which our Maintenance Manager could have done immediately. Not sure why you couldn't reach us until after lunch the day after it went out; we are On Call 24/7 and make that phone number available to our guests in numerous ways. We had called one a/c company that did not respond so we called another; again we apologize that it took longer than expected.

Wonderful renovated conch house. Did not feel like you were "visiting". Everything provided; just bring your tooth brush. Small ptoblem with pool heater, but taken care of quickly. Perfect location; no car is needed, Roosters wake you up every morning!!! We have been visiting Key West for 20+ years and if you choose not to stay on the water, this is the best alternate location!!! Would definitely stay again.

We loved this home and will definately try to secure it for next year. The home was very comfortable and accommadated 3 couples with ease. The pool was so wonderful with the heated water and the deck was a dream come true for relaxation. The only suggestion is to please get room darkening shades/window coverings for the upstairs bedroom as I will need it next year!This home sits right off of Duvall Street and is just across the street from a fabulous grocery store.

Bahama Dreaming is perfectly located for a fun and easy vacation in Key West. The house is very comfortable with three bedrooms, two bedrooms and a nice living room and kitchen. The best feature is the private backyard pool and large covered outdoor entertainment area.

this is my second time staying in this home. the first time was with my family and children and this time was a girl's trip. it was perfect for both occasions. very kid friendly. cooking out and eating on the patio every night ... priceless! impecabbly decorated and such thoughtful gestures to accomodate. tons of fresh towels available as well as staple food items - salt, sugar, etc. you can tell the owners take pride in ownership. one block from Duval! saved tons on walking vs. cab. Libby was also extremely sweet and helpful, i wouldn't hesitate to use them again!

This house is a very comfortable 3 bedroom. Two bedrooms downstairs (on with queen bed, other two singles) and one large master bedroom with king size bed upstairs. This home is one block of of duval street and a great location for anyone planning to walk everywhere. The backyard is great for hanging out, relaxing and grilling out. The pool/backyard area stays shaded throughout the day so good to escape the heat.
I would recommend this house to any small group that likes there comfort. -

We loved the house and the pool. Pool company came and serviced it and it was amazing for the whole stay. All the bedrooms were great with one exception. The upstairs suite was to hot. The ac unit was working but just couldn't keep up with the heat so we got a big fan and kept that pointed towards the bed to stay cool.
The market across the street does get very early deliveries which woke us several days at about 6am.
I would recommend this house but ask the agent to upgrade the ac upstairs or add a big fan. The main house ac broke down but I called the after hours number and a ac company was out within 2 hours. He patched it so we had ac overnight and came back the next day to replace all the parts. We went to the beach and when we came back it was done. Great job.

Location, pool, decor - this place has it. It is perfect for what ever you are doing in Key West. Its close enough to Duval but you would never know it as its a perfect oasis. The pool and back porch are the focal point and really made the place.

My family frequently rents properties for large family vacations. This property is extraordinary. The location could not be better. The quality and completeness of the ammenities and is high from the furniture to the linens and towels. The only minor suggestions I would make to the owners and property managers is to put a ceiling fan out on the deck area and some room darkening shades on the master bedroom. We used the deck for every meal and a ceiling fan would have been the icing on the cake. As for the shade suggestion, it sure does get awful bright in the morning but some room darkening shades would cut down on how hard the air conditioner worked in the master (which was fantastic by the way...)
This property is by far the best house my wife and I have ever rented. -

Of the many girl trips our group (8 women!) has taken, this by far was the greatest! From making the reservations, to regretfully having to turn in the keys, this was a "dream" vacation. Bahama Dreaming was adorable! It lacked for nothing. It was 1/2 block behind Duval St., where if you know anything about Key West, you know it is where everything is happening, from shopping to great food and lots of entertainment and cool beverages! The private pool with its waterfall, the outdoor grill and wonderful porch with huge table for dining, I just can't say enough about this place. If I had to say anything negative, it would be the parking, but hey, a small price to pay for paradise! The parking spot for the house is ample for the average size vehicle, but we had rented a 15 passenger van, so it was a little tricky getting it in the parking spot...but it worked just fine. We will be returning and we will be renting the Bahama Dreaming home again!

This home was perfect for our family's needs. It was decorated beautifully, like a home not a rental. The staff was very attentive to our needs and were very quick to fix anything we felt needed attention. I would love to stay in this location again, however if it isn't available I think this property management company is the best. We rented Bahama Dreamin for 4 nights during Spring Break with 2 teenage children and had the best Key West experience we have ever had! as a frequent visitor to Key West throughout the years I have stayed in the best hotels,condos and houses.Bahama Dreamin was by far the best stay in town I have ever experienced.The house was private,comfortable and conveniently located a block offf Duval St.in the center of all the action.Yet,it provided a quiet recluse with all the convenieces of home including a wonderful pool and backyard in a tropical setting.The house was comfortably and tastefully furnished.We would recommend it to any family or couples or friends that want all that Key West has to offer!

My over all review was fantastic... This place is laid out perfectly . It's very comfortable and close to everything. The only thing that was troublesome was the roosters at 6am & the proximity to the supermarket because of some of the trucks I heard delivering merchandise at 5am. The location makes up for it, you really don't need your car. Everything is in walking distance.

Stayed here with two other couples 2/11/12 to 2/18/12. Home is more beautiful than photos show. Gorgeous master suite on 2nd floor. All new baths. Everything we needed was there. Mostly hung out on back deck! Pool was warm and relaxing. Perfect location to walk to everything - really do not need a car. Each bedroom has a TV. Central aC worked perfectly. Blender used frequently! Libby @ At Home In Key West was a pleasure to work with.

The house is in a great location, we were able to easily get to duval street and was just blocks from the beach. Many of the good restraunts were close and a grocery store on the corner is very convenient. The patio and hot tub also made it great for lounging around and spending time with friends.

We received very good service. Everyone was efficient. The cottage was clean and well kept. The location could not be beat for the closeness to Duval street, local restaurants,
drug stores and even a small market. We loved the privacy of the cottage and having our own pool to relax in after a day of sightseeing. We would have liked to have cable tv in all the bedrooms. The upstairs tv reception was not very good. It was great to have WiFi.
It would have been nice for the pool person/landscape people to identify themselves to us before walking into the backyard to water plants/blow off deck/tend to pool. We looked up one morning and there were strange men in the backyard. -

Great location and price! House was clean and very spacious. Overall visit was wonderful but there were a few things that could have been better. Each bedroom needs a TV and the pool is shaded almost every hour of the day. I am sure the shade is nice in July but we could have used some sun in October :) The grocery store across the street is very convenient but the noisy delivery trucks start arriving at 6am...shortly after the roosters start crowing at 4am.

We went to Key West with friends to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday and had a blast! We can't say enough great things about our vacation in Key West. This home was just like staying at a friends house. The rooms were comfortable, the house was immaculate, and everything you needed for your stay was provided. We especially loved the pool area, the landscaping gave you all the privacy you could want. No need to rent a car! You really are around the corner from all the action but surprisingly you never hear it from the home (Don't know how that is possible but it is). Also grocery right on the corner is great for staying home and enjoying the BBQ by the pool. We were also impressed with the services of at Home In Key West and would recommend them. We can't wait to come back and would not waste one moment trying to find another home to stay at. This house was perfection!!!

The house was better in person than pictures. It is a great location for all the nightlife on Duval and Mallory Square. Not a far walk to the Southernmost Point either. We stayed with two other couples and they were pleased with the house also. Having the grocery store close is very convient for things you might have forgot or need. I would recommended this house to anyone who is staying in Key West.

It was the hottest temp in Key West in years. The house was located 1 block from Duval Street entertainment. The trolley took you all over Key West and the back yard pool was the saving grace every afternoon. There were six of us and every one went in different directions and had a great time, I would rent Bahama Dreamin again in a heart beat.

Wonderful house, great location. The roosters wake you up early (they start around 5:00am), so if you can stand that, it's golden.
Staff at ahkw was always pleasant and responsive. House was in great condition and well-stocked with most everything we needed.
Deck around the pool needs a little work, but maintenance was on their way on our day of checkout. Othewise, the pool and porch are the perfect combo for relaxing and enjoying Key West. -

Bahama Dreaming is quite unsuspecting from the exterior, but once you enter, and especially once you enter the covered deck/pool area... it's fantastic!
There are some neighboring roosters that like to make some noise in the mornings... but besides that, nothing negative to say.

The house was really great. It was just big enough and the back yard is really amazing with the grill, patio and pool. It did cost quite a lot, but the location made it worthwhile. The rental agency was basically non-existent, and a little forward with their e-mails and payment requirements. Also, several service providers (gardeners, pool cleaners, gas company, etc) all showed up unannounced. It would have been nice to have had advanced notice.

This was our second stay at "Bahama Dreaming". After a few minor kinks were worked out upon our arrival we had a great vacation. The staff at at Home in Key West addressed these concerns in a professional and timely manner, much of it probably having to do with us being the first occupants in several weeks. It is amazing that you are so close to Duval Street but feel like you are in a tropical oasis. It is also very quite given the short distance to all of the action. We will definitely be coming back next year!

Had only 3 days to enjoy Bahama Dreaming. Was very much suited for our family. Close to activities but off the heavey traffic areas. Only complaint would be the local roosters and their early wake up calls. But they are all over Key West.

We liked the house alot... We were not aware of the trash and Rooster issues... There were a few things that were misleading. The pool being one its really a large hottub. Also the Tv's were some of the oldest available. They should really be updated.

This was my second time staying in Bahama Dreaming. You really can't beat this location in terms of being near restarants, bars, etc. Only downside is that this is not a house to stay in if you like to sleep in late. There are roosters everywhere at the crack of dawn, and the delivery trucks at the grocery store across the street are nonstop in the morning. Great house overall, though.

We had the best time at Bahama dreaming the house really is the perfect place for relaxing, soicalizing, eating and chilling out! Unfortunately we had hurricane paula brushing up against the Keys, so the weather wasn't great and my family traveling from the UK don't quite believe that the Ocean and the Keys really are that lucsious aqua/blue/green!! but having said that we still had the best time and i would not hesitate to recommend Bahama Dreaming :)

Great house and great location. The only thing that was slighty wrong was the tvs were small and out of date. For the price they charge, you should have better tvs. But overall, a very nice house. We will be back! Oh and a better stereo they had some cheap stereo system

We had no complaints whatsoever. The place was neat and clean we had plenty of towels and linens. The only thing I can say is while we were there, there was a power outage in most of Key West for approx. 25 minutes, we had no flashlights or candles, we found some birthday candles in the pantry which saved the night, we lit them and sat on the back porch waiting for the power to return. I understand this occasionally happens in Key West so be sure to bring some flashlights or candles. Overall the stay was great!

This was the ideal location for the group I traveled to Key West with. You really can't do better when you're a block from Duval Street while having a grocery store across the street. We had a great 3 night, 4 day stay at Bahama Dreaming in Key West and would highly recommend this property. Not only is it centrally located in the heart of it all, it is right down the street from a great little market. No need to rent a car or even a bike...we walked everywhere. We had three couples and were so comfortable in the house. The pool out back is awesome and we felt like we had out own little tropical getaway right in the heart of Old Town Key West. Bahama Dreaming is well worth it!

The house was great. The mini pool was perfect. Location was great. My only complaint you have no control over. There was a rooster across the street from us that crowed every morning from 4am to 9am. Non stop every few minutes. And the grocery store across the street gets deliveries very early as well. Aside from not getting a lot of sleep - we had an excellent time.

I went down with my family to celebrate a significant birthday. We had a blast! The house definitely met our expectations. You know you are always nervous when booking online, but it turned out great. The home was nicely decorated, clean, had an awesome back porch where we spent majority of our time. It was in a perfect location with a grocery store across the street, Duval street two blocks away, and a yummy late night pizza joint around the corner. Great for 2am munchies:). Highly recommend this place.

Bahama Dreaming is in a good location but needs to have the living/eating space redecorated. The living room sofa should be carried to the curb (college furniture). House was well stocked. The main floor bathroom opens into the living room. Outdoor eating area looks over a lush backyard and nice pool but the eating area is dark and dingy with uncomfortable seating. Service from At Home was good and prompt when the banister on the staircase was shaky and unsafe. I would rent from At Home again but not this house.

Thank you for taking the time to review our home. The living room sofa has been replaced and other improvements are continually made to add comfort for our guests. The eating area outside is a covered open-air deck that allows maximum light and breeze while keeping direct sun out. This is usually an area that our guests use to congregate, more so than inside the home; it is unfortunate that you found it uncomfortable. We appreciate that you would rent from At Home Key West again, and will do our utmost to find a home that more suits your desires.

This is in the CENTER of where you want to be in Key West, tucked away on a small side street half a block from Duval Street. We literally walked to every single thing we wanted to go see. The house is immaculate, the beds are amazing, the bathrooms are perfect. The pool has a waterfall! The grill worked, the kitchen was beautiful. I really can go on and on about this place but all I will say is 5 stars is just not enough. Amazing, amazing find.

We chose this house based on the location - which was perfect for being in walking distance to all the night life. We rented bikes for our daily outings to the beaches and the wharf. The house is cozy, beautifully decorated and a great place to relax...my college aged kids enjoyed relaxing in the pool everyday after whatever day trip we had planned.
Issues with the house are pretty much stated in other reviews - it's a busy street early in the morning (6am) with deliveries to Fausto's (grocer) and the roosters start crowing at 2am. This is mostly an issue for any light sleepers in the house -specifically those in the front bedroom. We bought a box fan for the upstairs bedroom that blocked out all noise ($20 investment was well worth the sleep).
The house is well equipped with everything you might need for "living" - cooking, drinking, relaxing and having fun - though an upgrade to the stereo to a system that plays MP3s is suggested and some speakers on the deck would be a nice addition. -

An excellent property convenient in the center of Old Town.
Attractive and well-kept, the Bahama Street property was clean,
well-appointed and comfortable.
All services were easy to use and the team responsive.
Parking is limited to one space on the property and that is tight if guests have
a large vehicle. Multiple guests in the house resulting in multiple vehicles will
have to use public parking, an expensive drawback. (One should avoid
keeping a vehicle in Key West if possible.)
The televisions need to be upgraded. For as pleasant as the property was, and
for the price, the televisions were a disappointment. -

Rented Bahama Dreaming for a long weekend to catch up with old friends. The house is lovely and the location can't be beat. The pool and back deck are to die for! I actually took pictures of the decorating for ideas at my own home. Had a wonderful weekend and will definitely come back in the future. Highly recommended!

We thought the Home was absolutely great!!!!
Then the weather turned cold, cold, cold, As
we understand it it was the coldest they had
seen in over three years.
Sadly, though, we were left with no heat and
two of our six in the party ended up at the
hospital. Our dissapointment comes in the fact that we were to be given a refund to be
shared by all 3 couples, but to date have not gotten it nor have we been contacted since the initial pledge was made.
Again, we understand the weather is not any one's fault, however, no heat in 39 degree weather for 3 nights and 4 days is definitely not the fault of couples who rent either.
Several attempts made and no satisfaction this long makes our party definitely looking elsewhere for the coming winters!!!! -

We had a wonderful relaxing time in Key West. The property was in beautiful shape. The best feature is the pool. The house was well equipped with anything we needed. There were a few boards on the deck that needed attention. We started every morning with coffee, books, a swim and breakfast pool side. The pool man is adorable. Always a plus. :)
There is one issue with the location. The house sits between two parking lots and across from a grocery store. People come and go and there are deliveries early in the morning. If you are a light sleeper this could be a problem. It didn't bother us because the two roosters across the street already had us up. Night time it is quiet. We loved the house. It was a sunny retreat for 3 sisters to gather. A great family house and perfect location to walk everywhere. -

My whole family stayed here, a total of 7 of us, with one baby. This is not only the cleanest, well decorated, chic and comfortable house that i found, but it had all the most considerate accomodations as well. in the laundry room we found blow-up toys and sand toys for the baby and swimming pool. there were even cards, poker chips and every type of wine glass, margharita glass for every alcohol occasion! it's immaculate and one block from the famous duvall street. we won't stay anywhere else again. the management is as nice as can be and are there 24/7 willing to help you feel at home. it's the first and definitely not last time that we stay in this house.

We had a fabulous time for 10 days in Key West celebrating my husband's 60th birthday with the family. The house was everything we were hoping for via the internet pictures!! Any future renter will not be disappointed. We spent most of our house time on the deck overlooking the pool and had many of our meals there as the weather fully cooperated. This location is great as it is right around the corner from Duval Street yet with the private yard, etc., you never feel the hustle and bustle of the downtown area. Our only glitch was the $35.00 parking ticket that we received for "parking against the traffic". The attorney in me is disputing this as we were parked on private property and not in the street, and in the assigned parking space. Any future renters should be advised accordingly!

The house was so nice. Location was perfect! We could walk anywhere in 5 minutes. Loved the pool but wish it wasn't so shaded. We had to go to the beach to lay out in the sun. Loved having our own well-stocked kitchen and outdoor grill. We saved a lot of money by cooking our meals at home. Would definitely go back again.

I've been to Key West twice before, but this was far an away the best time I have ever had!!! The location of the house is perfect, literally walking distance to everything - the only time we drove was to get groceries the first night. We could even walk to the pier when we went deep sea fishing, and we walked to the dive area to go scuba diving. The entire experience was phenominal!!! Not to mention the fact that there is an AMAZING pizza place literally one block from the front door that closes at 4 am, so it's never too late for a fresh pizza pie!!! I would recommend this house to anyone looking to go to key west, and I will stay here again every time I come down.

Decent, small home with all of the necessary amenities and
close to town. We have rented many places in and around
Florida. This was a smaller home. The front bedroom faced the
road and was quite bright and loud early in the morning.
There was a lot of construction noise around, so, we
had to turn up our music when in the pool. The pool was
beautiful but there were no pool toys. They did supply them
when we asked. The nonstick pots and pans were all scratched
but when we told them this, they immediately came and
replaced them. We also had some problems with contacting
someone to help us with the problems in the house.
Weather was nice. Maybe when the construction stops, it may
be a more relaxing place.
