Great place to stay. 2 blocks from Duval Street. Furniture ok. Truman Annex very clean, pretty, and safe. Check in could be a little more friendly. Was handed a package and told to read to find our unit after an 8 hour drive. Very irritating but first had to find permitting department to obtain a pass to park on the street a block away who was very rude as well as the parking lot was being repaved. It would have been nice to have been informed of this prior to our arrival and given nicer instructions verbally. Overall our stay was great and I would recommend it and would definitely return. Thank you for taking the time to review our home. We can appreciate your frustration with the repaving of the parking lot. Our check-in packet has very specific instructions with driving directions to the home and we noted on the front of the packet that there was alternative parking due to the repaving. Not sure what we could have done to make that a smoother experience for you and apologize for that, but happy to know you enjoyed it once you got there and plan to return.

We had a great time in key west. Bahamian reed was a great ace to stay. We did have trouble keeping the undersized sheets on the bed- a problem others have also noted. Our rav4 fit in the parking place just fine. We have stayed with at home for three years now and find them to be great
Didn't want to leave.

We rented partly during fantasy fest, and it was the perfect location to access the beach, Duval st, and watch the parade without the crowds. This unit was perfect for our family. Spotless, tons of amenities, very nicely decorated, and even roomier than in the pictures online. Will request this place next time we visit.

My husband and I recently stayed in this wonderful condo and it could not have been a better experience. We have always stayed at a B&B; in the past but wanted to try something new. From the time that we dealt with the rental agent to picking up our keys, things could not have gone smoother. You can tell that the owners take great pride on maintaining their property. We found it very easy to make ourselves at home, whether sitting around watching TV or relaxing on the outdoor patio after a day at the beach or the pool. The home also provided a large selection of books to enjoy while we were there.
Another nice feature of the property was its location. We found that we could ride our bikes all the way down Front Street without having to go outside the complex and ride on Whitehead Street which tends to be a little busier. Eaton Bikes was only about 2 blocks away and they delivered our bikes within 15 minutes of my phone call.
All in all, I can say that this was a great choice and I hope to be staying at this same property in May.

We started our adventure back in Jan. 2013. The office of at Home In Key West was very professional. Paperwork was sent by e-mail and we had no problems getting everything completed. Payments were done with a CC. A week before we were to arrive, we got an e-mail and a phone call to ask we had any questions. I thought this was nice touch...however...what they forget to tell you is that the office where you get the keys (out of the lock box) is not that easy to find. Once you find the yellow house on the right side of Turman St...the lock box requires you to think!!! After you open the lock box...the rest is history...(almost). Once you get your keys and directions from the lock box...open them. The top of the first page will give you great directions. At the guard gate the man will give you a parking pass and tell you where the parking space is located. We have a Honda Fit (thank God!) the packing spot for 510 was the size of a shoe box. What was great...our car never left the spot the whole week. We brought food and drinks from home. Was very happy that our unit had a lot of extra supplies, etc...coffee filters, baggies, salt/pepper. If you need anything, right outside the Truman annex there is a small store which has everything you might of forgotten. Now for the unit...Upon entering it was spotless. Can not say anything bad about it the unit except, the masterbed is very hard...you do get used to it after a week.
We grilled almost everyday and enjoyed the pool which was a short walk from the unit. Everything is within walking distance.
The unit is quiet...except the aC unit does make a noise. But you will get use to it! Enjoy! Escape!

Our stay in the Bahamian Reed was amazing. We hade ample space for 4 people. Our back deck was a secluded tropical retreat. I spent ten days there and when I came home I felt homesick for Key West.

Our stay in Key West was just about perfection! One minor difficulty with the Uverse connection, but that was taken care of within 24 hours. Walkable, or bikeable, distance to everything we wanted to do! Extremely quiet area, considering only a couple of blocks from Duvall St. Found the beds, particularly the king bed in the Master, to be extremely firm (actually hard), so elderly individuals may have an issue with that. Might be nice to add a foam topper.

We have been to Key West for several years now and this was our first time staying at the Annex and dealing with this rental company and our experience was great!
Beautiful place to stay. And cheaper than hotels.

We loved the Bahamian Reed condo! The location was perfect for our needs....
close to sailing, snorkeling, old town restaurants...
The condo itself was spotless and well stocked with all the essentials. It looks
like the owners really CARE.
We thought the realtor's staff was the best: friendly, helpful, and accessible.
Even after-hours calls were responded to in minutes.
The gated neighborhood was quiet and safe.
We'd stay there again, without hesitation.
A great little hideaway

Cute 2 bedroom townhouse. Well stocked, clean and nicely decorated. My family (3 adults) shared a the place for the first week in June 2009. We are frequent visitors to Key West (always in the summertime) and have rented from At Home Key West previously. This is one of the nicest places we've found. Stumbling distance from Duval Street (for those late night excursions), close to Ft. Z-Taylor and Blue Heaven rest. Has a BBQ and full kitchen utensils.
Only criticism: it would have been a little better to have 2 twin beds in the 2nd bedroom rathter than having a double and a fold out sofa. Fold out sofas almost never work out-that bar in the middle.
At Home Key West handled everything very well. No problems with reservation, key pickup and even left a 'goodie' for us upon arrival.

My two daughters and their four children found Bahamian Reed perfect for their vacation needs. Perhaps the amenity the girls proclaimed about the most (although they had lots of nice things to say) was the washer and dryer. With little children and busy days eating ice cream and going to the beach, this was a godsend.
My own observations when dropping in to see them was that I wish I was there instead of at our hotel. Bahamian Reed was clean, light, bright and well appointed for everyone's needs and desires....balconies, patio with grill, even paper back books to read.
Our family look sforward to a return visit.

Everything was great with the exception of the Hot Water heater dying on the first night there. We made it through it and there was an adjustment to the rental fee.
Absolutely Fantastic -

Thanks to At Home in Key West we found the perfect location for the 1st Girls Get Away! Everything about this place was great..we really enjoyed the back area patio and cooked out 3 of the nights! Plenty of room, nice decor and literally minutes away from Duval. We rented scooters for part of the stay making it even easy to get where we're going!
The staff at "At Home in Key West" is one of the best I've ever worked with and we are return for the "2nd Girls Getaway" in 2008, however we are staying at a different location this time! But I would recommend both this townhouse and "At Home in Key West" for your next vacation!
