Overall, this was a very nice condo for my wife and I. The view was spectacular and the location quiet. Parking was not a problem and you can walk to most of the southern beaches. Cabs were easy to get and not too expensive if you wanted to get to the north parts of Duval Street for dinner or drinks. The condo had all of the amenities of home including internet and the bathroom was spacious. The staff at Rent Key West was friendly and accommodative. We would definitely stay here again if we come back to Key West.

We found the condo wonderful. It was the deck that truely made the difference. The view, the privacy, the size was amazing. The actual condo was very nice and made our stay comfortable. Would highly recommend this place. Obviously, the 45 stairs can be an obstacle, but it is what it is. If you can physically handle the stairs, don't let them sway your decision. And Key West is small enough that everything is close so location is no factor.

The ocean view is absolutely wonderful, but don't expect too much of the nearby beaches. And remember this unit is on the third floor (45 steps but who's counting!) As previous renters have noted, there are no curtains on the south-east-facing glass wall but that was not a problem for us.
First the positive: really nice building, lovely lanai and clean kitchen area, clean bath towels, clean and convenient washer and dryer. Far enough away from the frenzy of Duval Street to offer quiet relaxation. No problem parking, we parked across the street a bit west of the building. Also, we had to leave due to a medical emergency at 11:00 pm on our last night and while we were not able to do all the clean-up routines they asked for the on-call manager was very understanding.
The thing that brought my score down a bit was the shabbiness, all things that could be easily rectified. The sheets were questionable. There was a stain from a previous renter's bloody nose on my pillow case. The bed cover (brown, not the festively colored one you see on the picture) was also a bit questionable, looked as if it had not been laundered for some time; it had some crusty-looking smudges on it (never an inviting event where 'community' bed linen is concerned.) The glass shower enclosure was pretty smudgy and in need of a good cleaning. I am not one for dust catchers, and the old fan coral and other natural decorative items in the kitchen and bathroom are shabby, dusty, and past their prime.
Even with all this in mind, I think you will still enjoy a stay at Casa atlantica!

Great location and amazing view from this top floor studio. Overall the unit is a little tired but the view more than makes up for it. The four flight walk up should be considered if a problem for some. The unit has all the amenities to make your stay comfortable. Not the best spot for families with children.

My wife said it best: " 'Twas heavenly to watch beautiful sunrises from our pillows." To which I'd add that the location was great; between two nice beaches and walking distance to a few good restaurants & parks (many more by bike or car), with gorgeous panoramic ocean views. Nice comfortable place with interesting decor, spent most of our time out on the deck. Excellent & helpful rental agency. In all a wonderfully recuperative experience.

This is a great studio condo if you desire a quiet location away from the crowd, loud discos, and noise. Very quiet except for roosters crowing in the morning which the locals claim is part of the Key West experience. The ocean view is even better than the web pictures. Enjoy sunise and sunset from the private quiet balcony. The condo is clean, recently repainted, well maintained with all modern appliances. New clean sheets and towels, large clean bathroom with great amenities. Be aware there is no elevator and 42 stairsteps from street level but a great way to get exercise every time you enter. No curtains or blinds however you can watch the surise lying in bed. No private parking but we had no problem parking free directly across the street. The location is easy walking distance from beaches, restaurant, a trolley stop for tours, or for leisurely walks along the ocean or side streets. All Key West sights and attractions are easily accessed via trolly, car or rented bicycles. We enjoyed the quiet relaxing ocean view providing a great vacation.

My wife and I visited here on our honeymoon and really loved the condo. The views are incredible and the location is great because it is somewhat private but close enough to all of the tourist attractions. With that being said, however, the parking options for this condo are terrible. There are only three parking spots located on the street and we found that two of them were taken for all seven days of our stay. If you can't park there, you need to park in a subdivision a couple of blocks away. There are no private/secure locations available to park at. Also, we were very disappointed in the service from Rent KW. My wife and I awoke one morning to discover that workers were using our balcony in order to gain access to the roof to fix an air conditioner. This was very troubling considering the fact that there are not curtains/blinds so we had to scramble from bed in our pajamas as construction workers stared at us. To make matters worse, when I reported this to the office their only response was to laugh it off and tell me that it could've been worse and at least I was wearing pajamas. They did absolutely nothing to get the workers to leave our balcony and my wife and I eventually had to leave the apartment in order to avoid the uncomfortable situation. In addition to this, I found the office staff to be a bit rude when I called them with questions about the location of the lock box.
For my review, I would rate the condo as a 5 and the service/parking a one.

Renting this condo was very easy. Everyone was helpful. Don't bring a car - no where to park. Would have liked some electricity on the deck and some bikes would have been nice. Great area - would rent here again.

The Casa atlantic Studio was worth the money. Sure it was a third floor loft but I wouldn't have changed places. The view from there was awsome. Glenda who lives on the first floor was very helpful on questions we had about the area. The studio had plenty of amenities to take of things during the stay. The mornings were great when the sun came up and you also had a great view of the sunsets.

This studio property was perfect for us. In fact it is our second time staying here. You can't beat the view from the huge deck overlooking the atlantic Ocean and sunrises are spectacular. We rent scooters to get around the island and parking is fairly abundant. Minutes from all the beaches, restaurants, and sights to see.

My husband and I absolutely loved this condo...the private balcony was a great place to have coffee in the morning and a good beer at night after a busy day in the sun. As a birder, this was a great place for my husband who was able to mark off a lot of the birds he was looking for in Key West. Watching the sunrise while lying in bed was pretty great too! We will return!

This is a phenomenal location and our second stay at this property. The property is great and the location quiet, very convenient to beach & groceries, and an easy bike-ride to down-town.
The only criticism I have is that there are no curtains. Due to the location, this is not a privacy problem, but prevents sleeping in as the sun streams directly in first thing in the morning. Really the only thing preventing it from being perfect. -

What a great place to spend a week, it was an amazing spot. The suite was very inviting with wonderful views and a great private deck. Very friendly people lot's to do with all the history and galleries. I fell in love with it... hope to be back some day.. till then I have all my wonderful memories.

This is our second year to stay at Casa atlantica. Love the quiet and watching the ocean. Park next door is known by locals at "homeless park" but we didn't experience any problems. Great effeciency, top floor with private deck.

This was the perfect place for my husband and I to meet during his two week leave from Kuwait. Large enough for the two of us but small enough to ward off others from trying to visit our bliss bubble. The location is perfect - our studio condo overlooked the ocean and the most spectacular sunrises nearly every morning. Within a mile of Duvall Street, we walked everywhere! Loved this place and the service we received from Rent Key West was awesome! Especially when my husband arrived two days early and they opened the condo up to him early! Five gold stars!

overall i was very happy with the rental. I wish it had shades so we were not forced to get up so early since we are on vacation after all!! it made me uncomfortable that the unit did not have a lock on the patio door leading out to the stairway.The neighbors would leave the downstairs door open which would leave us unsecured. there was a grill available on the first floor but no where to sit to eat. The unit was very clean and the location was great!! the lounge chairs on the deck need replacing-they were unusable

I prefer to give good reviews or say nothing. Though, want to say that the view was wonderful, the price was reasonable and we were there 5 nights. The beaches were clean and the Danger cruise was the best! It was our first time to KW though and there was no real welcome information from the Rental Company. After we picked up the key that was left for our late arrival, we didn't hear from them until the 3 day. Now, the dishes, pans and coffee pot were all dirty and we had to rewash them and the floor was dirty. Okay, not such a big deal I know how to wash dishes. A rug or two would have been nice, especially in the bath area so feet didn't get immediately dirty out of the shower. The shower area is small and the biggest thing with that was that the shower floor was very slick and there was nothing down to get a good grip on. So, that felt a little dangerous. My biggest issue though were the area of the condo and the bed sheets. The area was a little rough around the edges (loud music, folks camping out in the park area next door, etc.) so we were a little wary of the crowd that seemed to hang around. We didn't have any issues directly though and there were plenty of police patrolling. Plus, It doesn't cost that much to keep nice clean sheets on the bed and throw a few rugs around. The sheets were well worn and grainy. When I pay to stay in a place if the sheets are clean I'm not going back.

Loved the top floor, end unit. Excellent atlantic Ocean views! Parking across the street was only a problem once when no space was available. Large private deck was the best!
Would recommend having a non-skid surface in the shower floor. -

This was a nice little studio apartment. There were only two downsides and they were minor for us. One: people who can access the building (the outside door does lock) can access your balcony and you cannot lock it, and also then, because its all windows, they could see in. Now while we were there, the place was empty so we had no problems (not sure it is a problem, I just would have been uncomfortable with a lack of controlled privacy). Two: The dishes were moldy and we had to rewash many of them. There is a warning and explanation on the cabinet door, but that was a little gross. Otherwise, a perfect vacation spot and would stay there again.

We loved our stay in Casa Atlantica and as soon as we got home, we were already looking at our calendar to return. The view from the room and the balcony are amazing. We watched the sunrise and sunset every day. We rented bikes for the week and found that the easiest way to get around and nothing felt far away or unsafe riding at night.
We did have some minor issues with the place (cable wasn't working, toilet ran, lightbulbs were out, vanity light in bathroom was unreliable) but we weren't in the unit long enough for it to be a bother.
Like I said...we will be back! -

This studio was more than we could have ever asked for. The floor to ceiling windows allowed for a magnificent view of the ocean. The studio was the most spacious studio we've seen in a while. The area was quiet and off the "touristy" path. We have already recommended this property to others planning a trip to the keys. The only thing I would warn people about is that there are many stairs to climb to reach this property but I promise it will be worth every step!

We rented this room because of the location. We didn't want to be too close to town, so this was the perfect setting. The room overlooks the water and has a wonderful outdoor patio. It is extremely quiet and charming. It was very easy to pick up the key in town and return it when we left. The only drawback is the area where we had to park our rental car across the street. It only takes a small amount of rain to flood the dirt parking area (it is not paved) and many days we could not get into the car without wading through ankle deep muddy water. We would certainly stay here again, but it would be nice to have better parking options.

This property was a simply amazing place to stay. Compared to many of the hotels/motels in the area, this property is a million times better.
The views are amazing, you wake up every morning to the sun sparkling on the ocean-it doesn't get any better!
The balcony is perfect, the decor is interesting and comfortable (a great place to go back to after a long day at the beach), right on the beach, perfect location, just amazing.
All in all, there was nothing I didn't like about staying here. I loved it, I didn't want to leave! Perfect vacation rental...I have been recommending it to everyone!
