Cozy mountain luxury hideaway with a commanding view of the Keystone Slopes from this very special condo.
This 4th floor condo is in Buffalo Lodge. Buffalo lodge is a short walk to the slopes and features the Buffalo Club with 2 slate pool tables, 2 outdoor hot tubs and a BIG big screen TV and fireplace. All guests of Buffalo have access to the club. Guests also have access to the year-round outdoor pool at Dakota lodge which is a short walk through the parking garage. We enjoyed our time at this condo. Had most everything we needed, with the exception of a couple of things. They supplied coffee, but not traditional filters and in the cabinet there were cone shaped filters that didn't fit the coffee maker. Additionally, there are extra pillows in a closet for the sofa bed, and a fitted and flat sheet, but no pillow cases. Also, we had to sleep with the windows open because the room was always overly warm. This was nice immediately after a day in the snow, but became to warm as the evening progressed. All in all, we liked the condo and would return on future visits.

The room was spacious and clean with all the amenities needed for the avid skier - (we are novice but now we're hooked and will be back!)
The room was close to the lifts and transit - we enjoyed being able to walk out of our cabin /condo and be in the small village great for eating, shopping or just taking in the beautiful views. -

Great location! Great views! Well equipped kitchen, nice fluffy towels! The downside... the master bedroom queen size bed was hard as a rock! The chair in the living room was torn and tattered, and the carpet was kinda crusty! Overall the entire condo could use a good scrub down. Blankets for bed could use a good wash as well! Would gladly stay here again, After corrections have been made!

The room was clean and quiet if the windows were closed. It was a little too warm to leave the windows closed so we listened to a bunch of maintenance carts and empty bottle trash being transported from early morning to late at night. The bed was small and very hard, sheets low budget. Not a great sleeping experience. The ice maker also was out of order. There was no ice to be found in the building. The best thing was the view of the mountain.

We had a good time at the buffalo lodge however the bar was right below our window. I think some anxious 4th of July partiers were kicking it off early with screamers and bottle rockets. They were also kinda loud as drunks will be. We got a great price on the room so no big deal and being tired we fell asleep quickly. The place was clean & newer than others we stayed at and the complex has a lot to offer. Great value!

The unit was great...superb location, nice layout, clean, plenty of room, and a beautiful view. The factors that were inconvenient but can be improved upon were check-in and cigarette smoking neighbors. It was effortless picking up our check-in packet, but when we arrived at the garage, our key cards did not work. Calling the numbers provided did not yield any help. We had to find a keystone maintenance worker who let us into the garage. Fortunately, one of our two key cards let us into the room. We could not use the pool or hot tub that evening because our key cards would not let us into those gates or back into the building. No one returned our call and voice messages. The following morning, we had to go to the office and were given an emergency access key card. Someone came to the unit to pick this up later in the morning and we were given new key cards. Again, only one key card worked for the garage, building, and room. The other key card worked for only the room. Though inconvenient, we made the best of it. The only other factor that was annoying was that our neighbors to the right of us were smoking cigarettes each evening on the balcony. We had to go inside and shut the door and window due to the smoke smell wafting into our unit. I am asthmatic and smoke is my number one trigger. So, that was disappointing. These are factors that can be remedied. The unit itself was wonderful and we would reserve it again if the factors above are addressed to make it a more enjoyable stay.

Check in was a breeze as the offices were located within a two-minute drive of Buffalo Lodge at River Run. Heated underground parking was a huge plus as the weather outside was a mess upon arrival. The unit has a nice view of the mountain and there are several dining options and bars just an elevator ride away.

This was the type of skiing holiday dreams are made
of! Immediately from the moment we picked up our
room keys to the condo to the time we checked out,
we were blown away with how thought out the entire
rental service and experience was.
Not only was the condo immaculately cleaned,
wonderfully furnished, and had a view that stole
your breath away but immediately waiting for us
inside the condo was a small gift basket and
brochures answering exactly all the questions we
wanted to know! Everything was more simple and
easier than we could have imagined, and the fact
that the ski hill was right outside our front door,
meant we could get maximum till on the hill.
I could have imagined a better getaway experience!

SERVICE IS OK, HOME IS OK, LOCATION AND AMINITIES IS OK, THE BEST IS THE LOCATION, SERVICES AND PERSONAL ASSISTANT, THE LEAST, NO PHONE AT THE UNIT AND DIFFICULT TO FIND OR TO CALL PERSON IN DUTY OF YOUR UNIT. BUT AT THE END, ITS OK.

We've used VRBO several times, and came upon Sky Run from VRBO. we actually stayed in two condos for our time; our rental missed did not include our first night. sky run found an unrented unit, called the owner, and they agreed to a one night rental at a fair price.
the condos were in great condition and stocked with necessities. the pool was small for the crowded week, we were able to get into a hot tub. parking was below which was helpful. we will definitely use this site for future condo rental needs. A nice feature is discounted unrented units for last minute trips! -

The unit was perfect for our family of 3. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and efficient. And of course the skiing was wonderful. Best trip of the year!
