Great ground floor corner unit on the Dakota pool with slope-side views. Larger than most 2 bedrooms. Remodeled.
This unit (see photo) is probably one of the ones you have looked at and said 'i wonder what it's like to stay THERE!'. It has a large floor plan and a deck that leads out to the pool. No waiting in line at the infamous single Dakota elevator during peak times for this condo, just walk down the hall from the lobby and you're there.
Equipped with an old-school Nintendo 64!

This condo made an excellent weekend getaway. It is just steps away from River Run Village, the pool, hot tub, sauna, and the slopes. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed to make us feel at home. We will definitely be back!

Although this was a first floor unit, the outdoor space was too small. Additionally, there was a lot of light that came through in the middle of the night with maintenance at Keystone.

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. The location on the first floor is great, we can walk right out to pool and hot tub. We are also directly across from stairwell down to parking garage. With this unit being on the corner, there is little or no noise in the hallway. Our only disappointment was the bed/pillows weren't very comfortable. This was the only complaint we could possibly have. We were right in the middle of River Run village- shopping and dining right outside our door. The gondola was only a few steps away as well. Would definitely stay here again next time we are in Keystone.
The service from SkyRun was excellent as well. We arrived well before our check in time, but the person on duty with Skyrun was more than accomodating and got all of our check in items ready ahead of time. Thank you so much! -

We traveled with another family group and chose this unit due to the fact that the Dakota Lodge had a pool. This unit was on the ground floor and gave us easy access to the pool, although not from the terrace as we had thought (and had read - need to leave condo, walk to common area and exit building to the rear, so remember your condo key!).
The unit was very clean, nicely furnished, and had plenty of room for our family of three, and we loved that the dining table seated six so we could hook up with our friends in the evening. The only downside of this unit is that, although we had a nice view of the pool, I'm guessing we were not on the "quiet" side of the building, as on the Saturday night I was awoken just before midnight to very loud music coming from one of the nearby bars. We stayed in summer and evenings were warm so with no a/c, you needed the windows open. The music finally ceased around 2am or so and I'm only pleased that it didn't wake up our young son. I guess if you are not a light sleeper or you are looking for lively nightlife, then this condo might work for you, but otherwise, a different unit might afford you a better night's sleep.
The upside to the condo's location is that we were just a few steps away from River Run Village, which was perfect for popping back for lunch, nap time, etc.
And we just love SkyRun Vacation Rentals. Doing business with them is easy and always a pleasure. -

We really enjoyed our stay while we were there, granted, we didn't get the one that we liked more, but this one did suffice. I will say, however, that we would have preferred one that was much closer to the lake than this one was, other than that it was a great holiday weekend getaway!
