This four bedroom, four bath Key To The Rockies property was built in 1998. The elevator access to the third floor provides stunning views of the Keystone Ski Resort. This Gateway property has provides two different levels of living area and sleeps 10 people comfortably. When you walk into the entrance you will be greeted with tall vaulted ceilings and large bay windows in the living room and dining area. Off of the living room there is a balcony with impressive views in both the summer and winter months. We had a great time. The view was incredible. A bathroom to each room was so nice. The beds were comfortable. Truly a great experience.

We stayed at Gateway Mountain Logde with the company of friends. The purpose of the trip was skiing. The property is good. But I'm more used to the European type of accomodation - when you have a place where to sleep and spend the rest of the day either skiing or in the restaurant. Having said that I couldn't find any place in Keystone which would offer a breakfast included. And for my personal point of view - there is no reason to pay extra for a two-level 4 BR condo with 4 full baths. I would rather save some money not having a huge rental condo and instead of cooking in the kitchen would spend this money in the restaurant nearby. That's just different way of having vacation between North america and Europe.
Little Tip. If you arrive in the dark it's difficult to find th place even though it stays right on the main street. Gps brings you to different place. The place doesn't have a reception. Once found, you'll have to drive back about 5 km to the hotel that belongs to the same system to get your keys.
The place was very quiet. Corridors look like a 3-star hotel. Photos attached are exactly how our room looked like.
One thing to suggest not about this particulat condo but about the staying in Keystone in general in the hight of the village over the sea level. It's over 2.8 km. Many people have difficulties to sleep at nights, high level of the heart beat. It takes about 3-4 days for your body to accomodate the less oxygen level. I couldn't sleep 2 nights and decided to change the ticket and flyed back home earlier.
In general if you want to spent money and don't care about cooking while at vacation I would recommend this place. -

too much water has to run before it gets hot. Not enough luggage carriers available for guests. Upgrades needed inside the unit we rented.

It has the most awesome view. The best we have ever had in our stays here. The beds were comfy and we got a lot of room for the price. The only thing we needed was a couple more large trash bags for the kitchen. One for every nights stay would be great. We definitely would love to stay here again.
I would not recommend eating at the Haywood though. We had terrible service. I think the waitress was either very stressed or on drugs. She spilled our plates, messed up the order, then dropped all the plates when she cleaned the table. Made for interesting conversation! -
