Denver ColoradoBeautiful Weekend at Buffalo Lodge
Left on 12/05/2012 for a stay in November 2012
We recently spent a weekend at the Buffalo Lodge and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We experienced a ton of fun and although we did not ski, we were entertained the entire weekend. The only regret we had was we didn't have more time there! Thank you for a great weekend and we hope to make a yearly tradition!

Highlands Ranch, ColoradoGreat family vacation
Left on 04/17/2011 for a stay in March 2011
Overall, our experience was great. It was really nice to walk out of the complex right to the gondola to ski every day. It was easy to rent snowboarding boots at the rental shop in River Run and the restaurants were good.
It would be nice to have larger ski locker facilities. The one locker we were given was not large enough to store snowboards for a family of 6. Additionally, more blankets and pillows would have been nice in the bedrooms. It was difficult to set up the DVD player so instructions would have been good. The heating unit was very loud when it came on in the middle of the night. Aside from these details, our stay was great. -

Great location for skiing, restaurants and feeling like part of a social community. Condo was quiet, with nice views.
Water pressure was low.
Dishwasher did not function, initially, but a call for service on Thanksgiving Day was followed up with successful visit from maintainance man within the hour. The serviceman was very pleasant. Great service!Response from Key to the Rockies - 02/12/2011

Having the management company offsite is not ideal if you get locked out of
your room (as happened to us on the last day when the electronic key
automatically changed the lock). The Buffalo Lodge was a good location and
overall I had a good experience.Response from Key to the Rockies - 02/20/2010

I appreciate your suggestions in regards to having a property management on site. We do have offices right in the heart of Keystone with 24/7 emergency staff on call for issues such as lock outs. Unfortunately our two staff that live within a short drive were out of town that weekend so we needed to call our on call staff that was a ten minute drive away. Unfortunately, when you extended your stay your keys were not extended as well. That is our fault that the situation happened in the first place and I do apologize.

I rented this condo in Buffalo Lodge through Key to the Rockies for a mountain biking, bluegrass and beer filled weekend. I have been attending the annual Beer and Bluegrass festival in Keystone for the last 4 years. This year was the 13th annual. We head to Keystone to downhill mountain biking, and then we attend the festivities in the afternoon during the weekend each year the first Saturday and Sunday of August. It is a great time but it was even better this year staying right in River Run at Buffalo Lodge. The condo was great and with the sleeper sofa we had no problem with 4 people staying in the unit. Great weekend!!!

We stayed at a Key to the Rockies facility this past summer for our family reunion. Our accomodations were reasonably priced, clean and comfortable. All of our activities, as well as shopping were very close. The village area is charming, with restaurants, shops, and entertainment at your doorstep. There was so much to do in the area from miniature golf to white water rafting; we never ran out of things to do. The staff was very friendly and helpful. This is a great place to stay for a vacation that includes multiple generations.
