Description from the manager
This is our best 1br in the River Run Village area. It's on a corner, slope-side, top floor and HUGE. They don't come nicer than this.
This corner top-floor unit is the PERFECT hideaway perch for a great time in the mountains. This unit is like a home and has lots of room. One of the few one bedrooms with a KING BED, this condo also features cathedral ceilings and dramatic floor to ceiling windows in the bedroom and living room.
Note that there is no LAND LINE PHONE in this property. All cell carriers have strong signals in Keystone, so bring your personal cell phone, or if you don't have a cell phone, we will provide one for you...Read more

MinneapolisGreat Family Get away!
Left on 03/28/2013 for a stay in March 2013
This was a fantastic place to stay! It was kind of it's own get away from the slopes. We could just hang out and make meals and relax at the unit on nights or mornings that we didn't want to go out to the restaurants. The taller ceilings and layout are spacious and the furniture and bed are all very nice, newer and comfortable. It's also nicely decorated and just has a nice feel to it. There is parking under the building and a great steam room, hot tub and heated pool.

Denver, CONice, but invest in the bed!
Left on 02/09/2013 for a stay in February 2013
We enjoyed our stay at this condo. I can't say that it was the nicest place in the world, but reasonable especially for what we paid. I would give this unit 4 stars except for the following: bed and pillows were not comfortable, hard and pillows were kind of lumpy. When the couch pulls out you can't walk around it making the living room not function very well. The bathroom is really small. Overall, though the unit is nice and feels more spacious than other Expedition Station units we've been in.

HoustonGreat New Years Trip
Left on 01/17/2013 for a stay in December 2012
Hubby and I went to Keystone after Xmas and over New Years to ski.
Best thing about this Condo is it has a good location on outskirts of village with views of the mountain and at night, the lit ski runs. Great views of the fireworks on the mountain from the Balcony and living. The dining area has a nice view to the ice skating rink in River Run. Liked the high ceilings, the flat panel TVS in the living and bedroom. Close walking distance to all River Run has to offer and was short easy walk to Gondola.
Condo was nice, clean and comfortable for 2 but originally our trip was to include our adult son who would have slept on the sleeper sofa. Due to an injury, he had to cancel, and after staying there for 6 nights we realized if he would have come we would have been too cramped with the very small living area and only the one small bath. This is supposed to be one of the larger 1 Bdrms that River Run area has to offer and doable for lets say 3 adults or a couple and one or two small children but wouldn't recommend if you don't like being cramped. The bedroom just fits the king size bed and furniture, barely room to walk around the bed- not much room to move around - just for sleeping and watching TV in bed. The living sofa sleeper area is very narrow and small - if you pulled out the sofa sleeper you would be hard pressed to walk around it. The one very small bath - one sink, tub, toilet allows only one person in bath at a time. Condo has really good size kitchen and dining area (which we didn't use much because we eat out) so would be good for those that like to cook and eat in the condo. The high ceilings give the whole place a roomier feel.
Overall a good stay. Disappointed that we didn't get to use the outdoor hot tub, everytime we tried it was filled to capacity with children and teens. This property is more geared toward families than couples seeking a little R & R and fun.

Peoria, Arizonavery relaxing and refreshing
Left on 10/26/2012 for a stay in October 2012
We had a great time in Keystone. We did everything we wanted to do and the condo we stayed in was great. It had all the comforts of home. The place was very clean and had everything we needed. I would highly recommend this place for a great vacation.

VestaviaGreat location for 2 people
Left on 03/28/2012 for a stay in March 2012
This unit was perfect for the two of us. You could probably squeeze 2 small children on the sleeper couch. The location was right were all the action is but without the noise. Everything was within a small walk away: slopes, shops and restaurants. The only downfall might be how tight the bathroom is, not a deal breaker though.

Left on 01/20/2012 for a stay in December 2011
We have stayed at Keystone several times over the last few years and this condo was comparable to the others we have stayed in around the mountain. When we arrived the key was ready, however, when we got to the room it was full of dirty linens and food from the previous guest. When we called they apologized for not cleaning it in time and asked if we could come back in 30 minutes. We called ahead to ask for discount lift tickets but were told they did not have any. Keystone Resort has them as well as tickets for free night skiing the day of your arrival so we will likely book through them again next time we stay. All in all, our stay was good and the location and underground parking were a plus.

Fountain, COThe last trip of the season.
Left on 04/06/2011 for a stay in March 2011
The room was great, but I wish we would have been a little closer to the heart of River Run Village. The best part about the room was the view of the mountain.

The location of the condo is great, the living space is nice, but the bed is uncomfortable and the pillows are lumpy. I would like a better bed for the money!

Broken Arrow, OKGreat condo with nice views
Left on 01/23/2011 for a stay in December 2010
The pictures online do not do this condo any justice. It is nicer in person. The heated garage was a nice place to put on ski boots and then to take everything back off without having to try to walk to your room. It was further away from the ski lift than we thought. It is probably about 21/2 to 3 blocks away. The ski lift area does have some lockers. The only thing we didn't like is that check-in was not until 4. We happened to arrive at 12 so we wasted half a day doing nothing because we had no where to go and you can not really unpack any of your stuff without somewhere to take it. We did come from Oklahoma so it was hard to estimate what time we would arrive. The room was not ready until 4 so no hopes of checking in early.
But other than that it was a great trip and we would come back. The kids did use the outside pool and hot tub. We also used the laundry at the end of the hall, don't forget quarters. -

Port St. Lucie, FloridaGreat view of slopes and neighborhood
Left on 01/09/2011 for a stay in December 2010
This is our fourth annual visit to Keystone during ski season, and our second in a row using SkyRun Vacation Rentals. The service has been excellent and the condos were as nice as advertised, or better. This condo was ready when we arrived and any additional linens needed during our week stay were provided immediately upon request. The view of the slopes and neighborhood from the condo was excellent. We will definitely use SkyRun Vacation Rentals again.

8626 Expedition station has it all! This unit has wonderful views, comfortable and clean furniture, a full kitchen, and a cabinet full of games for the family. The full kitched saved us so much money; we had every utensil we needed. The decor was very lovely and the fireplace/sitting area was cozy. Like most places there were ski lockers and underground parking that was extremely convenient. This place was so close to the lifts that it was super easy to take a break for an hour and get back out on the slopes without any fuss. You can see the slopes from the couch and balcony - the views of the night skiing were beautiful. I will absolutely stay here again.
