Maui Kamaole is Kihei's premier luxury condominium resort and is located at 2777 S. Kihei Rd. at the south end of Kihei. This is south Maui's best location near Kam III and Keawakapu Beaches and immediately adjacent to the luxury community of Wailea.
The low-rise, low-density townhouse style Maui lodging resort sits on the sunny slopes of Haleakala directly across from the beach and Pacific Ocean. Maui Kamaole overlooks the ocean bay with ocean sunset views of several other Hawaiian Islands, as well as Molokini (Maui's premier snorkeling destination) and the West Maui mountains.

It was our first time in Maui and our first time using Vrbo. Phil and Lynn made it an exceptional experience! We were at this condo with our two young children and it was perfect! We felt very comfortable and safe! The unit being so close to the pool, the bbq's and the parking, was very convenient. What surprised us the most was how peaceful the property was, and so well kept! We will definitely recommend this condo to our family and friends. Within an easy walking distance to the beach was also vey nice!

We stayed here in March 2012. We were a little bit surprised as the website pictures hadn't been updated, and the unit just sparkled. The lanai was perfect for breakfast and dinner. Location just perfect. Easy access to Wailea and the Hwy, North or South. Extra beach amenities, and such. Will look to be back and enjoy this setting again.

The Kamaole Sands Resort is a great place for families. Centrally located, with Kamaole III Beach right across the road. The condo was very clean and perfect for a family of four with two teenagers. The pool was a good size and it was nice to have a hot tub for adults only as well as a family one.

I've been visiting Maui every September since 2002, and every time I come to the island, it's as if I'm coming "home" to Phil & Lynn's condo. I've stayed at both the 2BR and 1BR units, and both of the them are very well appointed, extremely comfortable and welcoming, and close to Kihei and Makena beaches. Both units have all of the amenities that you would ever need, and as soon as you enter the grounds you feel as though you're coming home to your own little slice of paradise. I highly recommend these accommodations for anyone who wants to enjoy all that Maui has to offer - you'll be glad you did. Phil and Lynn are fabulous hosts, and their condos reflect their commitment to making your Maui experience a memorable one.

My husband and I planned and booked this trip 3 days prior to arrival just after the new year. Contacted the owners by phone and Phil was more than accomodating and can say that it couldn't have went smoother. Although I wouldn't recommend leaving things to the last minute as most often things are booked up months in advance.
The location was great being on the south end of Kihei and quick access to lots of great beaches, one of these being directly across the road from condo. It was nice being slightly away from the more congested part of Kihei and found the setting to be quiet and peaceful. They are beautifully groomed and fairly private.
The condo itself was very comfortable, clean, roomy and well stocked with everything one might need and more so. It was obvious to us that Phil and Lynn took great care in establishing this condo and would absolutely stay there again. Aside from the condo itself, loved the vegetation, the tropical pool, the privacy and views from the lanai. Hope to return soon! -

We rented directly thru the owners, Phil and Lynn thru VRBO. (VRBO #126587) The Maui Kamaole is located in south Kihei, across the street from the Kam III beach park. We thought the location was perfect. So close to the nice beaches and reasonable good restaurants in Kihei. The condo owners, Phil and Lynn, were great to work with, answering emails very promptly and thoroughly. Their condo was beautifully decorated, had everything we needed, and looked exactly like the pictures on their website. It was immaculately clean, comfortable, and newly updated. It has a/c in the living room and in both bedrooms. It is far enough off of Kihei road that it is extremely quiet. The grounds of the complex are beautifully landscaped. The master bedroom has a king size bed which was one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. The second bedroom has two twin beds. The living room, hall, bedrooms and staircase had beautiful wall to wall light grey carpeting that was so luxourious and clean. The kitchen was beautiful, with granite countertops and new cabinets and appliances. The refrigerator had an ice-maker, so we never had to buy ice. There were several blue ice frozen things in the freezer which were great for throwing in our softsided cooler and taking to the beach. We re-froze them each night, so we could re-use them the next day. The condo had 4 huge beach towels, beach chairs and mats, a boogie board and two coolers. The tap water in Kihei tasted just fine to me... much better than the highly chlorinated tap water hear in Tulsa . I can't drink the tap water here. A/C - We never really needed the a/c in the living room, because we would open the sliding glass doors upstairs and downstairs, and an amazing soft ocean breeze blow thru the condo. At night we did use the air conditioners in the bedrooms, because we preferred to lock up the lanai doors at night.

We stayed at the Erickson's condo in March 2010 and it was especially
appreciated because of the privacy we enjoyed on the front balcony. The
adjacent condos are configured in such a way that you feel nicely set apart,
and yet with a wonderful view of the lower pool and many palm trees. The
owners were especially friendly and helpful as we communicated with each
other to make arrangements for our stay. I've stayed at 5 different condos in
the Kamaole complex, and the Ericksons were the most congenial owners to
work with. I wish them, and future guests, all the best.
