The perfect Get-A-Way right on the beach in Kihei, Maui. Unobstructed Views from the private lanai, the only thing between our condo and the ocean are palm trees. We call it "The Honeymoon Condo" because it is very private, secluded and quiet....the only sounds you hear are ocean sounds.

Unit #227 is on the top floor, corner, of Building "D", which is FULL ocean front. The only thing between us and the ocean are palm trees and a lovely grassy area.
We have a private stairs to our front door and a private, secluded lanai.
Nearby is Elleair Golf Course, Medical Services, Kihei Library, Post Office, Bank and ATM, Pacific Whale Sanctuary, shopping plaza and movie theatres. Very nice super market (The Times) is a short 1 block walk. Fast food and fine dining in the shopping plaza only 1 block from the complex. A good deli in The Times.

Just perfect... not just for a honeymoon!!... Just can't say enough about this place!! This unit is on the end facing the ocean. What a view, especially sunsets! We were there with the full moon in april and it was so beautiful shining over the ocean at night. The area is very quiet, even the beach...perfect for taking a morning stroll. The unit was exquisitely clean and well stocked. Beach towels, extra linens, full kitchen with everything you would need. Great place to cook your steak or fish and eat on the lanai and enjoy the peaceful waves of the ocean. Solar lap pool... so nice! Laundry facilities available. This unit is in walking distance of grocery, drug stores and other shops. Located in the middle of the island provides easy distance to where ever you want to go on the island. An easy drive, about 20 minutes from the Kahului airport. The north side of the island has bigger waves, and the west busy resort area... this is a perfect peaceful place just nestled right along the beach and away from the busy resorts. The grounds are filled with beautiful flowers and foliage and very well kept. This place is the nicest beach condo we have ever stayed in! A great change from the busy resorts,just a perfect place to relax and enjoy the beach right in front of you! Highly recommend.. great place to celebrate your wedding anniversary, like we did our 42nd!

We loved staying at this small one bedroom oceanfront condo. Mornings were spent with coffee and fresh fruit on our lanai enjoying the views. Later we would head to what seemed like our private stretch of beach. We loved the quietness of the whole condo. It was great to have the assorted spices/condiments the owners and other visitors had left behind to assist in cooking. The condo is within walking distance to shopping and restaurants.

This comfortable, affordable condo is only about 25 yards from a secluded and very lightly used beach. It's a second-floor end unit that faces the ocean, and the views are magnificent. The complex is quiet and well-kept, and includes a nice lawn and a pool. A bonus is that, except for a small spot in the parking lot, the entire facility is non-smoking. The one-bedroom condo isn't terribly fancy, but it's clean, the bed and couch are comfy, the shower has instant hot water and lots of pressure, and the place includes linens, beach towels and other beach gear. Wi-fi reception is excellent, and the wide-screen TV has lots of cable options. There are more luxurious places to stay on Maui, but this condo provides all the necessities and offers excellent value for money. The couple that owns it is very friendly and responsive. Highly recommended!

We were very pleased with our whole experience renting this condo for our 1 week Maui vacation. Our host Lucy was easy to contact and we found the rate to be very reasonable (especially compared to the costs of staying in a hotel in the same area).
As a young couple on our first Maui trip, WBH #227 was the perfect place to enjoy breakfasts on the lanai (while keeping an eye out for friendly sea turtles in the shallow waters in front of the condo) and long walks on the quiet beach. The condo was very clean and boasts a well-equipped kitchen. Our hosts thoughtfully provided many beach-going amenities including lounge chairs, coolers, beach towels and snorkeling gear. The location in the actual condo complex is great - top floor at the end of the row, with a beautiful view of the ocean. It's a nice, quiet spot to start and end each amazing Maui day!
Wbh #227 is also ideally-located in Kihei, close to many restaurants, busier beaches, and attractions. We visited the Maui Ocean Center down the road in Ma'alaea Habour, spend a day exploring Lahaina & West Maui, drove the road to Hana and went up to the top of Haleakala - all from our base camp at WBH.

We arrived in Maui after dark , so we could not see anything on our trip from the airport.The next morning we awoke early to the amazing sounds of birds and the beautiful view and sound of the ocean and the Island of Lanai right out the patio doors. The ocean front is even closer than I expected. Before I go farther ... I must say , that being from Texas , we were a bit concerned that we found no air conditioner , with this being the Hawaiian " Summer ". Not to worry though ! With the Trade Wind breezes gently coming through the windows and lanai door ( and the fans in the condo ) the temperatures were very pleasant. And we found that most Hawaiians don't rely on a/C . No problems .
Never having been to Hawaii before ... we found Maui to be spectacular. Travelled the Road to Hana , Atlantis Submarine and The Old Lahaina Luau in Lahaina , Maui Gold Pineapple Tour in Haliimaile , and the " Doors Off " Helicopter Tour of West Maui and Molokai w/ Alexair. Amazing !! Also went snorkeling at Molokini Crater and with the Giant Sea Turtles w/ Sunfire snorkleing from the Kehei Boat Ramp. Great adventure ! Everyone should also go to Mamma's Fish House in Paia. ( Get reservations ) You won't be disappointed .
Wbh #227 is the best location in the complex ... We loved the location and found it to be a nice site to base all our excursions from , and good places to eat in close proximity. Be sure to eat at Maui Tacos and try the wonderful Hawaiian Shaved Ice stands. ( We did every day ! ) Another added value were the Gecko visits in the evenings on the ceiling of the lanai. I believe we hold the world record for seven of the little visitors at one time. They are fun to watch ... and mind their own business :) The pool is closeby too
all in all ... It was a wonderful first trip to the paradise of Maui. We hope to visit again before long and we would definitely recommend #227 WBH. We would love to stay there again ... only longer next time.

This condo is a wonderful place to stay in Maui. It offers both a quiet, private feeling right on the beach as well as being close enough to Lahaina when you are looking for more action. Everything is close by, snorkeling, great beaches, including the one right outside the door. This was my 2nd stay and I am looking forward to a 3rd visit in the very near future!!!

My wife and I stayed at WBH #227 for our honeymoon in late July 2012. We were on Maui for a week and the condo was the perfect jumping off point for all of our adventures around the island.
The condo itself is clean and well stocked. The kitchen had all the supplies necessary for us to cook our own meals (we made breakfast almost every morning).
The lanai overlooks a small grass area and sand dunes that lead to the beach and ocean. We sat on the lanai every morning for breakfast and coffee. It gets a windy in the afternoon which usually calmed down by sunset making sunset cocktails on the lanai, very enjoyable!
The bedroom is nice, small, but at least it is a separate room from the living/kitchen area. An overhead fan is nice as it was over 85 every day were were there. The bathroom is clean and the shower has great water pressure.
We were visited by geckos every night (one was in the condo to welcome us the first day) although none ever got in.
Overall, we were very pleased with the location and condition of the condo! -

We recently stayed in #227 WBH for a week. The condo is located on 2d floor, corner with a beautiful lanai! The kitchen has been redone with granite, new cabinets, stove and microwave--a pleasure to cook in! Updated bathroom--great water pressure too! Bedroom is quiet and serene with a luxurious pillowtop mattress. Walk 20 steps to the beach or 20 steps to a warm lap pool. Location is ideal for shopping and dining nearby. The owner also gave us wonderful tips about local things to do. We loved everything about our stay and cannot wait to return.

Most perfect honeymoon ever!! My husband and I stayed here for 9 days and are already trying to figure out a way to get back in the next year! The condo was absolutely everything we wanted.
Views: Within an hour of arriving at the condo, we were surprised by the breathtaking sunset we saw from the lanai (pictured). After, we sat on the lanai watching the gorgeous moon reflect over the water. Each morning we woke up and had breakfast on the lanai, which was such a peaceful experience. So yes, the views alone are worth staying at this condo, but there was sooo much more!
Beach: The condo is located just steps away from the beach, which had the softest sand of any of the beaches we have ever visited! Not to mention, it was never crowded, and we went during high season. (There are no major resorts nearby!) Also, the surf was never strong, even though at other beaches there were warnings about not going into the water!
Other guests: If we had not seen the other guests at the pool and out watching the sunset, we would have no idea that other people were staying at the complex! It was so quiet and so awesome! This is an upstairs unit, so we never heard anyone trampling around or showering or anything else. And we kept the windows and the lanai door open whenever we were home!
Location: Not only is it a centralized location for all of the activities we wanted to do, it was also near amazing restaurants and shopping. But in Kihei alone, there were delicious restaurants.
Overall: I promise that you will not be disappointed if you stay at this condo, for whatever reason you are vacationing! No, it is not the Ritz or any of the other overpriced resorts on Maui, but with the money you save, you can do so much more on the island and be located right on the best beach! Plus, if you're on vacation, why would you spend all that money to stay in a high-priced room that you should only be using to sleep and shower?! :)

My husband and I came to stay at this condo for a week during august, 2011. The location is wonderful in N. Kihei, close to grocery stores, Kihei Rent-a-Car, the beaches, and an overall central location on the island.
The grounds are very well kept, and the condo was in nice condition. This condo's location in the complex is ocean front, and you walk about 20 feet to the beach. This is a good beach for kitesurfing, fishing, and snorkeling, but a little rocky to be going out barefoot.
The condo complex is very quiet and everyone we met was friendly. We had the music up a little and it didn't seem to bother anybody.
The condo itself was very clean with a number of amenities provided. There is no washer and dryer in the condo, but there is one onsite. Make sure to bring a lot of quarters! There were boogie boards, beach towels, beach chairs, coolers, hula hoops, vacation guides, a small selection of movies, laundry basket, many extra blankets and pillows, ironing board, iron, hair dryer, and much much more. Folks who have stayed behind in the past have left their (non-expired) sunscreen, hairspray, lotion, etc for use of the next guests, which I found wildly convenient.
The only reason I rated "comfort" level a 4/5 stars was because the bed was a little hard. I'm used to a softer mattress, but that's just personal preference. Otherwise seating was very comfortable.
The owners were a joy to work with. Quick to respond to any questions, available via phone/email, very thorough check-in/check-out instructions and directions, and overall very pleasant.
I would not recommend this particular rental for large groups (it's 1 bedroom/1 bathroom), people with disabilities (depending on their mobility, this condo is up a flight of stairs and the beach is not wheelchair accessible from the condo), or people who are looking for a 5-star resort style stay.
We had a wonderful time and hope to be staying here again in the future!

A smallish unit with a superb second floor location. There is a temptation to stay on the lanai all day but certainly for breakfast and pu-pus before dinner, afterwards watching the remarkable sunsets. Well maintained and everything furnished and with much remodelling, including-up-to-date appliances.

We really enjoyed the one bedroom, ocean front condo. The crystal blue water beckons you for whale watching, snorkeling, kayaking, boogie boarding, frolicking in the waves or a tranquil walk on the soft-sand beach. We enjoyed the ocean's many moods to glorious sunsets.
The condo was fully furnished and blended well with outdoor beauty and tranquil tropical ambiance.The weather everyday of our stay was gorgeous. We found shopping and dining within walking distance. We cannot wait to return to tropical splender. -

The condo as great. We had a great view of the ocean from the Lanai. The sunsets were incredible. The condo had all the necessary things to make our trip complete. Beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and all. The owner was incredible to deal with and had great suggestions for things to do and places to eat. We will be back.

We spent a week at Waiohuli Beach Hale to celebrate a wedding anniversary, and it was the perfect location in every way. The condo is right on the beach, and the ocean views were breathtaking. The sunsets were spectacular, and we enjoyed the lanai so much that we sat out by candlelight late into the evenings. It was so peaceful and quiet, we felt like we were the only people there. The condo was neat a a pin, just the right size, and we loved the way it was decorated and how every need was provided for. We were also impressed with the clean, beautiful pool. The owners are easy to communicate with and went out of their way to ensure that we enjoyed our stay at their condo. Truly a perfect honeymoon or romantic getaway. We highly recommend it and can't wait to go back ourselves!

What a great place to spend your honeymoon!(or vacation!!) The condo is very cozy and comfortable, with plenty of items to use when going to the beach or for a picnic. The grounds are lush, with bbqs and picnic tables as well as a large pool. And the views....amazing....We took in the beautiful sunsets each evening, each one more impressive than the day before. We took long walks on the beach that was just a short walk from the condo.
The condo is located in a convenient location with many good restaurants close by, but not so close that you hear all the noise that can come with lots of tourists and street noise.
We highly recommend this condo and are already planning next year's trip! -

We just returned from another 15 days. This is our fourth trip there and will,return soon.
It is all it is advertised to be and more !! My main reason for going to Maui is staying at this condo. We stroll the beach and watch the whales cavort out in the warm waters directly in front. From the lanai all you see is ocean !!!! What can be better?
An older more comfortable condo development, recently updated is always neat and attractive. The grounds are beautiful and the pool is perfect.
We walk most places as it is just such a handy location to all amenities. The Maui Bus stop is 1/2 block away if you do not want the expense of car rental.
I highly recommend this condo. -

kids. The owners seem to have thought of everything. The 75x25' heated
beachside pool is set in a beautiful garden area. One block away from grocery
store, but no traffic noise. Very private. Well worth the price! -

We had a great time at this condo. It's in a nice, low key condo complex. This unit looks right out on the ocean and feels private. They supplied nice extras - we especially appreciated the binoculars. You are right on the ocean yet a block away from a big grocery store and within walking distance of the post office, restaurants, etc. The owners are very responsive and handle any issues quickly.
