S San Francisco, CA, United StatesWish we had more time to enjoy this place!
Left on 02/19/2013 for a stay in February 2013
We had a short, but great stay, at unit #8-110. The location was amazing and condo was fully stocked with everything you need to enjoy the beach during the day, and relax at night. The only issue we had were cleanliness - though kept in great shape, there were quite a bit of small cockroaches in the kitchen (which made me very hesitant to use anything), some in the living room and bathroom. Also, it asked us to leave our shoes off at the door, but the carpets weren't very clean and left our feet dirty. Minor issues in an overall enjoyable stay!
Thank you!

Belvidere, Illinois, USAKamaole Sands 8-110 Cockroach Condo
Left on 02/18/2013 for a stay in February 2013
Although the property management company did try to make amends for the cockroach problem, it became very disgusting everytime you would use the coffee maker, stove, refrigerator, or dishwasher cockroaches would come running out all over the kitchen. The dinning table has a glass top and wicker base, which had fake flowers in the middle, and every morning we could watch the cockroaches race around the table while we ate breakfast. We tried to make the best of the situation by betting on your favorite cockroach, but this soon became old and we just stayed away from the condo as much as possible. I killed over 80 cockroaches with-in the first day we were in the condo and well over 200 in during our 3 week stay. We asked the rental property management for a different condo, but they didn't have one unit that was available for the time period we would have to move 2 times and end up back in 8-110, after they spread for bugs, and we didn't want to waste 2-3 days moving from condo to condo, so we stayed and had them spray for bugs. This slowed them down for a day or two, but they came back just as strong three or four days later. So we got up early and went to the beach everyday, got lots of sunshine, a good tan, and luckly we didn't have bugs in our bed!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kam sands. It was spacious and clean and had picnic items, boogy boards, large beach towels, and beach chairs which we felt honored to borrow. The kitchen had almost anything you would need. The deck led out to a beautiful lawn and fountain. The BBQ pits were close, and we could SMELL others using them nightly. It was comfortable and relaxing and close to the beach. My boys loved their stay there as well. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

There is no charge to use the pool, but the Resort does charge a Resort Fee for parking passes and gate keys.

Our condo was in a lovely and convenient spot. There were a few repairs needed - screen door getting stuck, leaking shower, toilet not flushing properly - nothing that cannot be fixed for the next vacationer. Overall, a lovely experience.

Mill Bay, BC, CanadaKamaole Sands 8-110 Review
Left on 12/15/2011 for a stay in November 2011
The kitchen in this unit was well supplied with dishes and condiments, which was great. However, the layout with a long hall and heavily-curtained bedroom at the back made it quite dark. The furnishings were excessive (too much stuff around), and somewhat drab. The bed had an extra mattress on it that made it so high a stool was required to get up and down so this was inconvenient. The location of the unit was not the best in that it was distant from the beach, there was a relatively busy road outside and there was no view. And finally, a towel rack fell off in the first day; the screen door kept coming off its runner and a hall light went off and made the place even darker.

White Rock, BC, CanadaLarge well equiped condo, great location.
Left on 12/08/2011 for a stay in December 2011
On the positive, this was reasonably priced, spacious, mostly well equipment from spices to olive oil, etc. in the kitchen, suntan oil, etc, etc. Good location. Free newspapers. Recommend ant traps or exterminator under kitchen sink. I saw hundreds of ants. Toilet tissue needed to be purchased after 3 days; tons of VHS videos, but no VHS machine. There was a DVD player and many books. Someone's socks were under the bed near the bed edge. Overall, I would rent the unit again, but bring my own ant traps!

The condo was very clean and the kitchen was adequately stocked with utensils and dishes etc. Loved being across from Kamaole beach II and also had a nice pool. Restaurants and shops were nearby. Parking was easy. Would definitely stay there again.

Property Manager was initially very helpful in securing the rental.
After arrival, I tried to call her and left my cell number on two occasions to request some fixes without response. After finally contacting an office number, they advised "she was very busy"! Problems concerned an incessent beeping throughout the day and night which was not a battery on the smoke detector but a bad water heater water detector battery (in an enclosed area); water leakage under the sink; unusable dishwasher; unusable internet access and more! It all did get fixed however (after four days of repairs) and the rest of my stay was GREAT. -
Richmond, BC, CanadaGreat location, Nice unit
Left on 10/15/2010 for a stay in October 2010
Unit is quite nice, new kitchen but the dishwasher leaks, floor was always wet. Also either the washing machine or shower leaks as the floor there was also wet. Quiet unit & neighbors are nice.I would recomend new curtains for the bedroom as the ones there are very old & hard to keep open for airflow from windows. You could also tell during our stay it had been vacant awhile, it was very dusty. We got a great price on this unit but had we paid full price I would have been dissapointed.

We were pleasantly surprised! There were 4 couples all staying in the same locale- we were the only one who used Coldwell Banker (not sure if that had anything to do with our ammenities) but ours was superb in comparison to the other 3 condos.
Here 3 more rentals located nearby.
