      Perfect location and accomodations

Lovely grounds, great pool and easy access to the beach. Conveniently located to shopping and restaurants. Quiet property. Met a few people that own their condo and everyone was friendly. Our unit had everything we needed and comfortable furniture. The closets were well stocked with linens, beach items, cleaning items and extra pillow and blankets. Very comfortable place to stay; a home away from home.

      A Quiet Complex In Paradise

Left on 04/03/2012 for a stay in February 2012

This is a small, quiet complex with a great grounds and pool; very convenient (walking) to shopping, restaurants, etc. Easy access to the beach; great for walking; o.k. for swimming. When in the complex the rest of the world disappears! Only complaint: like other condos: BAD knives!!!

This unit could use some updating, especially the kitchen and the stained carpeting.

Left on 03/01/2012 for a stay in February 2012

I highly recommend staying at this location as it is centrally located within walking distance to nearby shops, restaurants and grocery store. It's on the ocean side and the unit has partial ocean views which was nice. Overall, I would return and stay in the same complex but stay in a two bedroom unit instead of one.

Great spot. Found some beach chairs and a cooler in the closet--nice surprise. You can't pack those items. Great stay. Quiet location. Grocery store right across the street --I just walked over with my backback. I'd stay again.

      Waiohuli Beach Hale

Left on 01/23/2012 for a stay in January 2012

We had a wonderful experience in Maui. Overall the property was beautiful and conveniently located. The only drawback was the condo we stayed in was in desperate need of updating, it was not as clean as it could be and could not compare to the units which had been updated. We would definitely come back again.

Unit unit 206 could use a carpet update/cleaning & better eating chairs. All lanais face ourtyard for oceanview, thus a noisy complex. Center court causes an "echo" & you can hear everyone talking from the other side of courtyard....thus not always a "quiet" place. The snowbirds come in & are very loud, party, & the silver fox choir doesn't realize how loud they are. I had to ask manager to advise folks how their voices & "so called" singing travels thruout complex. You can eliminate noise by keeping your lanai doors closed, but that is not fair to others who are paying to stay there. King bed & TVs were great (bed & livingroom)& although I had to climb a flight of stairs, I truthfully enjoyed the unit. The heated pool is awesome. I've seen other units w updated kitchens, although adequate, would be nice to be updated. The stand alone air conditioner in living room is sufficient if needed, but requires the "water bin" be dumped frequently when in use. I will stay here again as it is convenient for walking to stores such as Longs, P.O., etc....but the snowbirds are a hoot if you can deal w their noise...& they party past quiet would be great if the party animals would observe the quiet times from 10pm to this doesn't seem to be enforced w silver fox choir the lsst night I was there. Suggest to reserve units closer to the ocean to alleviate the noise in the U-shape section by the center garden...unless you want to sing along w silver fox choir!!

The price for the condo was fair. The pool was fine. Not the best ocean beach for swimming, however, other public beaches were close by. Super market on the corner was convenient for the nights we used the grills by the pool.

The condo was very nice, could use a few more dishes (cereal bowls, glasses,)
The screen door needs fixing. Could stand some upgrade in furniture. The internet hook up is very bad....keeps dropping off . Going in and out.....very frustrating.

This was our second time we stayed at Waiohuli Beach Hale. The location is convenient for shopping and several gorgeous beaches are situated in the surrounding area. In particular, the apartment 206 was nice and comfortable.

Left on 04/13/2010 for a stay in April 2010

We very much enjoyed our stay. We needed to move from one unit to the other but it was done as planned. The one thing that did stand out for us was there was a large disparity between the units. I mean that one unit had an abundance of "extras" ie dishes, fry pans etc and even picnic/barbecue box. The other had very few dishes an older stove and very little in the way of "extras". In both units the beds were comfortable and the living room pleasant. In one unit the fridge did not work as well as in the second unit.

We had a wonderful stay in 206 - we have stayed in the complex before and love the location and overall feel of the place. The condo next door was being renovated and that was a bit loud at times but overall a great stay!!

It was overall a nice property. The view of the pool and the ocean right from the lanai. The unit was clean but lacked some practical kitchen utensils. It would have been nice to have a smaller pots/pans for cooking. Kitchen could use some updating too.
