Left on 01/03/2013 for a stay in July 2012
The condo was great. We spent 10 days and wish we could. have stayed longer. It was just as I hoped it would be and Judy couldn't have been more helpful. You have done q beautiful job with your condo. We used the beach equipment everyday and all the extras were really wonderful. It was a quick walk to the beach and so many restaurants and little shops that we rarely used the car. The two bathrooms were perfect with the kids and a blessing to have a washer and dryer.
We will be back.

Vancouver BCGreat location, great suite!
Left on 12/28/2012 for a stay in December 2012
We arrived to a clean, beautifully furnished suite. The kitchen was perfect and had everything we needed to do most, if not, all, of our cooking at home. The deck is where we spent most of our mornings, drinking coffee, listening to the birds and ocean. This condo is, in our opinion, perfectly located to everything that we wanted to do. Beach, groceries, great restaurants, etc. The pool was a great place to relax too. A great experience all around. We will definitely be back!

Left on 10/21/2012 for a stay in September 2012
Our 6th year at Kam Sands staying in the Wards home. We have always stayed in 6-301 but as it was unavailable, we chose the Wards other unit, not wanting to risk disappointment in another owners condo. 6-304 was cozier than 6-301, but furnished in the same warm island style, with a great view and well kept grounds right across the street from a great beach. We wouldn't think of staying anywhere else in Maui.

Left on 10/17/2012 for a stay in August 2012
I stayed for a glorious week in Maui. My friend and I came for a wedding. Lv the condo.
We were so close to the beach and plenty of places to catch the sunsets. Our place became the meeting spot because it was the best equipped. Judy has everything . Sitting on the lanai & seeing all the tropical plants and hearing the birds (The birds are very vocal) was wonderful. I love the outdoors and was amazed how beautiful it is in Maui. We did lots of hiking, swimming and even did a zip line. Omg - I want to come back soon. -

Perfect place in Kihei. This condo had everything you could want and more. It was decorated so nice and absolutely beautiful! Bob and Judy are the nicest people to rent from and everything went smoothly. The beach across the street is fabulous and walking distance to downtown Kihei. Don't forget to eat at "Freds". Would love to stay here again and we are planning on it! Thanks again Bob and Judy for sharing your "paradise" with us! Mahalo

Left on 08/01/2012 for a stay in July 2012
We enjoyed our stay tremendously and feel that it was a great value. It's so close to the ocean and the trade winds made using the aC a rare event. Judy was very responsive to all our questions before, during and even after our stay. The grills and picnic area were great for hosting my family for a big feed on the Yellowfin I caught.

Left on 07/02/2012 for a stay in May 2012
We stayed in this condo for 2 weeks in May. The owners were helpful before we even got there with all of our questions. The condo was a perfect location for scuba diving, beach and pool access, and touristing around the island. The condo was well stocked and had everything we could think of, even for cooking complicated meals. The apartment was quite cool at night without the air conditioner on at night, which was nice. The unit was layed out nicely and the washer/dryer were quite helpful as well . Reasonable price. Highly recommend this unit.

I cannot speak highly enough of the condo and the professional manner in which business was conducted with booking and follow through. We couldn't fault anything and just loved it.
We much prefer a condo over a hotel room, especially when it comes to washing clothes and having room for everyone, cooking meals and feeling relaxed. It really was a home away from home with everything provided. The resort is family friendly which works so well for our little ones. It was great just to disconnect for a week
We had great runs each morning and really miss that beautiful scenery. It is all a great memory.

Left on 01/25/2012 for a stay in November 2011
We always return over and over because we love it so much.
The enviroment is very relaxing and calming. The condo is big, with all the little things we don't need to worry about bringing. The kitchen is remarkable for cooking with every utensil there to make our favorite family pineapple pancakes. The beach chairs and equipment are great and the kids love the buggie boards.
Maui is the best. Thanks once again for your hospitality btw - king size bed is great.
We recommend the condo and the resort to everyone. -

This unit was just as the pictures showed, nicely decorated, well stocked and very clean. A short walk to beach which is directly across the street. Very nice Weber Bbqs located close to unit. Restaurants and grocery stores are within walking distance. Nice beach chairs, beach umbrella, boogie boards and cooler all supplied. Glad we picked Judy & Bob's condo.

LondonWonderful condo in a wonderful location
Left on 09/13/2011 for a stay in August 2011
We spent 10 wonderful days in this condo in late august 2011. First, a word about the owners: they are truly delightful and very easy to deal with. Booking was not an issue and they were forthcoming with directions, suggestions and even took the time to call during our stay to make sure everything was OK.
The condo is delightful, certainly for a couple on vacation. It has all the mod-cons and, with two showers and laundry facilities, the condo is very self-contained and practical. The condo is also well-suited for evening breezes. There is also a high-speed internet connection, via cable though (WiFi would have been preferred).
Finally, our opinion is that being in the Kihei/Wailea is ideal. You are more or less centrally located on the island so can get everywhere (relatively) easily, whereas other hotel spots such as Kaanapali seem a bit remote if you want to go to Haleakala or to Hana. Kihei town, while not particularly beautiful, is chock full of shops and restaurants which are within walking distance of the condo. And the beaches - especially down towards Wailea - have amazing snorkeling. We counted at least a half-dozen sea turtles just from our own snorkeling along the beach.
In short, if you want a memorable, relaxing and comfortable stay on truly the most amazing island in the world, this is the place for you. We can't recommend it highly enough. -

We had a great time at your condo. I must compliment you on how well the kitchen/condo is equipped. We had lots of good meals. Having coffee on the lanai and watching all the pool activities kept us entertained when we weren't at the beach or pool. Shade over the lanai was very nice. The condo was so nicely
decorated and so comfy that it was very hard to leave. Thanks for your hospitality and insights for our stay in Maui. I will be in touch for our return dates. -

Left on 03/29/2011 for a stay in February 2011
What a perfect spot we chose for our reunion. We spent lots of time planning our get away. Karen found Kamaole Sands on line and this condo. We had a blast! We had great weather (saw lots of whales) and hope to return one day. Judy has it in perfect shape and my sisters all agree that we had the prime condo! We chose this condo based on reviews and so glad we did. If you like Hawaii, this is the place.
Our schedule was very busy - snorkeling, swimming, kayaking ,hiking. Our road to Hana was a dream drive and I really recommend to pack a picnic lunch and enjoy the ride. The most beautiful drive ever. Safeway is good for groceries and Costco of course, but we found so many good and reasonably priced restaurants that we mostly ate out.
Judy was very friendly and helpful with a wealth of information.
Bottom line - You'll love it!

Joan & I stayed 10 nights in 6-304. Outstanding condo, cozy atmosphere, beautifully decorated and good value. It was beyond our expectations and we will definitely come back. We found everything working and a turn key operation. The music Cd's and library of books were a nice touch. Happy to find we could walk many places, the beaches so close & the beach gear came in handy. One big recommendation - bring lots of sunscreen.

We are so happy we opted for this condo. This is our second visit to Kihei and the best part of the island. My sister stayed in this condo quite a few times and has boosted about it so much that we decided to give it a shot. She was right! If I had any complaints it would be that we had to leave. It is better equipped that my home and sure has lots of pizazz. Don't pass it up. We already booked for next year.

I find selecting a condo is a gamble sometimes and I hit the jackpot with this one. It was fresh and very clean with tropical colors. A good combination of comfort and style.
Some of our friends were not so lucky. The resort is huge and it was hard to find the perfect one.
It was refreshing dealing with owners that care about their guests. They were very helpful and made the whole process simple. The resort was also good with booking our snorkel trips & activities. Watching the sunset each evening became our ritual along with walks on the beach.
A pretty good life, even if short lived. A fantastic vacation. Can you send some of that Maui sunshine up our way ?

Our first visit was so nice, we returned to the same unit for a second time. Bob and Judy are congenial hosts who have kept their condo upgraded to be clean, comfortable and well stocked with kitchen accessories, as well as some beach equipment. We love the location, the complex, the pool, the grounds. It is family friendly, and everyone is respectful of others. The rules keep the place running smoothly. It is truly an "island experience" to stay here!

The condo was beautiful. It was exactly what we wanted. Perfect for our family. Since this was our first tropical vacation, it was nice to have the Hawaiin decorating and especially being so clean. Even though it was one bedroom it worked perfect. I think the two bathrooms is the trick. All the extras really made it work. Everyone had high praise for unit. Thanks for all your information and working with us to make this a trip we all will remember.

Our friends recommended the Ward's condo and it was fantastic. Our first time at Kamaole Sands and Kihei. Normally we do Wailea but found this area more "user friendly".
Shops, restaurants all very close Endless beaches for our walking, jogging, swimming and snorkeling. Loved the beaches so much we did not have time for the pool. We saved that for next visit. 100% positive on the condo. Very clean with an island flair. It is supplied extremely well and remodeled very nicely. I can see the owners take pride in their property. Very good value.

Victoria, BC, CanadaVacation of a Lifetime in our Home away From Home
Left on 06/24/2010 for a stay in June 2010
We spent 12 days in Judy and Bob's Kamaole Sands condo, and loved our home away from home. From the cheerful, friendly check-in, to the beautifully manicured grounds and meticulously clean outdoor grills, we were very impressed with the overall management of such a large complex. The condo itself was exactly as described; beautifully remodeled, clean and spacious with a lovely view of the garden and sunsets, and totally stocked with everything you might bring to the beach. I loved having washer/dryer in the suite, and I especially liked Judy's personal touch of discreetly placed cards with instructions on how to work things like the air conditioner or the DVD players. Very thoughtful, as is everything about her. (She called on our second day to make sure everything had gone smoothly, and that we had everything we needed, she truly cared that we had a fabulous holiday)
We loved that the Kamaole Sands is in South Kihei, very close to beautiful Wailea, where we spent a lot of our time, walking on the beachside path, spotting dolphins and swimming with turtles off remote beaches. Everything you need, Safeway, Starbucks, restaurants, were minutes away and most within walking distance, not to mention the lovely beaches just across the road.
We spoke with many people staying in this complex who have returned to Maui year after year, and they all said that the Kamaole Sands is far and away the best place they've ever stayed.
My husband and I were desperately sad to leave and are already planning our next trip back and we will definitely be staying in a Ward condo. Thanks so much Bob and Judy! You truly helped make the vacation of a lifetime.

It's the best
We found our diamond at Kamwow is right! It was hard to leave the condo because we enjoyed it so much. So clean and up to my very fussy standards. The Tikis and all the art work added to the overall feel. We listened to the Hawaiian Cd's and relaxed reading a book after our swims.
It is very family friendly. No wild parties to keep us up at night like we had last time at another resort in Maui. I saw security guards walking the property. The beach even has life guards which made us feel safe having the little ones. My husband did Email while I swam with the kids at the pool and everyone enjoyed the Mai tai party. We Bbq'd, walked to restaurants, and especially liked cooking in our Martha Stewart kitchen. Saved $$ eating in with the kids and I was able to keep up the wash with the washer/dryer. A real island home for our family with lots of atmosphere. We haven't found a better condo on Maui.

nicely decorated, in classic Hawaiian style.
Excellent view of the pool and can see the ocean from
the balcony. There's a washer and dryer and a well

Restaurants, we really enjoyed our stay there, and
hope we can stay there again, we had a really good

Edmonton, ABKamaole Sands - Best trip ever!
Left on 05/13/2010 for a stay in May 2010
We came to Maui for our first time ever and were so glad our friend
suggested we rent a condo for the week. Kamaole Sands (6-304) was more
than we could have imagined. We had a beautiful balcony over looking the
beautiful pool and ocean view and the place was way too large for the two
of us, but we're not complaining!
Whoever decorated the condo made it feel even more like we were on a
beautiful tropical island! I want to decorate my house just like it! Everything
was well stocked and so much thought put in, that we felt like we were at
home and didn't have to worry that we forgot something.
Just across the street from the condo is the beach which was never crowded
and the area was so nice a peaceful and you didn't have to worry about
loud, obnoxious people at the beach or condo. Everyone was so happy, nice
and chilled out, it was a great atmosphere.
We had absolutely no complaints and would definitely come back and
recommend this condo to anyone. We were lucky to have the owner, Judy,
staying nearby and had the comfort of knowing if we needed anything we
could just call her.
Fantastic place, I cannot wait to come back!!! -

My wife and I stayed in this lovely apartment to
check out Maui and get some sunshine. We were very
happy with the apartment, very new feeling with a
great kitchen and deck. Some of our favorite nights
were spent on the deck of the apartment enjoying mai
tais. My wife is a pool fan, so she loved the good
sized pool in the building. I'm a beach person, and
you can't get easier than walking directly across the
street to a great swimming and snorkeling beach. The
owners were pleasant to deal with and very
responsive. A highly recommended condo. -
