The Kihei Bay Vista is a wonderful property. It is located in Kihei Maui, just steps from the ocean. It has a pool and hot tub, gas grills for your use as well as an outdoor dining area. This property is one of the great finds for the price in Kihei. All units are 1 bedroom 1 bath unit so the property has a relaxed and quiet atmosphere about it. The condo was perfect for what we needed, it was clean and had everything we needed. We used the snorkel gear and the boogie boards at the beach and enjoyed the pool and bbq at night. We would definitely come back here!

We really enjoyed our stay in unit D was right across the street from the beach and was very quiet. Both the property management staff and the manager on site were very helpful. The unit has some recent upgrades and was very comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked for utensils but few spices or condiments. Be prepared to buy or bring your own off you plan on cooking. The unit does not have a safe. Would definitely stay in this unit and/or complex again.

This unit is modern and functional especially with the walk in closet in bedroom. Good location with beach across the street and walking distances to town. Everything you need for vacation is provided with snorkel gear, beach chairs, beach towels. We will be back.

We were very impressed with the cleanliness, decor, comfort, and price of this condo. This was our third time to Maui. It's gotten pretty expensive over the last seven years, and we could no longer stay where we used to. This was our first time at Kihei Bay Vista. The unit had everything we needed in the kitchen and throughout. As an added bonus, there was snorkel gear, boogie boards, and beach chairs. We would have rented snorkel equip and boards if these weren't provided, so this was a welcome savings. We've never had beach chairs in Maui, so having them on this trip felt like a big luxury. The condo was absolutely spotless everywhere, and everything was in excellent repair. There are quiet hours posted throughout the complex, and tenants were quiet and friendly. Pool and hot tub were also spotless and well maintained. We'd be delighted to stay here again.

We stayed at Kihei Bay Vista #209 and have to say it was a great place. The location on Maui was perfect since it was pretty much central to everything. The condo was nice and clean and the property management were very friendly. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

Management are friendly and helpful. The grounds are lovely and maintained weekly. The unit itself was very clean and well equiped for cooking. The new owners had done a major upgrade. We had a 9 week stay and very much appreciated the owners paying for a 2 hour clean mid way through the stay, but would have appreciated some cleaning supplies to use while there. The lanai is very large for spending outside time. The down side of the stay was the noise from Kihei Road and the sand and dust that blew in from the beach across the road, which made for often cleaning of the lanai and furniture. Also the hot tub was out of commission for over half of our stay and they decided to paint the outside of the building so our bedroom window was plastic covered for 2 days and then the same for the lanai and patio doors. Thus no cross breezes inside(we prefer not to use air conditioning).

We spent 9 nights here and had a great time. The beach was just across the street. We saw great sunsets from the beach. The pool and hot tub were good breaks when we were done at the beach. Loved it!!

Living room blinds, missing 2 slats.
Living room carpet has several large stains.
Toilet keeps running water.
Wireless internet not secured.
More waste paper baskets needed.
Only 1 boogie board with no rope attached.
Lanai floor should be given regular cleaning.
Sofa bed not comfortable,but just an opinion.
Bedroom windows very dirty on the outside.
Property railings need paint.
Overall the apartment is fine,there are many positives, but I would suggest paying attention to the above suggestions, so things don't begin to decline further.
We think the owners of the unit have put much thought and expense to provide their guest with a quality stay. Mahalo to the owners. -

Will definitely try to stay there again for the next visit! The place was fantastic, exactly what we needed. Kathy Englert was a little... absent-minded and not good at either reading emails or keeping notes about what is going on with which client/property. Regardless, things worked out fine and the place is worth going through her again if I have to.

We found the staff very friendly and helpful. The grounds were done weekly and the pool area was very clean. The hot tub was really too hot and could save them money by cooling it down. Since the units are privately owned there is no standard upkeep. We had 2 old uncomfortable beach chairs. But no umbrella or "toys" for the beach. Our unit was very spacious with a huge closet and lanai, but furniture and bathroom need upgrading. The staff were very cooperative about getting things that were needed such as pots, barbecue utensils, and lanai chairs for the table.

This property was completely updated in May 2011 with new furnishings and electronics. A new king bed and a new queen sofa sleeper were added and the condo was freshly painted.
