Kamaole Nalu Resort is a six story oceanfront property located in South Kihei. It offers time stopping views of the dazzling Pacific Ocean and a friendly casual atmosphere. Adjacent the property is Kamaole Beach, well known for it’s romantic sunsets, great swimming, and seasonal whale watching. Kamaole Nalu Resort offers free parking, oceanfront pool, and a gas barbeque area. Kamaole Nalu is a comfortable home away from home with an outstanding location. It is convenient to most amenities that I needed and next time I will try to get a smaller car as the parking spots are pretty small.
The on-site chick - Patty Law - was awesome; helpful, hardworking and fun.
Hope to be back next year. -

We are not experienced either in Hawaii vacations or condo rentals, but
can not imagine an easier, more satisfying trip. We'll be talking about
the beach access and the sunsets until we go again, and we know where we'll stay. -

Great location adjacent to some really nice beaches. Good snorkelling out front where you can watch turtles and many colourful fish swim by.
The building is older but typically well-kept. This suite was renovated but is showing its age. The kitchen is really small. Didn't think it was a big deal at first, but became quite an inconvenience since only one person can realistically be in it, and that is a stretch.
The lanai allows a nice view down Kam Beach 2, but to see the sunset you need to go to the front of the building for a really good view.
A rather major drawback is that the beds in the guest bedroom are very hard! Our two sons are in their 20's and have slept on just about anything and still complained about the hardness of the beds. Not really good if you are older than a mid twenty-something individual who can sleep on "stone".
The clenaing staff did not clean the bathroom sinks which was a bit of a disappointment.
A good point is that the ali'i staff are very good and handled any concerns right away. -

Beautiful view and within walking distance to restaurants and shops. Kam 2 beach is wonderful. Much appreciated ali'i management professionalism in the check in and check out process. Would highly recommend this resort but the unit itself could be updated with new beds and furnishings which seemed circa 1980.

We had a great week at ali'i Resort. We could walk to get rental equipment and go to restaurants. The grounds are beautiful and next to 2 beaches. The only noise we heard at night was the sound of the waves hitting the beach. There was great airflow in the condo so it never got stuffy. The beds were very comfortable. The only things that were negative: The wifi did not work, the lady at the desk suggested a way to fix it, but the mess behind the TV of wires was unfixable. We brought our own verizon mifi, but we never got on condo 405 wifi. Also the beach equipment needs updating. The beach chairs are very weathered and the straps are broken. We brought our own paddleball set, but had to buy a football to throw around. Other than that I would come back in a second.

We have stayed in several condos at Kamaole, but this one had a spectacular view and served our needs. The staff was very accommodating and made our vacation a real pleasure.

We've rented Room #405 before, so we knew what we were getting. A great condo with everything that we needed plus a fantastic ocean view.
This condo is within walking distance to restaurants and all types of shops.
You can buy your morning newspaper and hot scone or cinnamon roll right across the street .Fantastic condo, great ocean view what more could you ask for.

The location is awesome with gorgeous view. Lanai very small. Having 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms was great. No sound transfer frome other rooms in the building, you only hear outside noises. The windows from adjoining bedrooms open right next to the lanais so we wouldn't use it at night which we like to do. The room was clean, nice couch. Great having a washer/dryer. The curtains were old and stained, shower curtains moldy. Kitchen area extremely small to work in and could use better utensils such as knives, pans.

The beds are getting old. Other than that everthing was

We loved unit 405. Very close to the ocean and the view was wonderful. Unit was very clean and updated. We traveled as a couple with our moms sharing the second bedroom. They are 87 and loved the lanai, where they could enjoy the view if they didn't feel like going out. Lots to do right near the condo, but the best part is the fabulous beach to walk and great snorkeling right outside the door.

It was my 2nd time staying at the Nalu and my husband Dave's first time and we can't wait to go back asap. We loved staying there, the location of the apartments are unbeatable. And #405 was awesome, comfy bed, nice kitchen and a deck that we spent 90% of our time on when we weren't at the beach.
