      Amazing View!!!

Left on 01/23/2013 for a stay in December 2012

What an amazing location & even better view! Despite several maintenance problems everything was resolved very quickly. Excellent customer service from the management company. Wifi was poor but may have been due to the overwhelming demand over the holidays. Don't let the first impression of the exterior fool you this place is a gem!

Right on the water was the best part of this condo

Left on 09/16/2012 for a stay in August 2012

This was our first vacation to Maui. Lets just say it was not hassel free. Ali resorts staff was super amazing to work with but here is all our mishaps. maybe it was just a curse who knows but...Our original booked and paid for condo was not ready when we arrived so they put us in a temproary unit ( which was old and outdated) and was told the condo we booked (which by the way was supposed to be completly remodeled) would be ready the next day. However it wasnt! So they showed us two other condos and we chose to stay in #605 which was further down the beach then our first condo but was the better choice of the 2 they showed us. So on day 2 of our vacation we had to repack all our things and move to another location. Not bad at first so we thought. The plus side was the new condo #605 was right on the water, beautiful view, had air conditioning for those muggy nights, had very comfortable beds and was centrally located. The negetive side- condo was not very clean and as our 8 day stay progressed on things started to break in the unit. Day 3--went to walk into the kitchen to get my morning coffee and slipped and fell. Apparently the pipes under the sink were leaking and water had accumulated on the floor overnight and to my disadvantage I didnt know so down I went. Service guy came out right away and fixed that day. Day 4- I washed the beach towels and went to dry the towels and the dryer wasnt working. It took them two days to fix since they had to order parts. So our beach towels for 2 days were washed and hung to dry so needles to say our towels were very stiff. Day 6 the toliet seat broke. We did not call out the service guy becuase at this point I was tired of my vacation consiting of calling ali resort to have a service guy come out. I will never stay in this unit again. The pots and pans are so old you couldnt cook on them unless you wanted half your food to stay stuck to the pans, tile in kitchen and bathrooms is dirty and cracked. This unit has potential!

      relaxing and restful vacation

we have stayed at Kamaole Nalu several times in the past and we still think this condo rental is the best on Maui. You can't beat the location, the unit size, or the amenities. Unit #605 has a great view of the beach and the ocean but it does need some new furniture.

      Location, location, location

Left on 01/12/2012 for a stay in December 2011

This was our second trip to Kamaole Nalu staying in #605. It has been 3 years since our last visit. We stay here primarily because of its location. The building is situated on the ocean side of the road and overlooks the entire Kam 2 beach which is awesome. The building itself is old and simple. Nothing fancy. We are a bit disappointed in our unit though. We found a glass jar under the kitchen sink that eventually began to smell and we couldn't figure out where it was coming from. At first we thought it was the garbarator. We when looked at the back of the shelf underneath the sink we found it and it was awful, just foul smelling. The other issue was that the sliding screen patio doors don't have the screens adhered to the frame so at night when the lights are on inside the unit, all the little bugs come in and this is usually when you are cooking.

My wife and I have been using this suite each Fefruary for many years. After repeated requests, there have been several minimal attempts at upgrading. The apartment is sub-standard for the price but the view is wonderful which is the only reason we keep returning, until now. A major upgrade in furnishings is needed.

A vacation where you can really relax because the beach is so close, the view is so great, and you have all the comforts of home, like a kitchen. A week of playing around on Maui is so fun!

      Relax and enjoy the beach

Left on 08/24/2010 for a stay in March 2010

Kamaole Nalu is the perfect location if you are looking to relax and enjoy Kamaole beaches. The location could not be better for access and views of the ocean, between Kamaole I &II.; Located accross the street from shopping and resturants we often left the car and spent the afternoons walking around Kihei. On-site barbecues made staying for meals easy. The grounds and facilities are well looked after. There was a yoga twice a week on the oceanfront lawn. There are larger condos on Maui, but we enjoyed going days without shoes or driving a car. The traffic on Kihei road is very busy especially rush hour.

      Best trip of our life!

Left on 08/23/2010 for a stay in January 2009

This was our first trip to Maui as a family. Our daughter was 7 and we were more than comfortable in our unit. The view was incredible. Location was the best, overlooking Kamaole #2 beach and the ocean. Not a day goes by that we our trip doesn't come up and how magical it was. Our unit was well equipped (we were grateful for the beach chairs and umbrella).
