This was our second time at the Royal Mauian, although
at a different
Condo. The Condo was nice, but could
use some new upgrades on the furniture and bedding.
Best part was the location (sunsets and other great
views). Least part, the furnishings, needs new bedding,
and living room furniture Rooms felt "old". -

Unit 516 at the Royal Mauian was perfect in every way. It was comfortable and well stocked with a lovely view off of the lanai. The location was fabulous in Kihei with the ability to walk to many places, and access the beaches with ease. Ali'i Resorts had a quick response when we had a repair issue with the clothes dryer. We would use them in a heart beat and recommend the service to friends and family.

Fircrest, WARoyal view from room #516

The view couldn't be better! We were taken care of by Pat who did a great job in meeting our needs. The decor could have been more updated but we really liked the sliding doors out to the lanai. It was like living outside in the beautiful tropical weather.

Great service by ali'i Resorts. They meet you at the unit at check in and follow up the next day to make sure everything is okay.
The unit is very nice, best view in Maui.
The unit is clean and well stocked with kitchen amenities.
Can't wait to return. Very quiet location, you can only hear the waves. The whales are jumping directly off the Lanai. Unbelievable, sitting having coffee on the Lanai while the whales jump in the distance. -

Ali'i Resorts provided a wonderful welcome supply kit full of much needy goodies upon arrival. We love the keyless entry, although we wish the code could be shorter for us older folks with shorter memories, and the box is hard to see at times. The second bedroom could use some new bedspreads and the couch sinks extremely low when you sit on it and was very uncomfortable. We also were curious as to what happens year after year to all of the pool noodles and beach mats that we have left there over time? Fry pans are not flat on the bottom and difficult to cook with. Now, enough of that, the turtles were everywhere!!! We watched from the lanai, the lounges, the lawn, you just could not get enough. When snorkeling, you could just bump into them there were so many. We have not seen that many here in years. You could walk form either beach for a swim, we even tried the stand-up paddle board this year. You can rent them just across the street. In fact, just about everything you need in just across the street, from groceries to restaurants, to rentals, and clothing and jewelry, all types of shopping, and you just have to walk there. We have stayed at the Royal Mauian for many years and have never found a better place, after all when you have the best...Location, location, location. What's not to love.

We are owners, and were there to oversee a renovation of the kitchen...do you send these out without checking to whom you are sending them?

My husband and I rented #516 royal Mauian for the Maui leg of our trip. We loved it! Terrific location, clean unit, very reasonable price! We truly enjoyed this oceanfront condo. Each morning we had breakfast on the balcony. We were back on the balcony every evening to watch the sunset. And we slept with the windows open so we could listen to the waves crash on the coral below. We also took advantage of the rooftop grill area to cook our own dinner.

You cannot beat staying at the Royal Mauian!!!
It is situated between 2 beautiful beaches, Kamaole 1 & 2
and the view is unbelieveable!!! The alii Resort staff so friendly and helpful. Close to many delicious restaurants. Our favorite, Da Kitchen. Abc store right across the street.
Watched the turtles swim past everyday. Hope to stay there again 2011!!! -

Vancouver, BCVery happy with our condo
Left on 03/15/2011 for a stay in December 2010
We were right on the beach, the location couldn't be beat. We arrived around midnight on Christmas Eve. Christmas morning we looked out the window and we amazed that we literally were right on the beach. We headed out the door and went for a great stroll on the beach. Reasonably sized 2 bedroom. A bit of an older place, but it had everything we needed and we were able to cook a few meals and enjoy dining on the patio. Defnitely somewhere I'd want to stay at again.

We love this property and will come back whenever we can. We loved the location. It's not nearly as crowded or commercialized as some of the other locations we saw. Going to bed every night with the nice cool breeze and hearing the gentle sounds of the ocean was a real treat! Beautiful views from our 5th floor room. Not sure how the week could have been better. Don't hesitate to book the Royal Mauian if you get the chance - you won't regret it!
