We have stayed in this building twice now and each time it gets better. The location and view cannot be beat. The roof top deck and BBQ area are so great. You have to have dinner on the deck watching the sunset. This complex is clean, well run, and has an unbeatable location. We will be back many times in the future! Enjoy.

We have never once been disapointed staying at the Royal Mauian. Even if something doesn't go the way you want it, the manager is always there to help with anyway she/he can and compensate you for it.
Our family will never stay anywhere else in Maui. You cannot beat the view~turtles included, the roof top BBQ~sunset included, all the amenities close by and the amazing beach just a hop, skip and jump away :) The Royal Mauin is always so well kept,clean and feels like our home away from home.
It is always a pleasure to stay here!
My husband and I are planning on returning for our 10 year anniversary in October 2013!
I always highly recommend the Royal Mauian to all my friends and family.

Great location - close to restaurants & shops, on the beach and good snorkeling on the doorstep. Rented a paddle board (harder than it looks!) and enjoyed the warm ocean waves each morning. The surf sang us to sleep every night. Location location location.
Brian greeted us the first day and the condo was well set up with pots, bowls, BBQ implements, dishwasher, coffeemaker, beach chairs etc.
Recommend a rental car to see more of the island (& get groceries) but it would be a good place to stay either way. -

We enjoyed the stay as the location was great. The condo is in reasonable shape but could use some updating.The problem we had was, Ali'i resorts, the company that manages the condo, has no control and will not help control the activities of other guests. The guests below us smoked on their lanai and filled our lanai and condo with smoke. Ali'i resorts couldn't rectify the situation because they don't handle all the units. All lanais are non-smoking.

Excellent unit, close to the beach and strip malls for groceries, restaurants, and shopping. The unit is clean and has everything needed for dining in. This unit has "the best" view of Kamole 1 Beach. And it being on the 6th floor is convenient for Bbq's (they have 4 weber gas grills) and family dinners at sunset from the rooftop garden.

We loved our stay at the Royal Mauian. The beach access was amazing. The pool was small, but never crowded the children loved it. Our room was very nice, the only thing that could have been better is the showers seemed kind of dirty. Maybe it was just the kind of tile. Otherwise perfect. Roof top terrace was great.

I had never been to Hawaii or rented a condo before, but I am almost impossible to please (or so I'm told). So to say I had some trepidation about renting something sight unseen would be an understatement. That was until we walked into condo #604.
The first impression was that this was a well cared-for condo that was impeccably clean. I wanted to find something that would validate my suspicions, but everywhere I turned I was met with one pleasant surprise after another. Every bit of the condo was clean, equipped and upgraded with quality items and furnishings. Even the outside, where you would expect to see cobwebs on the light fixtures or dirty common areas - Nothing! These guys are serious about keeping ahead of things.
The kids (age 13 and 8) loved being able to run down onto the beaches (take your pick, 2 are out front both slightly different). They also like having their own bedroom with an iHome to plug their iPod into. Great insight into the details that appeal to kids!
So while first impressions didn't disappoint, neither did 2nd, 3rd or 4th! Then came the real treat - epic customer service.
Our red-eye flight left late enough to make it worth renting an additional night on our last day that we wouldn't necessarily use, instead of opting for the late check out. When that flight canceled at the last minute we were stunned. On the long-shot chance we might reach somebody at ali'i Resorts, we called. Our distress melted away when we were greeted with a warm and friendly offer to come out on a Saturday night and let us ( wife and 2 kids all bone tired) back into the condo so we wouldn't have to find a hotel with all the other stranded passengers. The friendly voice on the other end of the line made all the difference. The management knows who she is and I hope they know how valuable she is to their company. The epitome of good customer service.
This condo was a fantastic value. I am willing to spend money, but I won't waste it. Whatever the folks at the Royal Mauian ans ali'i Resorts are doing, keep doing it!
If you decide to rent this condo, take good care of it because we plan to be back. -

Our family stayed for 6 days in this condo. The location is great, next to two beaches, close to natural foods store and shopping.
There were two issues we had with this condo. First the hot water was intermittent or non existant. We waited over 30 min to get hot water after a shower which made it hard for five showers. Second the "a/c" did not cool the condo below about 78 degrees. We left it on for 6 hours and when we came back it was still warm inside. Other than these two problems, the rest was outstanding. The sunsets were beautiful from the Lanai and the rooftop area which had four great grills. The beds were comfy and the kitchen though small was adequate. Extra towels and beach chairs were good and the ipod radio was nice. -

our stay at the Royal Mauian was excellent and a very positive experience. we received helpful direction to our home and to accessing teh condo when we arrived late at night on the first night of our stay. the home was clean and pleasant. it was well stocked with suppplies fro laundry, cooking utensils and spices and cleaning a toiletrie supplies.
We had a great view to the ocean, located close to the beaches and shopping, and teh pool and the roof top barbeques and dining space was a great bonus!
i would recomend the Royal Mauian to others who were considering a trip to Kehei! -

We loved this location and your beautiful condo. We stayed in the Royl Mauian last March with 12 members of our family and this February with 2 senior friends. We will be coming back here in December with our entire family for our first Christmas in Maui.

We had exceptionally service from alli Resorts. Our only complaint was the lady at the desk at the condon it self when we checked in and her continues unpleasant attitude during the rest of our 2 week stay. Her demeanor suggested that since we were not owners but were renting through another agency we were not as important as others.
The experience with alli was excellent and would recommend them highly.
The low marks only are because of the representative at the Condo it self.
The location was beautiful. There was a problem with a broken window handle in the guest room and not enough dishes to have more than on meal but we gave those comments to alli on check out and they said they would take care of the problem.
The road noise is sort of bad in the guest room but he master suite and rest of living quarters are great with only the sound of the ocean. I highly recommend ear plugs for the guest room unless you don't mind waking up to trucks at about 0600. -

Thirty years since we stayed at Royal Mauian, still the most wonderful spot in Maui!! Best location ever,between Kamaole Beaches 1 and 2 on the water, lots of great restaurants and shopping right across the street! Rooftop deck with Bbq's a great spot for lunch or dinner or just relaxing. The pool was always well maintained and just the right temperature. We cant say enough about the Royal Mauiian except that we wont wait another 30 years to return!!

I would recommend staying at the Royal Mauian to anyone. When we arrived to our condo we were greeted by the most friendly staff. They go above and beyond! We celebrated our daughter's birthday in Maui (and we really wanted a traditional Luau), the staff at the Royal Mauian took the time to find a Luau that we would all enjoy, and made it happen in such short notice. We were very greatful! This condo was exactly like the pictures, from the rooms to the most amazing views. The highlight of this trip was being able to relax by the water and watch the turtles feed at sunrise and sundown (just a few feet from our condo). We will be coming back time and time again!
Thank you for such and amazing experience, you made our first trip to Maui a succesful one :) -

Upon our arrival Susan was waiting for us. She was most pleasant and it was nice to be greeted by someone so happy and positive after our long trip! The condo was much more attractive than the pictures. It had everything we needed! Our only thoughts were that being from the NW we would have liked a/C in our bedroom but there was a/C in the livingroom. The location was right in the middle of several restaurants, stores. Being on the beach was super...it was so great to have the ocean right there...we could always see it from the kitchen and livingroom and our bedroom. The best part was being on the beach and feeling like we were at home!
Our only negative was that the unit needs to have the windows/screens updated as the screens did not fit properly and so we could not have the windows open in the kitchen and kids' room and several latches were broken on some of the windows in the masterbedroom so they could not be opened but it had a sliding door so that was fine along with ceiling fan. -

I was disappointed with the overall property. The location was very noisy with alot of traffic. Did not expect it to be on such a busy street. Also expected to have clean linen and towels but we were required to do the laundry. Furniture provided on the balcony was very uncomfortable and did not make it a welcome spot to sit. I would rate it a three star at best.
