Maui's best kept secret. Located steps away from Waiohuli Beach. Great ocean views, specatular sunsets and a great sandy beach for those magnificent walks!
Come explore this tropical complex which is centrally located in Kihei in a quiet residential area right off of South Kihei Road. Kihei Garden Estates is a small complex with 84 units. There are 20 units in our building with two floors, and we are located on the second floor. There are no elevators as each set of stairs will go directly to the condo. The stairs are low rising and wide. Parking is lighted and is located on the side of each building, so it is very close.

This condo in Maui was amazing. It was great to have a 'home' base for all of our Maui activities and it was excellent for our young son. We were able to use the pool area everyday after sightseeing and going to the beach. Melanie has the condo well supplied with everything you need for the beach.
Also, it was nice to have the grocery store just a minute walk away. The location in Kihea was great as well - close to all of the south Maui beaches.
We only wish we could have stayed longer! -

We loved staying here and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, elegantly updated, fully furnished, very clean & organized condo near the beach. It was spacious and everyone had a place to call their own when they wanted privacy or to watch TV.
We lacked for nothing as Melanie has thought of everything! Our beds were all comfortably firm, the kitchen nicely stocked (condiments and some spices), the showers strong & hot, the beach closet loaded, the internet connection very fast, the residents were friendly and the drinking water delicious right from the tap (unlike the water in our previous condo in Maalaea.)
Melanie was amazing to work with. When we had some issues with remodelers working below us, Melanie quickly addressed it and Tavita the manager was at our doorstep to apologize. Melanie returned every email promptly and included receipts for our deposits and rental payment. (She puts rental agencies to shame!) I could go on and on about our stay at Kihei Garden Estates #C203 and the wonderful owners, but that would only hold you up to make your reservation.
We can't wait to go back and stay here again. Mahalo Melanie and Dale for letting us enjoy your home in paradise! God bless you!

We have six people - four adults and two kids staying in this condo for two nights. The place is very clean. The TVs and home theatres are high-quality. The kitchen is well equipped and the Times supermarket is just one block away, so it is very easy to buy the groceries you want. From the balcony, you can see a piece of the ocean and it is only 5 minutes' walk to the beach. I wish the beach could be maintained better, i.e., somebody cleaned up all the seaweed all over the beach. The property is centrally located in Kihei and a short distance drive to the Wailea beach, which is a favorite spot for locals and visitors.

Mahalo! We are happy to hear our condo worked well for you! This beach area is five miles long, and yes, seaweed will be occasionally washed ashore, as this depends on the tide, just like it occurs elsewhere around the island. What the ocean tides bring to the shore, the ocean tides bring back! This is just nature doing its thing! This area, which is more of a protected area, is where many cow (mother) whales will give birth to their calves (baby) whales. So...take a nice long walk on this stretch of beach, and look for those whale blows when they are here visiting the beautiful island of Maui!

We are a family from Vancouver, Canada and rented this lovely apartment in early august 2012.
The apartment was in a great location, close to many great beaches, Lahaina for shopping, trips to the crater and more. The kids liked it because the complex had a pool and when it got windy in the afternoon, they could hang out there.
The communication with the owner was excellent and the apartment was outfitted with everything you could possibly need, including beach stuff like boogie boards, coolers etc. We would love to come back to Maui sometime soon after having had such a great vacation here!

Melanie & Dale have gone above & beyond to make sure that their condo has everything a person could want or need while in paradise. I will definetly be back. I traveled with 3 other women & we were always amazed with the comfort & easy access to evrything we could ask for . Will definetly reccommend this condo to everyone I know. My family visited Maui late august. My wife and I had visited Maui before but this time we were bringing couple of extra little ones and my parents. We decided to get a vacation rental instead as it will keep everyone together. Searching on Tripadvisor, we found this great rental in Kihei. We have never rented a vacation homes so we were not exactly sure what we have to do or what to expect. Well, Melanie (the owner) was very easy to work with. She was easy to contact, gave us all the information we need, directions, phone numbers, etc.
Well, the day finally arrived and we flew to Maui from the Mainland. We got our rental car and off we went to the rental place. The place was easy to find with Melanie's directions.
Once we got there, we followed Melanie's instructions to get the keys. It was easy. Once inside, it was a relief to find that it was exactly as you see in the photos on Tripadvisor. The place was clean, the bathrooms clean, kitchen clean and well equipped, and the furniture just like you see them in the photos. Wi-Fi set up was easy and as instructed. We felt "at home" very quickly.
This rental place is very close to some restaurants, super market, drug stores, and a flea market. They are all a walk away. One of the things I most remembered was getting Kona coffee and creamer at the market and made it every morning with the coffee maker in the rental place, another great amenity offered by Melanie. Sipping the coffee in the Lanai (porch) was memorable as the cool morning breeze and sky slowly brighten up the ocean in which you can see from the Lanai.
The rental place is quiet and we had access to the pool that our little ones loved since the ocean was a little strong for them. The BBQ is there for everyone to use.
The week went by fast and we felt "cozy" by the end of the trip. Thanks to Melanie and the rental place, our Maui trip was one of our best family vacations. -

Great location. The condo was perfect. Very clean and comfortable. Everything you need for a beach vacation is provided. Melanie is easy to deal with and very accommodating. We would definately stay there again.

I rented this one because it didn't have the cheesy tropical-everything decorations. I couldn't have been more pleased with the condition of this rental - spotlessly clean, comfortable, good location. The beds are firm but totally sleep-able, located right next to a great little grocery store and within a block of the *best* fish tacos I've ever eaten...you must go to Coconut's Fish Cafe if you're in Kihei. Awesome. The beach was less than half a block away from the condo, although while we were there, there was a lot of algae on the beach which was not very appealing. We ended up going south to Wailea and Makena for the most awesome beaches, only a short 10-15 minute drive. Oh, and Melanie was wonderful to work with - responded to emails and returned phone calls promptly, delivered everything she promised.

Depending on the tide, algae will come ashore along this shore line, from Central Kihei, which is where we are located, to the North Kihei shore line area. We are also just under two miles to Kama'ole 1, 11 and 111 Beaches, so it is just a matter of a few minutes to get to the most popular Kihei beaches, and yet you are able to maintain being in a quiet area and not by the condos that are side by side. As it was mentioned, Wailea and Makena do have awesome beaches and are a short drive away. We encourage all to explore the many beautiful beaches that Maui has to offer!

The condo is amazingly well equipped and very organized. It has all the amenities and extras you could possibly ask for -- from beach umbrellas to coolers and boogie boards to beach towels. The condo is very neat -- everything is organized and labeled so you can be sure to put everything back where you found it.
We liked the layout of the condo and the view from the lanai was great. We really could not have asked for more. The wireless internet access was an added bonus.
The condo is in a nice location - we prefer to spend most of our time on Maui in the Kihei area. Just a quick jaunt to Wailea for some exquisite snorkeling or up to Lahaina to walk through the shops and enjoy more of Maui.
The pool area was awesome -- they have a fully equipped kitchen and two bbq's for your use. We had dinner poolside a few times.
