We just completed our kitchen and bathroom renovation in September 2012.
Kihei Surfside complex is located on the ocean-side of South Kihei Rd at the southern most end of Kihei; just before the beautiful Wailea community. You are right on the ocean - no roads to cross!! Our condo #405 has a gorgeous unobstructed oceanfront view of Maui's south shore, the West Maui mountains and the island of Lanai.

We spent a lovely week in Kihei Surfside 405! The condo could not be situated more perfectly or more beautifully decorated. Everything we needed to make our stay comfortable was in the condo. The kitchen was a newly renovated dream!
Particularly helpful was the binder of information Cara provides with tips and recommendations for shops and restaurants nearby, one of the perks of the condo owner living on Maui. Her blog is a fun read [----] with lots of info of things to do on Maui and tips on getting specials, which we used to plan trips to the Maui Ocean Centre, stargazing at Makena Resort and snorkelling!
The beach right out front of the condo is where we spent most of our time. It was convenient for the condo to be situated right on the oceanfront, and there is a snorkelling rental place right next door at Mana Kai. When we snorkelled we saw eels, clown and trumpet fish, humuhumunukunukuapua'a and two sea turtles! That was definitely the highlight of the trip!

My wife and I spent 7 nights at 405 and loved every moment.Location,value,and the actual unit were all exceptional.Only regret was we should of booked 2weeks! next time as we now know our way around Maui.Mahalo Cara and Sig. Paul and Beth, Nelson NewZealand.

The views from the condo are awesome. All required amenities in this condo are immaculate. The location was excellent, next to the beach and close to great restaurants.

Had a great time in Maui & Kihei Surfside 405, breathtaking views blue water, listen to the waves hit the rock, great beach steps away. The suite was very clean and had no issues. Great experience will be back. We enjoyed mountain biking, zipline, body boarding, beach relaxing & and lots of eating great tuna.
