Welcome to one of the best Kihei complexes --Kihei Alii Kai. The complex was built on a hill, so our first floor apartment, besides facing well maintained green area, also has partial ocean view. Exceptionally quite. Huge lanai. Bamboo floors, new fridge, new full size washer and drier, AC, ceiling fans, platform bed, furniture. The apartment stays cool year round so AC is rarely needed.
Full Kitchen with microwave, toaster, coffee maker. One bath.
In the apartment you will find Cable TV, High Speed Internet with WiFi, 42 LCD TV, DVD player, stereo system, PC, printer and computer desk.

We stayed here for 1 week at the beginning of Feb 2013.
The condo is on the ground floor with easy access. Plenty of space, not brand-new, but well maintained. Good kitchen appliances. Clean (and easy to keep clean thanks to the bamboo laminate flooring). Nice audio/video/TV equipment. Patio is covered (facing SWW with a sliver of ocean visible), and you can walk straight out onto the lawn/grounds (which was nice for our 3-yr old). It is quiet at nights. A nice aspect of the condo was that is seems to stay relatively cool even during the day. We did not use the aC much, mostly left the door open (it has a security screen).
The interior color in the living area (a red wine-ish pastel red) may not be to everyone's taste, but it does go fairly well with the decor.
The condo is located at the south end of the Kihei area (Kamaole 2 Beach park). You can walk to plenty of restaurants and small malls along the main road. Shopping centers (Foodland, Safeway, etc.) are within short driving distance. Walking to the beach takes less than 5 minutes, it's a nice and clean beach (Kamaole 2). Go during the first half of the day, it often gets windy in the afternoons.
In summary: we stayed at 2 places this spring, and this was definitely the better one. We would not hesitate to stay here again.
