We absolutely loved the condo! Well appointed, great location with a beach at your backdoor. The grounds are kept in immaculate shape. The two negatives for us: 1)there is a marriage center being built right next door, creating construction noise from 8:00 to 4:00 Mon-Sat, had to keep doors closed during that time. 2)A highway heading up to the north is quite noisy as well, making sleeping with windows open lees enjoyable. Overall, you can't beat the value all things considered, we'll be back!

Dirty unit

Just like many others who have rented this unit it had not been cleaned at all when we arrived. Dirty laundry,dirty bed,garbage bins overflowing. We then called the property manager who rents this unit. we had the property manager of the building come and he had his cleaners, clean the unit (which we were told by them, that they do not clean this unit). They did a wonderful job, but then we felt obligated to tip them for cleaning someone else's mess. Then still all of the carpets were filthy, never been cleaned in years. The unit also has a bug problem, the bathroom vanity in the bedroom bathroom is infested with termites. The main closet and kitchen as well. So keep ALL food in ziplock bags, or else.The building exterminator was in as a regular building maintenance.Bed mattress is old and needs replacing.

We were happy with everything as far as the property and will look at coming back. The unit wasn't as clean as I would have liked considering a fair dollar is charged as part of the rental for cleaning. Maybe more facecloths as we only had two for the entire week and had to was them, but otherwise a pleasant stay.

Loved the location, pool area and beach access. Beautiful view of the ocean/beach from the bedroom and family room. Loved having 2 bathrooms. 608 though was very dirty for renting conditions. Sand in the bathroom, hair on the pillows, dirty oven and broil pan, dirty floor and fridge. Would definitely stay at the property again but not in 608. I had seen a review that the unit was dirty and the people I made the reservation with promised that was not the case and the unit was thoroughly deep cleaned. Not the case at all.

Floors were dirty and dusty, with a large spill in front of the fridge not cleaned up. Walls were splashed with food behind sink and walls in bathroom splashed with mud. The lanai was covered in bird droppings and very dirty. Overall the furniture is dirty
and grime on the chairs. The sheets are very low quality will pills and therefore very rough. Plenty of towels, internet and cable TV worked well. False ad, this is not a front or Penthouse unit, it is one back from the front. -

My wife and I stayed in three condos while in Hawaii for seven weeks. Our last week at Nani was by far the best. The large window and full wall mirror provided ocean and mountain views from anywhere in the living room. We sat for hours on the balcony watching our favorate of all views; palm trees, ocean and mountain. We also loved sitting on the grass and beach located only a few steps from the elevator. By far, our best stay while in Hawaii. We highly recommend Nani Kai Hale 608.

This property is in need of a very thorough cleaning including walls, baseboards, windows, door frames. Window screens are torn allowing bugs in, rollers are broken on sliding patio door, bifold closet doors are filthy. Crisper door won't open easily, microwave programming was causing some problems. We have been here previously and all was good then. A thorough cleaning is very much need now.
