Maui Sunset is a fabulous oceanfront property in Kihei that has lush tropical landscaping, large pool, hot tub, gas grills, work out room and tennis courts out on the beach for your use. Guests return here year after year which says a lot about this property. Windsurf, whale watch, walk the beach and enjoy magnificent sunsets.

We stayed there only a few days but it felt like weeks : all our family really enjoyed our vacation on Maui and the convenience of the great property, the friendlyness of all the neighbours and the efficaccy of the staff !! We had a fabulous stay at the Maui Sunset. The grounds, pool and scenery are amazing. The location in Kihea is perfect, away from the main strip and all the people but so close, walking distance, to all amenities. The room was good, it was clean. It was missing some amenities such as boogie boards, measuring cups and baking sheets. But overall a great place and we would stay there again.

Nice clean condo, lots of extras included. Enjoyed the view and the resortlike grounds. Like the way it is convenient to town, but once inside, feels like you're miles away from bustle.

This unit is out of date. The kitchen cupboards and counters are in need of repair. The dishes look like they are a mish mash collection of second hand. Unit was clean but furniture looked like it was also from a second hand store. Disappointing.

Having been to Maui many times before and staying in other rental properties I have some things to compare this property with. I did really like the Maui Sunset. The grounds were nice, pool was nice, bbq's in nice central location and never had to wait for one. Only complaint was that the hide-a-bed in the living room of our unit was awful. The mattress was original and therefore totally unacceptable for sleeping. It sagged into the middle and there wasn't much left for padding. The queen bed in the bedroom was great however. The kitchen and bathrooms could certainly use updating as they must be original too, but they were fully functional and had everything we needed (except bbq tools).

Clean, convenient location with lots to do. Huge bedroom, baths and nice, well stocked kitchen- you provide food. Better swimming beaches are a 1/2 mile in south kihei. Overall, very pleased, property was immaculate and other owners were courteous and friendly.

My wife and I, 2 friends and their 4 year old sun stayed at the Maui Sunset for 10 days at the end of Janueary 2012. Our stay at the Maui Sunset was a perfect way to enjot the whole island. The grounds were wonderfully kept and the accomodations in very good shape. The location was well situated in that it was close to all of the good beaches in Kihea and Wailea and not very far from Lahaina and Kanapali. We made good use of the advice we received from Tracey at our pool side introduction the first morning we arrived. Her advice pointed us to a great boat trip with Redline Tours and to the wonderful Te Au Moana Luau. All in all a great place to stay while on the island of Maui.

This is a nice Condo located in Kihei. It's an older building, but very well maintained with a nice grassy area out front leading to a beach. The furnishings are older, but the condo has everything needed. It's also quite spacious for a 1BR.
