Unit #19 is an ocean garden view unit located on the lower level near the pool. Recent kitchen remodel boasts granite counter tops, stainless steel full size appliances and beautiful wood flooring throughout. Relax on the lanai with a good book or just a few steps away, head out to the beach for a swim and a long walk. A queen size bed and sleeper sofa makes this unit comfortable for four people.

This was three weeks of fun in the sun! It wasn't our first visit to Kihei Kai, and it certainly won't be our last.
Our room was great ~ so comfortable, fully stocked with everything we needed. Lots of towels, comfortable bed, and a huge refrigerator for all the fruit we purchased from the farmers market, located just down the beach. Fresh and delicious! The aBC Store is just next door to the market, if you're looking for staples, sunscreen, a cute pair of flip flops or hi t-shirt.
The staff was so friendly and helpful. In the office, April and Shannon always greeted us with a smile. And I love that they had quarters for the laundry! I heard many guests comment on how personable Shannon was ~ something they seemed to feel was important to them. Outside, the grounds were meticulous, thanks to Ron's hard work. I especially loved swimming in an immaculate pool and lounging on a clean lawn chair!
Kihei Kai is located on a pristine, quiet stretch of beach. We didn't rent a car this trip, but chose to ride the local transit instead. It was so easy ~ caught it right in front of the aBC Store. It was especially fun mingling with the locals. There are many great restaurants and delicious bakeries close to Kihei Kai. I am totally addicted to Portugese malasadas, baked in a cute homemade bakery in Kihei by the post office! They're a must if you come to visit! -

This unit is very clean and comfortable and is beautifully decorated! Perfect location right on the beach. The onsite management (Ron and Shannon) are very friendly and helpful! We will definitely be back!!!

Unit #19 at Kihei Kai has been remodeled and continues to be updated. We like Kihei Kai because there are only 24 units. Kihei Kai is near the middle of the Island to easy to drive to either end of the Island. We also enjoy the people that stay at Kihei Kai. It is a very friendly place.

I am truly hesitant to speak too fondly of this property, specifically unit# 19, as I am afraid our perfectly hidden hide-a-way will become so popular that we are unable to reserve time there in the future. This is the perfect property for self-sufficient guests who want to enjoy the beauty of the island without the need for unnecessary luxuries outside your front door (there's a zillion spas & massage services on the island, including out-call services if you desire such amenities). Each unit is a fully furnished 1 bedroom / 1 bathroom condo, complete with a full-sized kitchens stocked with everything (and more!) needed to cook and serve your favorite meals. Each unit of the two-story building has a private patio with views of either the pool/garden or the Pacific Ocean. The property is located right at the beginning of Kihei on Sugar Beach, which means you don't have to drive through the Kihei traffic every time you want to leave the property. Every single unit is within a 1 minute walking distance to the sand, most within just a few steps, and the beach area directly in front of the property is typically quiet and with few other people than those staying at the Kihei Kai's small property. The pool is small, but clean and furnished with new lounge chairs. In addition, there are several chairs and tables located beachfront in a private grass area with BBQ grills available for use. There is also a small coin-op laundry facility onsite and an aBC store directly across the street. My fiance and I both work in the travel industry and have made several trips to Maui as well as the other Hawaiian Islands. Kihei Kai is by far the highest quality condo you will find at such an incredibly reasonable price!!

We enjoy # 19 and it is our choice wneever we are able to make the trip.
The way the unit is decorated is great and ourm stay there is always very restful and enjopyable.
We were there some years back for our first time and we love to return the accomodations are first rate and we enjoy others who we meet there. -

Overall we were very happy staying here. Place was comfortable and has everything that you would need to feel at home. This unit is very up to date. The value was exceptional. Only general comment is that this small complex is filled with people who seem to know each other very well, so if you want to have a low key experience and not feel awkward about keeping to yourself it might not be the best choice.
