We stayed at the condo for 3 days in early December before heading up and camping in the crater then driving around the island. The location of the condo is perfect! It is right on a quiet beach, across the street from a great little fruit market, and close to the highway for easy access to other parts of the island. We spent many romantic meals on the beach or on the patio after cooking delicious breakfasts and dinners in the condo. Luckily the condo had many of the little things: a cooler for day trips, oil and condiments for cooking, lots of ice and a blender for Mai Tais, etc... The place is spacious and nice, yet has a friendly personal feel. Furthermore, the ali'i people were extremely friendly to speak with and gave us some good advice for attractions. We had a great stay at the condo and in Maui. Read more

This is the 3rd unit we've stayed in at Kauai Beach. I would have rated this unit higher except for the bed. It was bouncy and uncomfortable. Even though it was a king that was split, when one of us moved the other woke up. We ended up having to have one of us sleep on the pullout sofa. Other than that the unit was clean, with updated bathrooms. The view is great at the Kauai Beach on the higher floors. But the best thing is booking with Carney at ali'i resorts. She is efficient and knowledgable, and makes your booking experience a breeze. Read more

Accomodations were exactly as shown, except the view was even better than shown on-line. All good! Read more

The location of our livingroom and lanai were perfect for the spectacular sunsets. The unit was clean and had everything we needed including the most comfortable mattress, scrumptous linens and plenty of pillows.
Very private feeling while still close enough to everything.
The market across the street was a real plus.
Going canoeing with the Kikei Canoe Club next door was a special treat and getting up every morning and having a 6 mile beach at you doorstep to go running on...where else on Maui can you do that! Unit 405 we miss you.

condo was not as clean as it could be, housekeeping took plastic water bottles twice, but left the additional recycling. Laundry facilities very dirty, front desk staff only is there very infrequesntly, i think it was 12-2pm m-f, also when ever I went down, they were never there. Groundskeeper very rude and unprofessional. With these few exceptions, I always enjoy Maui and love the wonderful breezes and the beach and listening to the surf is so relaxing. Also the beautiful flowers, cant wait to go back. Would definitely stay in the condo again
