Delightful beach cottage perfect for adventurous couples, honeymooners or families. Located down a winding country road (four wheel drive vehicles recommended) and tucked away on a peaceful stream. Two kayaks are provided for your use to pack with your towels and lunch; paddle leisurely down a peaceful stream, pass a bird sanctuary and then to the incredible pristine white sand bay of Moloa'a (about one block from Jade Lily Pad). There is a small view of the ocean/bay from the lanai and you can hear the waves as you fall asleep each night.

The Jade Lily Pad has two bedrooms and one bathroom. The master bedroom has a king bed; the guest... bedroom has a queen bed plus there is a twin bed located on the "sleeping porch". The kitchen is large, open and fully equipped plus a dining room, cathedral ceilings, hardwood floors, and a front lanai for outdoor dining.

The covered rear lanai is romantic, overlooking the Moloa'a Stream under a huge canopy of monkey pod trees. There is a gas grill, chaise lounges and a garden shower.Read more

Moloaa is about 15 minutes away from Kapaa on Kauai's east side, a 30 minute drive from the Lihue Airport.

Reservations/Deposit/Payments:
A two night (non-refundable) deposit is required to make a reservation for a Rosewood Kauai vacation rental. The balance of the rental fee, plus the cleaning fee and taxes are due in full 30 days prior to check in. Rosewood Kauai accepts personal checks, cash or travelers checks. Credit cards are not accepted.

Taxes:
All rates are subject to a Hawaii Excise and Accommodations Tax which total 13.25%. (4% Hawaii Excise Tax and 9.25% Hawaii transient accommodations tax).

Cancellation Policy:
The two night deposit required to reserve a Rosewood Kauai Vacation Rental is non-refundable should you need to cancel for any reason. Cancellations made less than 30 days prior to arrival date will be refunded less the two-night deposit if we are able to re-book the accommodation.

  My husband and I stayed at Jade Lily for our honeymoon and we couldn't be happier with our experience! Jessica and her staff were very communicative and helpful, providing specific directions to the house. (Note: you will need a vehicle that sits higher off the ground, like a small SUV, to make it down the dirt road without fear of damage. We rented a jeep and are glad we did! We never had to use 4 wheel drive, but I would've been worried about dinging the undercarriage of a tiny econo-car)
  
  The house itself is beautiful, as you can see from the pictures. We spent so many mornings just appreciating the view from the lanai. And what other house can boast that the quickest way to the beach is by kayak? We kayaked to Moloa'a bay and it was such a smooth, peaceful, 5 minute ride. The kayaks that are provided by the house were in good repair and held 2 heavy adults well. The beach at Moloa'a is beautiful, and it was recommended as one of the top beaches by our guidebook.
  
  We had no cell phone service at the house with our carrier, but the high-speed wireless internet made up for it. Who wants to be answering phone calls on vacation anyway?
  
  Super bonus: Moloa'a Sunrise Fruit Stand is at the end of the paved road, right where you turn off from the main highway. You must eat here! They have delicious smoothies and sandwiches. I could have eaten there everyday! Plus, they are vegetarian friendly! Yay!

  Great house and great price

  A group of my friends stayed here for a week, and it couldn't have worked out better. The price made the trip to Hawaii quite affordable versus paying for hotels for a week. The house was clean, well supplied (dishes, towels, etc), comfortable, and in a beautiful location. Having a washer and dryer, kitchen, grill, and hot tub was really nice. The only thing most don't know about Kauai is that there are chickens everywhere and you will hear them at all hours, but I don't think that can be avoided in most areas. The farthest we drove to any of the places we wanted to get to was one hour and that was on the opposite side of the island, but all of the scenary was fantastic along the way. Having the kitchen was great b/c we hit up some local fish markets and fruit stands and cooked lovely meals, but there are some delicious restaurants within 10 miles of the house as well. I'd highly recommend this place for any small group traveling to the island.
