Enjoy the lush tropical fruits and organic vegetables in the Om Orchard and Garden, a three acre estate on the north shore of Kauai. You will love our private lava rock outdoor shower and romantic loft with balcony over looking our Huge Ficus Tree. With only five minutes to the beach we provide a great place to have a great stay. We arrived at the OM Orchard Cottage feeling tired from our travels and after three days left feeling totally refreshed and rejuvenated. What a remarkable place with wonderful energy! The cottage is simply amazing with the perfect decor to match the surroundings. We enjoyed walking the grounds admiring the beautiful fruit trees (mango, avocado, tangerine just to name a few) and gorgeous flowers and plants. One of my favorite things to do at least once a day was to shower outside in the lava shower. I couldn't believe the size of the palm trees surrounding the house - like showering in Jurassic Park! Our hosts, Tsajon and Kamalia, were warm and friendly as were their sweet dogs.

You cannot get the complete feeling that comes with Om Orchard from the pictures. It is located in Kileau, Kauai and on the grounds of the owners, but due to the location of the rental hourse, it offers complete privacy. The home is tastefully decorated and has everything you need including boogie boards, beach chairs, beach towels and a small kitchen. You can wander the back yard and adjoining grounds to experience Kauai's North Shore jungle lushness.
The outdoor lava rock shower is awesome... would compare it to showering under a warm waterfall in the middle of a jungle. The sounds of the birds in the morning is amazing and with the open slats on the windows, you almost get the feel of sleeping outside.
It is in a great location with many North End Beaches, Sights and Restaurants within close proximity. The owners are very gracious hosts and truly want you to enjoy their piece of a wonderful island. -

My husband and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary for 8 days at Om Orchard. It is everything you imagine when you dream of Hawaii. Lush tropical gardens, hike to waterfalls from backyard and total peace. It is paradise. All the windows mae you feel like you are outside and one with nature. You wake up daily to a symphony of song birds. It is amazing! The owners are wonderful and the entire estate has such a wonderful vibe. I would highly reccomend this place to anyone who loves nature.

We spent one blissful week here and one week on the south. The perfect vacation. We started at Om Orchard and immediately felt the peace and harmony of this property. My shoulders were finally relaxing. The bed was so comfortable. The grounds and fresh fruit are incredible. The location is perfect. But what is the best feature is the outdoor lava shower. We absolutely loved it!

Me and my wife stayed here on our honeymoon and I can tell you that the pictures did not do this place justice. It was immaculate and extremely well taken care of. A piece of paradise in a private secluded neighbor. We stayed Oct 3rd-10th 2011 and had an excellent time. Would highly recommend staying here and I know we will certainly be going back!

Om Orchard is a heavenly retreat in a heavenly place. Kauai itself is absolutely magical, and this stylish, relaxed cottage was the perfect fit for us. We sought a private, quiet, spiritual place of relaxed luxury from which to anchor our daily activity. This is it.
Nestled on astoundingly beautiful grounds away from the fray of tourist-clogged Hanalei, the cottage sits atop a sacred valley filled with waterfalls and streams. Wonderful for a morning meditative walk!
A highlight of our day was showering in the open air lava rock bath, watching the moon rise over the palms...
Kamalia, the owner, is a gem of a person. She gave us privacy while making sure our needs were met. Moreover, she has created a temple of this entire place. It's powerful. We feel we've made a new friend in lovely Kamalia.
I highly suggest Om Orchard to couples or singles who will appreciate the beauty of the cottage's Buddhist art, sacred grounds, and overall spirit of the place.
Be sure to confirm your flight's arrival time, perhaps calling again after you arrive, so that someone is there to greet you and show you to the cottage, as it's a gated entrance.
Highly recommended. -

My boyfriend and I are in our twenties and we knew that when visiting Kauai we would want to stay in a vacation home away from the typical resort. We researched well and found that the north shore of Kauai corresponded best with the vacation we had in mind. We wanted to be as close as possible to the quiet hideaway beaches and the famous hiking trails. When we fell upon the Om Orchard we knew right away that it would be just the perfect size for the two of us but upon our arrival our expectations were immediately exceeded. The pictures really don't do the beauty of the home justice. The home is surrounded by acres of land that will make exploring your backyard almost as exciting as exploring the rest of this beautiful island.The home is also carefully decorated with carefully selected art that the owners will be glad to tell you about. The owners, Tsajon and Kamalia are very friendly and most helpful.While we had an uncommon amount of rain during our stay our proximity to beaches and towns like Hanalei made switching the plans around really easy! While this was our first vacation together Jay and I have traveled quite a bit on our own so our expectations weren't necessary low and in the end no rain or cloud could have made this vacation any less perfect!
