The wooden chalet, Strathconon, enjoys one of the most elevated positions, in beautiful Kilchoan. Set high up on the hill, it has far reaching views over the village, out to the Isle of Mull and Morvern and down the Sound of Mull. South-facing, it basks in the best of the day's sunshine. It's small size and wooden interior creates a homely, cosy atmosphere, however the open design gives it a spacious feel. Behind the chalet stand heather covered hills leading to the open mountains, ideal for hiking and wildlife. In front there is a well kept area of grass great for the children to play on.All on the ground floor: entrance porch, open plan liv...ing room, kitchen and dining area, shower room, a double bedroom and a twin bedroom.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this very comfortable and well equipped cottage. Peaceful location with excellent views, great place for walking. Shop, local hotel & pier (for ferry to Mull), all close by. Short drive to beautiful beaches

The cabin is high up on the hill above Kilchoan with easy access by car - and great views out the front to Mull and out the back to Ben Hiant. It's well equipped with most things you need, comfy and spacious. A good amount of local information was available on the book shelves. There's a good wee shop a short drive away and a ten minute walk to the local pub which is a definite bonus! The beds were clean and comfy so no complaints from us!
Cosy, comfortable and quite

We found the cabin very well kitted-out, with all of the usual amenities.
It has a great view, overlooking the coast and across to Mull. We saw Dolphins, Seals, Otters and many bird-species from the cabin windows.
We also found it very handy for visiting Mull, on foot and by car, via the Kilchoan ferry.
The Kilchoan Hotel is within easy walking distance and the food was great.
The Ferry Store is also very handy and well-stocked.
All-in-all, - a very enjoyable stay.
