This house is well equipped and very clean. The bathrooms are well appointed and spacious. Loved the linen package. Wi-fi availability is much appreciated, but not stated in the amenities on the web. Location on the main highway is minor drawback due to street noise, but once you get use to the sounds from the road and realize the walk to the beach is easy and short, all is well! This house is a great value and a great stay!

This home was beautiful. The kids absolutely loved the foosball, hot tub and pool. We would rent this cottage again, in an instant. The realty company is also a-1.

My family and friends loved our week long stay in Kick Back. We did not want to leave! The house is beautiful, inside and out! The pool is great for lounging around after a long day at the beach and so is the huge hot tub! Behind the house is a small creek filled with a bunch of cute/interesting turtles! The beach is close enough to walk to with direct beach access once you're there, which we loved. All and all this house is our favorite house to date!

Property was absolutely beautiful & had all amenities we could possibly require-linens, toddler needs, kitchen equipment, pool equipment, beautiful views, etc. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Only one thing was missing...due to a severe thunderstorm, tv & dvd player in rec room was no longer working. We told maint. special dvd was stuck in dvd player due to storm. We were told maint. would come before our departure Sat. 2pm & give us dvd. No one came before our departure & we would like dvd mailed to us if possible..

The house was great--pool, game room, and a hot tub! One of the few properties with a pool, or so I'm told. There were two families of four, and everyone had plenty of space. The only drawback was that we had to buy some items we thought should have been provided, i.e. dish cloths, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, and propane. I can understand not providing a week's worth of TP, but at least have a few rolls handy upon the guests' arrival--just until a run to the store can be made. The location was very convenient, although we would have preferred something off the main thoroughfare. Overall, we would highly recommend the property and would consider staying there again.

We shared Kick Back with 10 adults and 3 children. Our family goes to the Outer Banks every year and we always try to stay in the Kill Devil Hills area. The price for this unit is the big value. It is close to everything, and our check-in couldn't have been quicker. The pool was nice, and you can always feed bread to the turtles in the canal behind the house. No worries with the house being on the main road. There is a stop light next to the house which makes getting in and out a breeze. We would rent this unit again.

House was beautiful. Wish vacuum sweepers worked
better. We could have swept floors more efficiently. Had
some problems with ants but we kept things off counters and in plastic bags or in refrigerator. Washer and dryer
need replaced. Washer kept going "off balance" and dryer
took too long for clothes to dry. Used the beautiful
North Carolina sun for drying most of clothing. -

We enjoyed this home and everyone had a place that they could stretch out and relax. The beach access was pretty close and that was nice. Home is well appointed and beds were comfortable. Only complaint I have is that someone was sent at 6:30am one morning to place rocks around the pool in the beds and under the steps and it sounded like someone was shoveling right next to my ear for about an hour...if I had realized it was at our home, I would have gone downstairs and asked them to come back a different time. Otherwise, our stay was wonderful!

The house was perfect for us. Great location, good amount of space, pool and hot tub were super, kitchen was wonderful(having two dishwashers was ingenious). We were able to really relax.
The only negatives were:
wrong size sheets were left for a bed and when I called about it the they told me I would have to bring the sheets to change them out.
outside lights were not working, so we were unable to be outside at the pool in the late evening.
Overall experience was great! -

We would stay at kickback again. The house was very clean and had lots of room. The kids loved the pool and hot tub. The location was great; just a short walk to beach and close to shopping. The best part was having a den down stairs so the kids could hang out their. I can't think of anything i disliked about our vacation at kickback.

This house was very spacious, nicely decorated and felt homey. Very convenient to shopping, dining and activities. A slightly longer walk to the beach than I expected but not too bad. One problem - no movies, books or games to be found. I have rented several homes and they always had some of each.
I would rent this house again. -

Located right along 158. Grocery store directly across the street in a small shopping plaza.
The house is beautiful and very cozy. Everything you need is there. It was only a 5 minute walk to the beach. The location was absolutely perfect!
The pool was great and the hot tub even better.
The only issue we had while we stayed pertained only to the cleaning and care of the house before we arrived. I think we replaced about 5 light bulbs during our stay with the majority of them being all the bulbs in the fixtue over the sink and in the dining room. Not one outside light worked and we did not replace those bulbs. Door handles were broken when we arrived. Blinds were broken when we arrived. I am sure the owners pay plenty for maintenance of their homes. It is my opinion that they should have all been checked before we arrived.
None of the above issues have made us leary of renting through Resort Realty again. It was still a great vacation.

The house was nicely maintained and very roomy! It is right across the street from a Food Lion shopping center. Very convenient!
