      Beautiful view of the atlantic

      Our stay was excellent in every way. The only negative was having to leave a day early because of the hurricane. Will definitely consider staying here again.

      A couple of minor issues but the management company called us several times to update us and help resolve things. The condo owner even called a couple times with updates. Great access to beach and views of Wright Brothers Memorial. Very comfortable for four adults and 2 children. More would have managed too I'm sure. Wi-fi wasn't mentioned and we were surprised to see that it was available even if not consistantly. Being in a building with only eight units probably kept the noise level from partiers down quite a bit.

      Fabulous view from everywhere inside and out.
      We love everything except the mattress on the bed in the second bedroom.
      Great beach access.
      We even loved being there when it rained.
      Easy check in and out.
      Fun decorations - our grandson loved the fish room.
      All the stairs could be daunting esp in carrying all you stuff in and out.

      This is a wonderful condo; view is beautiful; kitchen well appointed. Beds not particularly comfortable but ok. Decor beautiful. Only concern is that the rate has gone up so high for our rental week; will not be staying again unfortunately as too costly going from $1600 up to $2250.

      Pure heaven on the beach

      The condo on the beach in Kill Devil Hills is wonderful. This year was the 5th straight year we rented the same condo and we keep coming back because we like it so much. It is clean and well maintained and is decorated with a lot of cute frogs,turtles fish,etc which give it charm.
      The only problem is the many steps to the condo and to the beach. We are elferly and don't know how many years we can climb the steps.

      This was our first time at Gulf Stream. We've been coming to the Outer Banks for 36 years and this was the best place we've ever stayed. We loved the condo, the location, and everything about it. Thanks for a great vacation. (Next time we would appreciate it if a hurricane didn't cut our time short.)

      Nice, clean condo with thin beachfront

      The condo itself is very nice, and well maintained. The furnishings and finishes are mostly updated and the condo was a very comfortable place to spend time. The location on the island is very convenient; however, the beach is very thin in this particular area, and at high tide there was virtually no usable beach. The pool is small, however this wasn't an issue for us, as the condo complex was not very busy when we were there. If there had been more families with small children there may have been an issue with overcrowding.

      We did utilize the baby equipment during our stay. The high chair and booster seat were clean and in good condition. The pack and play (playpen) was outdated, though, and we did not attempt to use it because of this.

      The inclusion of the linens was a nice feature, however the quality of the linens left something to be desired.

      The keyless entry feature was nice so that we didn't have to worry about losing keys at the beach. This condo also accesses a back stairwell that leads directly to the beach access.

      Overall, we were pleased with our time at the condo, but wish that the beach was a bit wider at this location.

      Right on the beach - no need to bring anything!

      Fantastic condo right on the beach, but the best part was that you don't have to bring anything! There are beach chairs, kites, sand toys, even a metal detector! Inside the kitchen has all the pots/pans and dishes you could need including a blender! Games are available in the kids room...Great time!

      This is the fifth year we have rented the same condo and we love it. It is situated well on the beach and the location is centralized. It is clean and orderly and beautifully decorated. Only problem this year was that the WiFi wasn't working.

      Gulf Stream 201

      The condo was very nice and a quality value. The problems I had were no hot water on arrival which was on saturday evening I made several calls and left messages that were not returned I finally spoke to a real person on Monday the problem was taken care of right away.I made it through the weekend by resetting the thermostat on the heater myself. Afetr the water heater was repaired on Monday that evening we were trying to do some laundry to catch up from not having hot water and it was around 11pm and the owner of the unit below came up and knocked on our door and told us we had to shut washer off because it was quiet time we did so but it is beyond me why you cant run a dishwasher and washing machine over night without bothering someone.The next problem arouse when we returned tuesday evening and we had a note on my truck telling me trailers weren't allowed on the condo property.It was late and the hitch end was blocked in so I didn't do anything with it. In the morning I had another note telling me it would be towed if not moved by 9 am. so I moved it over to the public parking area. i then called Seaside Vacations and spoke with Nancy she was very helpful and worked on a solution to this parking problem.After many phone calls back and forth it was decided that I would be allowed to park my vehicle on the property. I would have expected something to be noted on this rental that trailers weren't allowed especially being this week was Bike week.On another note the Unit above had someone running back and forth this reaally didnt bother me except for I was affraid we would be blamed for the noise from the owner below tht seemed to here every noise in the entire building.Altough we had motorcycles we were very concious of others when we left we started the bikes and left and when we returned we shut them off immeadiately.I found out after my arrival that the pool was not available either I may have overlooked it's availability.

      Our stay was wonderful. Great location only a few yards from the beach. The place was very clean, comfortable and everything worked fine. We won't hesitate to book the same location again. Our only real complaint was having to wait until 3:00 PM to check in - a little late in the day for our liking. The actual check was quick and smooth however.

      lovely view, clean and very roomy.

      It was a great place. The only real complaint was the patio door handle was broke and the smaller bedroom beds were terrible. My brother in law slept in that room and the mattresses were horrible. His tv didn't work and he was so uncomfortable. But all in all it was a good place and we had a great time.

      great location

      this condo was wonderful. It had lots of glass doors to view the ocean form every room. Making dinner in the kitchen, we could see the ocean and watch the sailboats. The beach chairs and supplies were also a welcome addition-last year we stayed elsewhere and had to buy chairs-then left them behind since we did not have room in the car for them.Only problem is we had three cabinet doors that were unhinged but called the office and it should have been fixed. Would reccomend this condo and will return in the future.

      Great condo!

      We had a wonderful time staying at the Gulf Steam Condo. Everything was very clean and well kept. The kitchen was fully stocked with lots of dishes and equipment to make our stay very comfortable. The vegetable peeler was awful, but that's our only complaint about the kitchen! Thank you so much for having baby gear...what a nice treat to not have to bring our high chair with us on vacation. The door off of the deck leading down the stairs to the beach was difficult to latch. The murals were a bit much...we could have done without them. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay in a beautiful location! Thanks so much!

      A Great End of September Vacation

      The Gulf Stream Condo 201 was a perfect location to the
      many restaurants and shops in the area. The beach wasn't
      crowded and our weather was perfect. The water the first half
      of the week was too rough for swimming but great to watch.
      Water temp was in the 70's when we did get to go swimming.
      The place was furnish well and very clean. The deck is rather
      cramped but fine for two, a great view of the sunrise. This
      was our first time going to the OBX late in the season (9/26-
      10/03, but we'll do again. You gamble on the "Please, No
      Hurricane Idea", but the prices are unbeatable for Oceanfront
      accommodations.

      Spectacular Condo with Ocean Views

      The Gulfstream Condo Unit 201 was wonderful. It was large enough for our family of 6 and could have accomodated even more. Plenty of space and storage. The atmosphere was very inviting and you could tell that it had recently been renovated. The views from the living area were astounding, you could see the ocean from all areas. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and utensils and it was nice to have a washer and dryer. The people at Seaside Vacations were quick to answer any of our questions and bring us beach chairs when we couldn't locate any in the unit.The unit is located closer to the beach than other condos on the same strip. The beach is trully right outside your door, safe enough to send teens down alone.However the lifeguards weren't close enough for me. The pool is small but it was never crowded, the guests seemed to take turns when they saw another family coming. The condo is located in Kill Devil Hills which seemed like a central location to all other areas. We were close to all other towns and it had it's share of miniture golf, go-karts and we saw the aquarium and Corolla wild horses too. There are many restaurants, fast food places close by and stores. We loved our condo, but didn't appreciate the commercial area, the kids loved the ocean. We might try Duck or Corolla next time. The people at Seaside should get out to see the rentals so that they can answer questions about them on the phone. Thanks for a great stay!!

      I enjoyed staying at Gulf stream Condo. The accomadations were great and our vacation was very restful. We needed to contact maintance to fix the shower in our condo but they responded very quickly and fixed the problem while we were out one day. I would recommend this condo to everyone it was great.

      We enjoyed our stay in the Gulf Stream Condo #201. The biggest issue was all the noise from the condo above us - the children would run across the floor constantly and slam the slider doors very early in the morning. Our condo was very nice and also very clean - views were beautiful! Also, loved that there were NO BUGS! We would have liked to see recycling bins either in the condo or at the dumpster.       we enjoyed our stay. The pool is small(should be bigger) but our girls enjoyed it . The walkway had nails sticking out ,needs maintance.Our unit was very nice. I liked having washer and dryer available . The jacuzzi was a nice extra. The unit was nicely furnished. we loved the decks and the wonderful ocean breeze. The master bedroom was great! Our neighbors upstairs seemed to forget that there was a unit below. We would definately stay at this unit again.

      This was our third year at Gulfstream 11. We love the place. It's right on the beach and the views are beautiful. The air is great and the facilities are terrific. It is centrally located in Kill Devil Hills right across from the Wright Bros Memorial.

      We had a great time staying in there. It was a very quite and peaceful week. We spent a lot of time on beach. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. By the end of week, we were all well rested and had a hard time to leave.

      Relaxing Week

      We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Gulf Stream Condo. The view of the ocean and of the Wright Memorial was wonderful. The numerous boardwalks were easier to overlook considering how beautiful everything else was. The condo is decorated tastefully. We enjoyed the well stocked storage room of beach chairs, sand buckets and all sorts of items to make your stay at the beach more comfortable. We were able to cook simple meals in the kitchen using the cookware and utensils provided. We appreciated the one-level floor plan of the condo. My sister joined us who had recently had foot surgery. She was able to maneuver the stairs to the condo and then didn't have to worry about more stairways. Great place overall and the price in October can't be beat.
