This cottage is a delightful semi-detached property with outstanding views, and sleeps up to four people. This semi-detached cottage occupies a tranquil location in delightful gardens, just four miles from Killarney. The accommodation is all on the ground floor, the dining kitchen is well equipped and on open plan with the comfortable and welcoming sitting room which has an open fire, and glorious views across the countryside. There are two bedrooms; a double which has the benefit of an en-suite shower room and a twin room. Both rooms are bright and airy and the whole property has a lovely homely feel, making it a real ‘home from home&...#8217;. There is an additional shower room and outside there is a lawned garden with children’s play equipment, garden furniture and a barbecue. This property makes a super base for a family holiday.

Amenities: Oil central heating with open fire in sitting room. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, satellite TV, video, DVD player, stereo/CD player, WiFi, library of books, games and DVDs. Electricity by meter reading at end of stay. €10 heating supplement from beginning of May to end of September, €15 heating supplement at all other times (payable direct to owner). For short breaks heating charged on pro rata basis. 2 baskets of fuel for open fire inc. in rent, further baskets at €2 each. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair available on request. Off road parking for 2 cars. Lawned garden to front with children's play facilities, children's playhouse in adjoining field, patio area to side and rear with garden furniture, BBQ and patio heater. One well-behaved pet welcome. Shop 1.5 miles, pub 1 mile.

Region: County Kerry is a mystical and unspoilt part of Ireland, with spectacular natural beauty and a fascinating history. Facing the Atlantic Ocean, it features many sandy beaches, rocky inlets and stunning peninsulas.

Town: The vibrant town of Killarney is situated in stunning countryside, with deep valleys and glorious lakes in the South west of Ireland. The town is a popular spot with holiday makers, and has a variety of traditional pubs, excellent restaurants, shops and a theatre. There are many attractions around the town including Ladies’ View, a spot named after Queen Victoria’s ladies-in-waiting and where there are spectacular views across the town and to the MacGillicuddy Reeks, the largest range of mountains in Ireland. There are many outdoor pursuits available in the area, from fishing to walking and of course the National Park is just waiting to be explored. Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

  We had a wonderful time at Brewsterfield Cottage. The setting and surrounding sights would be difficult to match. The friendly, helpful owner even gave the children a donkey cart ride. It is conveniently located in a peaceful, secluded spot just a few miles from Killarney. The only downside was that my six-year-old son cried when it was time to say goodbye to the donkeys!
