Really enjoyed this stay. Owner was friendly and very helpful. The lodge was very clean and comfortable with a nice dining room with patio windows which opened onto a small meadow beyond the fence with two donkeys in. Owner says he gives donkey rides to the children of families who stay. Very quiet location about 4 miles from Killarney which suited us as we wanted peace and quiet. 2 large bedrooms and 1 single well furnished. The living room was very comfortable though a little cluttered with memorabilia but this did not get in our way as it was on cupboards and to the sides of the room. Could have done with a signpost outside with name of property as we went to the top of the lane to find it but were then guided back to the beginning of the lane. These are only small points as if we ever go back to that area we would certainly be very happy to stay there again. Lovely, charming place.
