"Fuchsia Heights in the Heart of Kerry" is an ideal vacation spot for those who want to relax and take their time while enjoying Ireland's beautiful southwestern coastal area.
The vacation home is situated a very short drive from the Kerry airport, but it feels as if you're miles & miles away from the hectic, busy world. The view from the picture window is gorgeous. The road it's situated on is quiet & lightly traveled, but guests are only a 20-minute drive from Killarney, a perfect town for sightseeing, a very easy town to walk around. Other tourist destinations, most notably along the coast, are a manageable distance away. This vacation home is a perfect home base for launching day trips all across southwestern Ireland. Public transportation options are limited, so renting a car is a necessity. We found the car rental agency staff at the Kerry airport to be very helpful & extremely friendly. Restaurant choices are a bit limited in the immediate vicinity, but larger towns are just 20 - 30 minutes away, with many great choices.
The home itself is modern and is kept in spotless condition. Everything needed to feel at home is provided, with a local caretaker living a short distance away, should his help be needed.
