We manage our own holiday home which is directly across the road from the famous Lakes of Killarney and National park, internationally renowned for its scenic beauty.
It is situated in a courtyard style village of 27 homes. Our home is a 4* Failte Ireland approved holiday home sleeping up to 5 people. It features one double room (ensuite), one twin room and one single room. It has a spacious kitchen/dining area. The owners are fantastic. Lots of information provided leading up to our stay in Killarney and when we arrived. We were pleasantly surprised to be welcomed with a goodies basket. It even included a delicious chocolate cake and a bottle of wine.
The house itself is beautifully presented, clean and comfortable. In our travel group there were five adults and none of us complained. It suited us perfectly.
It's location is great, close to town and the national park.

Great townhome located a very short drive to downtown. There were 6 of us in our family staying for several days. The O'Connors were gracious hosts who supplied great information beforehand and left more at the house in addition to treats, supplies and breakfasts for our entire stay! Liam met us when we arrived and brought us through the house showing us how everything worked and offering recommendations for the area. Everything was spotless and comfortable! We were able to do our laundry and it was convenient to visiting our son at school in Cork and touring the beautiful area and fun city of Killarney.

We decided at the last minute to go away before I returned to work from maternity leave. I spent 3 days looking for somewhere to stay. Some queries into home rentals still have not been answered, 2 months later! When I came accross ann Maries home my query was answered in less than 1 hour & our rental was booked before the end of the day. The home was comfortable and clean. Its in a great location with easy access to all amenities. The cake, milk, tea & coffee that was left for us was very much appreciated after our journey. Also the provision of other necessities like toilet paper, washing liquid etc was also appreciated. I have stayed in other places where we had to supply our own basic necessities. Ann Marie was lovely to deal with, very friendly and helpfull. The next time we are holidaying in Killarney we will without a doubt be in contact with ann Marie again.

Let me start off by saying that the homeowners were an absolute delight to work with prior to our arrival. AnnMarie went out of her way to ensure that all of our needs and questions were met. The house is located in a great location as you are close enough to downtown but yet not to close that you can't escape the hustle and bustle. Tons of parking so that was not an issue. The house was beautiful and in excellent condition. Plenty of room for three of us to spread out and enjoy some down time after traveling with each other for a week. This home was the perfect end to our perfect vacation! I would defintely stay here again and I highly recommend it! (I usually don't write reviews, but after staying in some really bad places I thought this was just the perfect time!)

We had a lovely week in Killarney - it was great to walk into such a welcoming house after a long days driving. The treats for all of us was a very welcome surprise.
I can only say good things about the house - it was meticulously clean, the beds were comfortable and the extra camping bed provided to accommodate us was a lovely touch. The collection of utensils were great and enabled us to cook all week which when travelling with children was a great saving.
We found the location of the house superb - having the National Park on your doorstep - what more could we ask for!! We had some great days out in the Park - we hired bikes and cycled to Torc Waterfall and visited Dinis Cottage - the views were amazing - not even the rain could dampen our spirits - to be truthful I think it just added to the fun. We had a few wet days but there was still loads to do - we visited the pool at Gleneagles Hotel and a also had a play day in Buddies Indoor Soft Play area.
When the weather brightened we got to visit Muckross House and the Traditional Farm which everyone really enjoyed. We also got to visit the Park behind the Cathedral and take a lovely walk taking in the amazing views around the Golf course. We also visited Dingle - the views were amazing ...but we ran out of time to swim with the dolphins. ?
All in all we had a great time- I didn't hear the word "bored" for a whole week which I think sums up our holiday - never a dull moment. We arrived home exhausted and happy with a long list of things still to do on our next visit.
Thanks for all your help along the way - the simplicity of booking and the advice before we arrived was very much appreciated.
Will definitely be in contact if we are lucky enough to travel your direction again.

We (2 adults & 2 children) spent 3 nights here. The location was excellent for touring around Kerry. Muckross house just across the road. House - home away from home. Clean & had everything we needed. Plenty of fresh towels & blankets. Nice convenient supermarket close by.
