Description from the manager
These neat and tidy 3BR/2BA accommodations have everything you'd need in a ski vacation property, featuring a gas fireplace. But it's all about location, location, location. Not only are you a stone's throw from the mountain, you're right in the middle of the action for Killington's infamous nightlife. In season, the shuttle runs a night schedule as well, or enjoy being close to some fabulous restaurants. In the summer you have access to the outdoor heated pool, tennis courts and a playground for the kids!

Edgewater, NJ, United StatesGreat location, a little small for 8 people
Left on 01/03/2013 for a stay in January 2013
The condo was in a perfect location. Skiing back at the end of the day was great and easy. It was also very clean, like many other reviews stated. We thought it was a little small for 8 people. I had asked the management company if this would be a problem and was informed 8 people would be fine. I would say 6 max. to be comfortable. The overall experience with the management company was terrible. I will never use them again. I was booked in a different unit than requested, then was told the one I wanted was taken. I was then informed the unit I was given was being upgraded before the season started, it wasn't. I was then told I could get 30% discounted lift tickets, which ended up being less then 15%. I was also given 3 day tickets when specifically asked for 4 day tickets. On top of that when I got to the mountain the tickets weren't even under my name, they were under the name of the gentleman at the management company. I lost 45 minutes of a powder day standing online at guest services trying to sort it out. Management company tried to be helpful, but these errors should never have occurred. I will never use them again.

Sandys, QC, United StatesKillington Stage Trip
Left on 05/31/2012 for a stay in May 2012
We had a great time. It was the perfect location in proximity to the race. We may want a larger condo next time, but it was fine for what we were doing. The washer/dryers did not work but were probably abused through the winter (that would be only complaint)The mgmt. team were, as always, helpful. We will come again next year.

Heather, I did not keep tabs but I hope you won while you were here. We appreciate you Stage Racers and we are looking forward to seeing you again. Regards, Kent

Yonkers, NY, United StatesFun place to stay for groups
Left on 02/21/2012 for a stay in February 2012
Whiffletree D4 is a great spot to stay if you're with a group of friends or family. The furniture is a little dated, but the place was spotless and had almost everything we needed, not to mention it's a quick shuttle ride away from the Snowshed area (< 5 minutes).
If you're bringing food and coffee to cook in the kitchen, don't forget to buy things like sugar, ketchup, etc. (we did and missed it dearly). That said, there is salt and pepper available.Response from The Killington Group - 03/01/2012

Terri, Glad to hear you enjoyed your stay. We will look forward to seeing you again in the future. With Kindest Regards, Kent Hower

New york, New York, United StatesVery convenient

Location is fantastic....I feel like a lot of places in VT in general havent been updated since 1982 and this was definitely one of those places. Very old furnishings and finishes, but place was as clean as a place that old can be. Kitchen was well equipped and towels were clean, so can't complain, but it's not a luxurious place to stay. Amazing location right at the base of the mountain and near all the action.

Christine, I can understand what you are saying about 1982. I am glad you enjoyed the location and I am glad to hear the unit was clean. We pride ourselves on quality when it comes to cleaning and thankfully it shows. Kind Regards, Kent Hower The Killington Group

dix hills, ny, United StatesClean, everything works but could be better.
Left on 02/01/2012 for a stay in January 2012
Overall my experience went well. The unit was clean, everything worked, we didn't have to wait very long before the shuttle bus came around to pick us up. I do want to say that I was not made aware we had access to discount lift tickets. The website I booked through () said nothing about discount tickets. By the time we got there we found out they need 24 hour notice for lift tickets so we ended up paying full price vs 30% off. The TV was a very small outdated rear projection maybe 13"dia. Heat worked but the place was still cold even with the gas fireplace running. Automatic thermometers turns off in the middle of the night waking up to a cold apartment. This unit did not allow use of the storage closet by the front door for gear storage, at least no key was provided to lock it. Those are the only quirks off the top of my head. In the end, we're just a bunch of low maintenance guys up there for a bachelor party.
