Stayed Friday and Saturday nights for a Saturday night wedding in Pittsfield (about 20 minutes away). The Cabin was as advertised -- and conveniently located (i.e., within walking distance) to groceries and nightlife (Casey's Caboose!). Cab service to and from wedding was also convenient and reasonably-priced (Gramps Shuttle; $25 each way). Would definitely rent again. (Thanks, Dave!)
Awesome mountain retreat!

That was the first thing we said when we arrived. There wasn't anything left dirty or out of place. The sleeping arrangements were just fine. We thought the beds would be uncomfortable but were pleased to find them quite comfortable.
The town pool a few miles away was just what the little ones needed and just a few $.
Even though we came from the east we found that Rutland had just what we needed and just 12 miles. The one thing I wish I knew was that the Hannaford in Rutland does a bottle exchange for the water cooler. Oh well, next time.
