Golden Pond Lodge is a delightful period villa located on the famous Ring of Kerry and among the most breathtaking scenery in Ireland. This enchanting villa is set on a hillside close to the picturesque town of Killorglin. Surrounded by an acre of private gardens including large well tended lawns, mature trees and shrubs with distant views of the river Laune and the McGillycuddy Reeks mountain range.
Everything about Golden Pond is designed by its owner ( interior designer) with the guests ultimate comfort in mind.

This is a tastefully renovated turn-of-the-century home that is perfectly situated as a base to explore nearby villages and southwest Ireland. We invited guests from the US, one couple for each of the two weeks that we stayed. Each couple was delighted with the house. The downstairs bedrooms are beautifully appointed and extraordinarily comfortable. The kitchen and adjacent conservatory were the two rooms in which we spent most of our time - the conservatory is perfect for cocktail hour!
I cannot praise the village of Killorglin enough. Despite its small size, it contains several outstanding restaurants and boasts pubs in which "trad" or traditional Irish music is played. Surely, you will not be disappointed if you choose to stay at Golden Pond. -

I arrived with my family , there were five of us staying in the house.It's a lovely drive down to Kerry and Killorglin is very pretty.The house is chic and the gardens , plants & shrubbery well manicured.The house has a special charater of it's own, very individualistic and obviously attended to by someone with a good idea of design and for detail.Spacious surroundings,decent patio in which we barbequed,log fires in the evening, scented candles with a glass of Rioja.Killorglin is well located close to the sea with some wonderful drives - we played golf in Dooks,walked Glenbeigh beach,took in the breathtaking scenery along the Ring of Kerry and visited Killarney,Tralee and Kenmare.However you don't have to leave Killorglin as it boasts some great restaurants - fish,steaks,tapas, it's all there.We will definately be back.

This beautiful house is a real find,I dont recommend lightly,but this surpassed all expectations,lovingly decorated,it makes you want to move in from the moment you arrive.The rooms are gorgeous,furnishings tasteful,the grounds allow for sitting outside and enjoying long summer evenings in the privacy of your own home.
The location is fab,no need for taxis, just walk into town and find some great bars and restaurants,We look forward to returning very soon. -

Candles and warm lights, turf fires and good books wow this place had it all.
We were delighted when we arrived at Golden Pond it was such a welcoming place. A short distance from the town and the beautiful river. Lovely restaurants and of course pubs for a pint of the black stuff earned after a day of adventures.
The house is located perfectly for trips to all the scenic spots in the area.
It really is a home from home in fact its probably nicer --- we would love to go back.
