This pet friendly, terraced cottage sleeps 2 people in the village of Kilmore Quay near to Rosslare and close to Great Saltee Island in County Wexford, Ireland. Saltee Cottage nestles at the end of a terrace and offers accommodation for 2 people, an idyllic retreat for couples looking to enjoy some quality time together. Originally a barn, it has been tastefully converted to a high standard throughout. The accommodation is laid out in an open-plan style and has the property its own private patio from which to enjoy a glass of wine on a summer evening.

Most striking is the number of thatched cottages lining the village street and most of these can be dated back to the 18th and 19th Centuries, and have been designated sites of Significant National Importance. Kilmore Quay is renowned as an angling centre that goes back to the turn of the century. Here, the waters are plentiful and offer you the opportunity to catch bass, cod, shark, tope, ling, mackerel, bream, pollock, skate and whiting. The area also offers the keen diver a fabulous location for diving, as the seas from Hook head to Carnsore point have long been known as the 'graveyard of a thousand ships'. All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. The "Min. Per Night" prices quoted are based on the weekly rental price, they are not applicable for short breaks. See our short break policy or ask for further details.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
