Well positioned for all local amenities, this attractive cottage is composed of two double bedrooms, a good-sized bathroom and an open plan living area with fitted kitchen, dining table and wood-burning stove. This property also shares exceptional off-road parking with a neighbouring property,... making it an ideal place for two couples to spend a fantastic holiday.

Kilmore Quay is also an established centre for angling and boasts large numbers of fish in addition to the annual seafood festival in July. With fantastic wrecks between Hook Head and Carnsore Point, the area is also very popular amongst divers. Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

  We spent a week at Carmel's Lodge in Kilmore Quay this month. The house is beautifully decorated and has a great layout. It looks small from the front but it isn't small at all. We were very pleasantly surprised. There is a patio in the front and back where you can sit outside if you want. I loved the sunroom in the front of the house with its comfortable couch and view. Since it was still on the cold side while we were there I liked sitting there in the warm sun. The living room, dining room, and kitchen are in one big, open area. There is comfortable furniture and cable tv if you want it. The house has two bedrooms with double beds so two couples or a family with children could easily share the house. There was private, off street parking. My only complaint was that we were not met by anyone who showed us around the house and we had a difficult time finding how to turn on the heat and the water to the shower.
