Cottage Profile Inverhuron Cottage is a three (3) bedroom cottage located close to a lovely sand beach at Inverhuron near Kincardine. The cottage is an older, well maintained cottage all on one floor with laminant floor throughout. The rear yard, with it's large grassy area and fire pit, provides a spot for your evening gathering. The living room has wrap-around windows to allow the summer breezes to flow through. It has two (2) hide-a-bed couches, television, and DVD player. It was our first time visiting Kincardine and the Bruce Penninsula area. The rental site was informitive and the pictures truthful. The location was close to all amendities and the cottage was lovely. The owners did a wonderful job inside and outside. Great cottage for kids, adults and grandparents. We will come back for sure.

Enjoyable experience, large yard, close to beach, lots of sleeping accommodation, lots of outside and beach toys. One complaint was the vcr did not work but dvd player did. Kids were 10,8 and 5 and all had fun. This was exactly what we thought we would get for the price.

This past summer I rented the cottage and took my three older grandchildren for two weeks - no parents allowed.
The cottage was fine, clean great yard and plenty of room for the 4 of us.
My only disappointment was the beach - it is not as close as I thought, but is in walking and biking distance - but the grandchildren could not go on their own.
Being from the Atlantic coast I am very aware of under-currents and rip - tides. The posting on the beach which is not shown in the bio of the cottage has to be a concern - most times we drove to Port Elgin to use the beach, only on very calm days did we use the local beach.
