The Condo size and accomodations meet our familys needs perfectl

Left on 08/16/2012 for a stay in August 2012

We were pretty excited for this Tahoe Vacation and having a Condo on the lake and a Buoy for our boat and place next to the lake for our kayak was the topper for us. When we walked in the front door we were very disappointed with the dirty looking carpets.Very spotted and in need of replacement. We were again very disappointed when we checked out our master suite and the shower stall flooring and grouting really looked moldy. After we got past these two items were very pleased with the layout of the condo and size of the living/dining room - roomy and comfortable. The large glass sliding doors in the living room and two of the bedrooms were great also. The view was spectacular and enjoying a meal and cocktails on either of the two decks was also very relaxing and enjoyable. I will say the condo is in desperate need of ceiling fans. It was a very warm week there and the a/C unit ran all the time but never cooled the condo down until 2am-3am. The last comment would be the propane tank for the BBQ was left empty and the backup propane tank was full but the valve turn was broken and could not be opened. We started the BBQ the first evening there put the steaks on and the BBQ quit. Since the back up tank would not work we had to broil our rib eye steaks. They were still very good and we got over that also after a couple glasses of wine out on the deck looking at beautiful Lake Tahoe. We did have a good time and actually called to request an extra night which worked out. We had a great vacation and loved staying at Brockway Shores. Unless that particular condo had a few more improvements done to it such as carpets / ceiling fans / A/C unit fixed we would look at other available condo's at this condo complex. The complex managers are great! very accomodating and keep the property looking fantastic. Debbie and ashley with Stay at lake Tahoe property management were also great to work with. We highly recommend Brockway Shores.

      Great location, amazing views

Left on 09/07/2011 for a stay in September 2011

This condo was perfect for our extended family with kids. We loved the location just a 5 minute walk to Kings Beach as well as the private dock and peaceful, quiet grassy lawn in the heart of the condo complex. We spent nearly every evening playing on the grass with the kids watching the sunset. beautiful! The condo was well stocked and the kitchen was adequate for cooking most all of our meals. We enjoyed roasting marshmallows over the fire pit table on the deck. The table was bar height which was perfect for keeping the toddlers away from the flame. Only complaint was the beds. This was kind of a big deal as we didn't really sleep that well. the bunk room was great and the kids slept fine but the two larger rooms had old scratchy flannel sheets on what seemed to be old lumpy mattresses. This condo had a flat screen TV in every. single. room. Would have liked just one TV and more comfy beds. Otherwise a great stay and we'd consider coming back although might want to try another unit in the complex to get a better nights sleep.

      Very nice place

Left on 08/19/2009 for a stay in August 2009

Our overall experience in the Brockway Springs #210 (?) condo was very good. The condo is well kept and everything we needed in kitchen and bedrooms was there. The balconies face the lake and offer a nice view. Location in Kings Beach is perfect for our family.

Two "problems": the lock box did not work easily. We reported it to CB and manager. We have noticed that many bathrooms in lake condos could use an upgrade. Other family members stayed at another lakeside condo that had been upgraded in the past couple years. Those bathrooms had tile floors and counters and modern fixtures.

      The price represents good value.

      Great location; needs updating

Left on 08/12/2009 for a stay in August 2009

This townhouse is in a great location in Kings Beach, a pleasant, ten-
minute walk through a pretty neighborhood to the public beach and
restaurants/stores. The complex has a great view of the lake and is nicely
      landscaped and family friendly.

The unit itself, however, could severely use some upgrading. The common
areas of the kitchen and living room were nice, including an upgraded and
well-stocked kitchen and living room with flat-panel TV and nice
entertainment system. The bathrooms and bedrooms were very dated and
crusty, however. Please, please upgrade the sheets and towels! The sheets
felt like there was sand on them because they were so "pilly," the pillows
were lumpy, and the towels were thin and old. The paint colors in the
bathrooms were very dark and depressing. Other than a new showerhead
in the master shower, all the fixtures and finishes in the bathrooms were
straight out of the 1970s. The sink faucet in the master also had an
annoying drip, which was not repaired despite an immediate call to
      management.

Finally, although there was broadband internet, there did not appear to be
wifi, which was difficult for people needing to work on vacation. A call to
the unit management to find out about wifi was not followed up on.

The stay at the condo was fantastic. We could walk to King's Beach and to the casinos. The private pier was fun for hanging out during the day and the horseshoe pits gave our guy friends the little bit of competitive fun they needed. The condo was comfortable and nice decks for hanging out and BBQing.

      I will definitely go back!

      very nice location

Left on 07/03/2009 for a stay in June 2009

The condo is in a beautiful location, with a lovely view. The great room is a good gathering place for family. The kitchen is nicely updated. However, the showers and downstairs baths are not.
The bedrooms are very dark and some are overcrowded with furniture. There is a beautiful down stairs deck outside the bedrooms, but it is hard to get to and has no outside furniture.
Also, the pictures on the website do not all represent this condo.

      Great Stay!!

Left on 01/13/2009 for a stay in December 2008

      We had a great time!
The property is really well kept, with a lot of little details.
Kitchen provided everything, it even had a Paella pan!
The bedrooms were nice size ( the one with 2 bunk beds is a little small) but they have nice linens, the master bathroom has no tub but a very nice shower, and a basket with soaps, shampoos, etc ( nice touch) . Nice towels,
      The view was beutiful.
It was great for a group of 10, plenty of tv' s , board games, nice fireplace, etc.nice kitchen/living room and dining room combo.
      Great location.
We really enjoy been in the condo that actually feels like a house. We will go again.

The property was exceptionally clean and very comfortable. The location could not have been better with the access to the lake and proximity to town.
The rental agency was very accomodating as we fell in love with our stay and extended it another day at the very last minute.
