The open floor plan is warm and inviting, with its lake view and wood burning fireplace. The living room has a 47 inch flat screen TV, 5 disk CD player/stereo with iPod hookup, and DVD. The recreation room/den has a TV, VCR, board games, books, and foosball. You will really enjoy this comfortable and accommodating home. It's great for families or large groups. Also, it is only five minutes from Lake Tahoe and 7 minutes from Northstar Ski Resort, which offers snow skiing/riding, pool, tennis, mountain biking, and many other summer and winter activities. 10 of us traveled up by vehicles to attend a wedding at north star. It was the perfect distance from everything. The house was very nice and modern. It had just about everything we needed. Could have used trash bags, but that's about it. We had three full bathrooms for us girls to get ready and we never ran out of warm water, the hot tub also was a blast. The pay one price at the beginning was super easy to divide up amongst the guests for me and I didn't have to worry about paying a cleaning fee later cause it was included. When we left we were not able to throw out the trash as it was full, all we did was call the number on the check in paperwork and someone answered right away to tell us what to do.
Thank you!! We noticed the house is for sale but we will keep this for our records to see if it's available when we return.

Pros: Spacious family room is open to kitchen/dining. Den with foosball table. Not difficult to child-proof the family room. In addition to 2-car garage (owner's car takes up 1 space), the driveway provides extra 2-car parking. Hot tub and deck facing the lake. Lots of spa towels, bath towels and pillows. Three full bathrooms in good condition. Adequate kitchen equipment and appliances are available for use.
Cons: Central Hvac with thermostat upstairs makes the upstairs very warm while the downstairs stays cold. Beds are not the most comfortable. One of the three TVs was was not working (in the master bedroom). The cabin is well maintained, but acoustical insulation not great--you can clearly hear even light footsteps on the 2nd floor when you are downstairs.
