Some friends and I spent the weekend here for a little getaway from the city. It's a lovely cabin- spacious and comfortable. We immediately felt right at home. On top of that it is in a great location - just a short drive to several ski resorts. I'll definitely be returning.
Exactly what we were looking for

My friends and I wanted to find a place that was near the ski hill, but still secluded. The cabin was clean, private, warm and everyone had plenty of room to relax. The skiing along with coming home to foosball and games had everyone enjoying their stay in Tahoe.

Serene mountain retreat for perfect summer Tahoe weekend

We booked this great rental for a short but sweet weekend in Tahoe with friends a couple of summers ago. There were 7 in our party, including a family of three who enjoyed the privacy of the loft level bedroom and bathroom while the remainder of us slept comfortably (and quietly!) in the first floors bedrooms. The house was very spacious and could easily have accomodated a larger party. An open kitchen/dining floorplan made for enjoyable communal meals. The rental was a quick drive to King's Beach, and the owner offered free use of their innertubes for a float trip down the Truckee River. I would certainly recommend this to anyone looking for a stay in a clean, affordable, well-located cabin.

The cabin is clean and well situated. I was here during the summer and it's only a a short drive to the lake as well as being only a mile or two from a plaza where you can get groceries and other supplies. Also has several easily accessible hiking trails nearby. Highly recommended

We had a fantastic Tahoe experience in this cabin. Booking was easy and we found the cabin well equipped with all necessary kitchen amenities, bedding/towels and fast wifi. The layout is great for a group, with an open kitchen/dining/living room space, awesome deck and comfortable sleeping rooms that are separate enough from the main areas that noise is not a problem. It's a great location, close to any/all Tahoe activities. I hope to get back there this summer!
one of a kind

This cabin is great! It has plenty of space, a well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. It is also in a really great location for skiing and hiking. The price is unbelievable for what the cabin has to offer.
We will certainly return.

There during a massive snow dump and the roads stayed passable. A great place to hole up with a group - bedrooms plus downstairs and upstairs areas for sleeping, plus enough cooking gear to feast. We had a few who hit the slopes and a few who stayed around the house to read, play games (fussball table), and snowshoe into the trail system (down the lane and take a left). Comfortable, clean, no complaints - it was easy to make ourselves at home. On the drive up, buy some wood for the fireplace and once you're there, walk up to the end of the road for a great sunset view over the lake.
Loved our stay!

We stayed in this cabin during the summer -- it was the perfect home base for our activities! There was lots of room for friends to sleep, and we found the beds / linens to be comfortable. The living room is nice and open, and was the center of activity. The kitchen had all the essentials we needed. We absolutely loved the huge decks, and spent much of our time outside on them. Overall, this house was really comfortable and we enjoyed our time there. In fact, one of our guests actually asked us if we knew if she could rent it for one of her family vacations, as she had liked it so much.

This place was awesome. Loved the layout - great room with a loft above it made for good socializing. Lots of sleeping options. Empty lot next to the cabin and across from the cabin, which gives you a bit more space. Close to the lake, great hiking right from the cabin. Definitely plan on coming back again!
