This three bedroom home offers great space outside as well as inside. There are great views of Lake Tahoe whether you're in the great room cozying up to the woodburning stove or outside on the deck BBQing. The dining room has 8 chairs plus a bench and 3 bar stools. Newly remodeled with new floor coverings this home sleeps 10 in three bedrooms each with a queen size bed with two sleeper sofas in the living area. Located in a nice quiet family neighborhood close to Lake Tahoe or the year round resort of Northstar at Tahoe. Unlimited long distance.

We got this place for the President's Day vacation and couldn't be happier about our choice. After I found the place on Flipkey, I called the Sierra vacation, who was managing the property. They were courteous on the phone and gave me more detailed info;such as price, more details about the property, etc, which affected my decision.
We rent the place with two other families and we didn't have any problem sharing the place:pretty spacious! The kitchen wasn't as updated and big as we wished to be but hey, it did it's work:) We cooked most of our meals there and had no problem. Check in process was really easy:once all was confirmed, they gave us a code to get into the house and that was it! No person-to person check in. Fast and easy! The house was clean and ready and the location of the house was what I loved the most about this house. Close to everything. Although it wasn't summer, it would be perfect for summer vacation as it is really close to Kings Beach. You also have wireless internet access. But the connection was on and off unfortunately:(
All in all, we are very happy about the place and would come back for more! -

We stayed in this house for the Thanksgiving holidays this November (3 nights). The house was just great! Very comfortable, nice, clean, friendly, warm.
We had very good experience and will rent it again for sure. -

Talk about feeling like you've come home and it was our family's first time in Tahoe. You're just minutes from the lake and the first thing you notice is how clean everything is. For what we paid, my expectations were not up to what we found. Nicely decorated and spotless. The Purcells ask that you take your shoes off which we gladly enforced. We have three sons, 22, 20 and 17, all veterans of the rental / hotel scene and they loved the two bedrooms downstairs and the pull out sofas upstairs plus the ping pong table and foosball table in the garage. There's a full size chess board for the brainiacs and a volleyball which we used at the King's Beach courts. My wife is a stickler about cleanliness whether it's a 5 star resort or hotel room and this house ranks up there with the 5 stars. The family room and dining area open onto the deck where a great view of the lake offers an excellent place to have coffee or watch the Perseid meteor shower. Ringside seats! There are four comfortable deck chairs, a nice sized picnic table and a propane bbq on the deck not to mention lots of interested blue jays in the nearby pine trees. The kitchen is well stocked and in my wife's words " they've thought of everything." It certainly felt that way. The master is right off the kitchen and has a small deck too that looks down on the driveway. Really comfy queen bed. You'd want a four-wheel drive in the winter though to get up the short but steep driveway.
Neither of the bathrooms have fans but they're fine anyway with great water pressure in the showers and heat lamps.
Sherri and Christy of Sierra Vacation Rentals were a pleasure too and we loved being able to just punch in the lockbox code for the front door. It was a great stay and to be totally honest, my wife didn't want to give the house a great review cause she thought too much traffic would ruin it. -

Wonderful "great room" and dining area for spending time as a family. Beautiful views from the deck. Loved the convenience to Kings Beach. We would definately come back!

Good Points -
1) Centrally located in North Tahoe.
2) Awesome views to Lake Tahoe and mountains.
3) Very well maintained home.
4) Has a small game room.
Recommendation -
1) Bring your own DVD's/ CD's/ Books (Very few at this rental home).
2) Be careful while parking your car(s).
3) Will prefer to stay here in winter, probably not in summer.
4) Be prepared for the challenge of opening the main entrance key access. It is little bit rustic and ask for detailed instructions on how to open the case for keys. -

This home worked great for us. We loved the one big room upstairs
with kitchen, dining room, living room space all open. THere is a great
view of the lake. THe bedrooms are all very nice with lots of storage
and closet space. The entrance area down stairs was great for putting
all out ski boots and jackets. The outside entrance step is placed in an
odd location.. very dangerous at night if the light is not left on. I
would also suggest putting twin beds in at least one of the downstairs
bedrooms (if there is room). Our teen age boys were not interested in
sharing. The location for skiing and shopping is great. Ping pong in the
basement was an added surprise. Thanks. VK -

This house was very well kept and clean. Between myself, my husband and my girls we like the mountains and the water. The view from the house was great and we were in a mountain setting. The office was very helpful in finding the house and the paperwork all went very smoothly. I highly recommend renting this or any property from Sierra Rentals. We would definitely do it again. The only thing that would have been nicer was a lounge chair on the deck for sunning!
