Orinda, CaliforniaWhat a Find!
Left on 11/19/2012 for a stay in November 2012
We recently had the pleasure of being guests in this lovely home while in the London area for a family wedding. The house is beautifully appointed - just as it looks in the pictures. It was spotless, comfortable and everything you could want in a home away from home. The owners were charming and helpful - I could not speak highly enough of our experience here. The location of the home is ideal for access from either Heathrow or Luton airports, an easy train ride into Central London and within minutes of the charming village of King's Langley.

Stoney Creek, Ontario, CanadaThis house is gorgeous!
Left on 11/04/2012 for a stay in October 2012
We couldn't believe how absolutely gorgeous this house was! Rainer and anne gave us a quick tour when we arrived - they had left milk, sugar, tea and coffee, snack bars and a bottle of wine for us. We definitely needed a rental car for transportation as we went for day trips to Windsor, Stonehenge, Cambridge, Letchworth and Colchester - rather difficult to arrange by train or bus. Our evenings though were spent at the house, where we mostly watched tv and used our laptops. Having the washer and dryer there was great and we really liked the heated towel racks! About the only negative thing I can think of is that the house is too gorgeous with cream plush carpets all through, so we were really careful always to take off shoes at the door and we only ate in the kitchen. My husband and I were here with our son, daughter-in-law and our 3 yr old granddaughter and really enjoyed our visit here. Top marks for a great place to stay!!

OsloRelaxed and spacious
Left on 10/30/2012 for a stay in August 2012
Being received by the owners annie & Rainer was a bonus as they could tell us all about how to work the various things in the house and gardens as well as having access to their son for any queries. The home was very comfortable and we particularly enjoyed the veranda for our meals, the first garden and of course the fantastic second "garden" which is enormous. The kids really loved the outhouse where we could barbecue and watch films on the projector.
We knew the location well already and its perfect for many daily/adult/childrens activities and not far from London either.
We would definetly rent again!

This property was excellent, spacious, extremely comfortable and well equipped. We were made very welcome by the Elsaessers who were excellent and very approachable hosts. It is ideally suited for commuting into London by train or visiting nearby towns by car. We thoroughly enjoyed living in this property.
