Ms Faith worked hard to ensure our holiday was enjoyable and that we were safe during the hurricane.
Helped with the provisions for our late arrival after the shops were closed, making it easy for us to have refreshments and breakfast the next day.
I would recommend arrival in daylight wherever possible, for first timers. -

My husband is Jamaican and I came to Kingston to spend some time with him. We were considering staying in a hotel until I came across this site and found the vacation rentals. An absolute bargain! We were only charged $75 a night plus a $20 cleaning fee. No hidden costs, no fine print to worry about. It was secure with an electronic gate and code for entry. Burglar bars are a stape in every Jamaican home but they don't detract at all from the beauty of the property. When I say it was spotless inside it really doesn't do it justice. It was immaculate. And big plus, the sheets smelled faintly of bleach. Yay! :) I am really picky about clean bathrooms and kitchens; both were sparkling. I am so glad we didn't rent a hotel; most of them are pretty skeezy, not so safe and expensive. Oh and the a/c here was great! A big plus for this girl. :-) I would like to remind anyone traveling to Jamaica that it is a poor country so don't waste resources; electricity and water are very expensive and scarce. Only use what is necessary. Faith was super-helpful; she even met with my husband before I booked because he wanted to make sure it was clean and nice on the property. We had a great time and I'm already looking forward to return in a couple of months. We would like to book a 1 bedroom next time (this time we could only get the studio) and I am confident everything will be just as great the second time around. :-) Thanks Faith for sharing your beautiful property.

I arrived at La Rochelle apartments 5 hours later than Faith was expecting me. She waited up until the am to greet me and show me around! I was more than impressed with the apartment she had reserved for me, it was everything I had seen in the pictures and more! I knew instantly this was better than any hotel I could have chosen in Kingston.
Located in the middle of the town in a nice location tucked away from the busy streets, the place was secure, clean, well presented and very comfortable.
Fast wireless internet, cable tv, washroom, airconditioning, queen sized bed, key code entry, kitchen complete with utensils and remote gate entry with car park for my rental vehicle was standard!
The supermarket, take outs and the bank were just minutes away and the area was peaceful and quiet.
Faith treated me with the upmost respect and was readily available if i needed anything. Even when I wanted to extend my stay at short notice, she took care of me.
I will definitely be going back there and would recommend this to anyone over any hotel in kingston!
5 stars from me!! But don't take my word for it, go and see for yourself ;-)
